I main using the Longbow and shortbow. My longbow is as powerful as I can get it, and I’m careful to use only the most beneficial mods (like a SID booster with +10m range and a bunch of mods with weakspot bonuses) for my play style. I am a sneaky ninja when I hunt, be it the fauna or RDA. Wearing a headset helps the most with locating prey bc of the sourround sound feature. Noise comes from a source, ALWAYS. Even the ambience sounds come from the animals and insects and birds you see. A noise always means something. I love cliff-jumping and landing on my Ikran. I’ve found if you’re about 25m off the ground, she’ll swoop in and pick you up. I rarely ever use the guns bc my bows are just so much better. Being sneaky is extremely advantageous.

My biggest gripe is this game feels very meh. The enemies are just boring and tacky, the gun play feels very weird, and the fact that it feels like we are basically on our own even tho you see masses of other na'vi. There should have been bigger battles. The ikrans should have been more diverse. The overall world and gameplay was just meh. Loved the concept waited years for an attempt on this type of game all for it to be mid

I agree that Fjordur is one of the best things that has happened to Ark. It's a great map with a lot to offer.
