Yes, we just finished watching the 4th episode of season 2 earlier today after we watched the Lev OVA the day prior. Suga is helping the team in his own unique way. Most successful teams in the pros at least (you pick the sport) have a veteran who is literally like an assistant coach to the talented younger players. I'm guessing by the end of Suga's last year, he won't come to regret this tutelage of Kageyama because of the team success that they (will) enjoy. - Twitchy

Absolutely Bree!! When I first watched Haikyuu I was relatively new to anime, and didn’t really analyze anime as much as I do currently. The things that I really liked about Haikyuu has remained just as awesome as before. All while, the things that I didn’t pay attention to much prior has elevated my enjoyment and appreciation for the series in a higher tier currently. Can’t wait to revisit many more Haikyuu moments, dialogue, matches, character arcs etc!!! -Vonte

This is such a thing in sports that I don’t think a lot of people really give it the credit that they should. Especially during a long season where the games can become monotonous. I’m glad Kageyama was able to rebound properly following this necessary substitution. - Twitchy

Maybe, maybe not. Gi-Hun has to remember that they ALLOWED him to come back a second time and play the games. Of course they would stack the deck against him. And I think that Vonte also mentioned that In-Ho was wearing the exact same numbered jersey as Oh Il Nam from the first season. @ already binged all ☺️ I think those that understand the depth and nuances of the show are the ones that enjoy and understand how good it is. Those that seem to be disappointed w this season, I feel like just wanted action and more games and seem to disregard the complex stories of the characters, their experiences and situations of the show. Or didn’t understand this was more like a first half of a season. Least we won’t have to wait too long. Considering the creator didn’t even intend for more seasons. I think he did a great job

It's funny how you mention that this felt like the first part of a season given that seasons 2 & 3 were filmed back to back. And thank you for watching the other videos. Here’s the thing, we edit our videos differently because we’ve had videos blocked many times in the past. So once we changed our method, those blocks and copyright scares went away. Ultimately as a reaction channel, we’re literally obligated to highlight ourselves (faces & discussions) more than the series themselves. If we were able to so, of course we’d love to give you all a more “apparent” view of what we’re watching. However, rules & regulations prohibit us from doing so. If our current method is somehow prohibited, or it becomes universally disliked by the viewers, we would then change. But if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. -Vonte

We really appreciate this comment! And I actually agree, I typically don’t really like watching a reactor who has already seen a show before. I usually like to watch people who are completely blind to a series. But you are right, I too get to consume this series in a different light now, especially since I’m watching it in a new perspective/lens. Some of these episodes that we watched are much better now than they were when I “generically” watched it some years ago. My enjoyment is now even greater for the series in its entirety. Don’t worry, we don’t take it as you being rude :) Unfortunately we can’t pause during reactions because we are both watching the series on our own screens in sync. I agree, his bond with his Quincy brethren seems non existent, and he only has ties to his savior Yhwach. Despite personally not liking how he treated Bazz B I do understand that his decision has more nuance than it seems from a surface level perspective. He’s quite intriguing, looking forward for more of him in Cour 4. -Vonte

RIP to Jung-Bae; he put in the most amount of work once the guns came out. What kind of surprises me is how he got into so much debt so quickly. If I recall, he didn’t borrow from loan sharks, just that he has a business that was struggling in S1. Not outside the realm of possibility of course, but still a bit surprising. Mom & son are still kicking, which is great, until I realize that they’re going to deliver an even harder gut-punch next season. 😭 - Twitchy

It’s difficult to pick a favorite episode this season, but this game was so intense that I felt like I had tunnel vision watching it. Nothing else mattered, or even existed, outside of the game. Given that almost all of our lovable characters survived, I’m sure I’ll experience deja vu next season. - Twitchy

As long as it's an enjoyable experience, that's all I can ask for out of an anime. I'll continue to read the manga as we go through the season to compare the two, but I'm guessing this was mostly a faithful adaption given that I haven't seen many people complain about episode 1. It's still early of course, but I'm optimistic about the rest of the season given the quality of this episode. - Twitchy
