I'm looking for some kind of insight for brakes for a motorcycle. I've been told by a rep one master size, and other people have been told another. I'm sure I'm right because mine is the smaller one, and the things they complain of. On bikes, nice-nice mater cylinders are sooooo adjustable. ...in the manners relevant to a bike anyway. Good info, even though I'm in the wrong damn class.

Is there ANY way one of these will go into a Fairlane/Torino/Falcon body 70-71? 70-71 Torinos share a LOT of chassis parts with 71-73 Mustang.

Does putting a large tire screw up how the car corers? Example: if I were to use your front suspension and setup but use a 295 or 315 tire will have the same grip as a 275?

Most people will never understand how hard it is to make something, whether it's something done on a mill, or furniture, or cut/bent/welded. At any point something can be off and the time and material is lost forever, or a substandard product is left and needs to be discounted. I felt every word Mike was saying here. Getting screwed by a poorly made replacement part is a relatively new thing these days, so much so that I am very reluctant to change anything older that still works. The older part is usually heavier, thicker, with sharper machining, and in spec. Inhousing is a solution but not a great one: labor is expensive- you almost can't charge what it's worth and need to make it up somewhere else, and a shop's bandwidth is limited. Whatever you're doing ties you up from not doing 10 other things that might be more valuable. I feel you Mike. You make great stuff!

The firm that runs the mergers & acquisitions for Holley are buying everything up. It sucks because they are NOT car people. Mike. I hope you never hit a point where they put too much cash in front of you, that you can't say no. LOL If you need more capital. I am sure there's enough local guys that would be willing to help keep MMI from being bought. 👍 I will be by there to order a rear brake kit next month.

Hello there Mike, I wanted to thank you, again, for reaching out to me personally, to help me with my Panhard bar kit installation questions. My install worked out perfectly, after I realized my my reconstructed car,(new rear torque boxes and full rear frame rails) had frame rail spacing differences specifically to my old car.. I drilled a new bolt hole, for the stationary upper support bar, to accommodate my narrower than normal frame rails. The rest of install went just as your video says. To those that like to "drive" their cars, you are going to love this setup... Keep at it brother.... God bless...

For those, that stumble on to this segment, I ordered one of these Panhard kits. After a little longer wait, than anticipated, I did receive my order.. The product is very well made, that said, I did have a fittament issue during my install. I contacted MMI with my problem, and to my surprise, Mike Maier himself, called me to discuss my issue. My 65 Fastback, had the frame rails, rear torque boxes and rear floor replaced, over many years, two different brands of torque boxes used and by different guys doing the work. All of this, meant I had a slightly narrower distance between my frame rails where the kit was to mount up. Mike listened to my problem, and quickly explained, I could redrill the holes for the cross support bar, to accommodate my slightly out of spec project car . He was off, and at a road race event when he took the time, to call me personally.. I could not be happier with the whole experience. I strongly recommend MMi for vintage Mustang suspension parts. Point being, old cars, with lots of work done on them, over many years, will almost always need some additional fabrication to install these types of parts. If it was easy, everybody would do it !!!.. God bless....
