The Night: MrTwitchy94 is reactor from the state of Michigan who covers One Piece in the manga, with HunterxHunter anime reactions coming soon. He is an avid Funko Pop collector who also collects too much physical manga.

it's always been one of my favorite episodes for real, i feel like people can relate to it because you always feel the weight of the game on your shoulders and it can break you, but it always feels so reassuring having someone else on the team to call you out and like reel you back in.

Absolutely. It was also a simple touch to show Asahi with a black and white filter in the flashback to showcase his mental state, only to end the episode with him in full color back to his normal self. The balancing act between confidence and timidness can teeter from one side to the other quickly with just one event (the match vs. the Iron Wall of Date, for example).
