1920 and 1910 are Wildly different bourbons, so it's pretty much apples and oranges. 1920 and 1897 are much closer. The 1910 is double oaked and is much closer to the woodford reserve double oaked than the 1920.

They didn't position it correctly. It's a $19.99 bottle intended to be mixed in cocktails, but they set a MSRP for it way above what is in the bottle, and unlike other famous people a lot of Stapleton fans are actual bourbon drinkers so they know what's in the bottle isn't worth the price.

Savory? Please explain. I have this bourbon alot, and it reminds me of a sweeter version of buffalo trace. It has that cherry, vanilla finish, but it is actually the sweetest bourbon I have had. 13th colony and woodford reserve double oak, made me realize that I like my bourbons on the sweeter side. I dont think savory would be the word I would use.

My wife got me a bottle for my birthday. She found it at our local liquor store for around 50 bucks. I enjoyed it for a lower proof bourbon. My only other weller was the antique 107. I enjoyed both very much.

I just got this from a clearance rack in Australia for $78 AUD ($49 USD) but it usually goes for at least ten bucks more, when you can find it. I haven't tried it yet but I am looking forward to cracking open a bottle tonight! Bottoms up lads!

Really good Rye it’s $57 around me. I get a crazy green apple jolly rancher note, and caramel. Almost like this apple suckers with caramel you get around Halloween.

Store picks is where it's at for BT and SR. I would not buy an SR that wasn't a pick. I buy handles of standard BT for Old Fashioneds. They are always on the shelf for $50 in my area. All Wellers are really hard to find around here.

I haven't had a SiB that was noticeably better than the SmB yet. I won't go much over MSRP, so it might take a while.

I don't see it on the shelf at reasonable prices. However, I get it for $42 to $45 at bourbon events and in bottle bundles.

I go to Majors and Anderson Beverage Outlet fairly often. Usually to buy my drinking bourbon and Vodka by the case. They have great prices and great people. The biggest problem I've found with SC is the relative lack of allocated. Far and few between. I usually go to Georgia for the hard to find stuff.

I add a splash to my regular knob creek and it's the perfect bourbon when you want a light maple finish.
