Yes, the castle grounds of the latter better aligned with the former. I would assume Hyrule Castle's layout was changed late in development, so there was no time to adjust the ground of Ganon's castle to reflect the change in any meaningful way besides dropping in the gate structure.

It's an emulator code I play this through my PC.

Not exactly modded I'm running this off an emulator and using an emulator code to give link a yellow tunic and to give him the ability to levitate, I was showing the neat little thing about skull kid's model being able to be reloaded whilst using the levitation to get out of bounds and reload the model over itself. Also Ocarina of time is really old and the entire community around this game is much more beyond than vanilla now since there's speed runners, randomisers and just neat little things that can be done in the game's engine via glitches and set ups.

Fair, the coding for those guys are ancient. If the character model matches, then they react the same way accordingly. You can backtrack through Haunted Wasteland with the Requiem of Spirit and they'll react the same way and even find an Odd Mushroom on top of the Fortress specifically as Young Link. @@Hylianmonkeys

@@Hylianmonkeys they probably don't do any checks for whether Link is an adult or child, only if he has the passport, since the gate will effectively stop you from getting is as a child, it'll never be an issue during play.
