awesome!
I hope there are adequate fire exits. So many people living in there. Beautiful, well thought-out little pad.
Even though the apartment is small, it is highly functional and looks stunning. Great amenities, everything is very well thought of and put together.

Our living room is asymmetrical. Furniture can't be directly in front of the focal point so what can I do
Use a large rug to define the seating area and visually ground the furniture, even if it’s not centered on the focal point. Place furniture at an angle or slightly off-center to face the focal point indirectly, creating a cozy, conversational layout.🙌
@@alex_gmtm so so kind of you to answer me and help
@@alex_gmtm so kind of you to answer me and help will it look weird if the rug is under that area and not under the dining room table ( one big shared room)
Alex please invite canadian and American designers for your training. They know nothing.
Haha, maybe we should! A little design boot camp could do wonders-everyone leaves knowing how to balance spaces and pick the perfect lighting. Who’s signing up first? 😄
Ok, This guy is wearing flip up sunglasses. They are so out of style and dated. Since this guy can’t but modern glasses he obviously can’t design a good home. Plus, he needs to learn how to dress as a professional. Not a kid.
Alex is such an amazing professional that he doesn’t need to follow fashion trends. He makes his own. Steve Jobs was professional, an innovator & leader. He didn’t dress “professional” either.
Haha, well, maybe the flip-up sunglasses are my secret weapon for spotting great design ideas! 😎 Style is subjective, but hey, as long as the homes my designs look better than my wardrobe, we’re good, right? 😂
Thank you for the kind words! 😊 I believe that professionalism isn’t about what you wear, but about the passion and effort you put into your work. Style is personal, and while I might not follow every fashion trend, I’m always focused on creating spaces that inspire and bring joy. Your support means the world to me-thank you! 🙌😊
too many table tops which can be combined functions and save space
That’s a great point! Combining functions in table tops can definitely save space and create a cleaner, more efficient layout. It’s all about smart, multifunctional design! 😊
I‘m confused. Is this video dubbed or is it AI? Why do the words not match with what you’re saying?
He's Russian so it's dubbed with English
@ thank you! I was genuinely curious!

So good. You have to invite American and Canadian designers for seminars. They have no glue. It is confirmed.
Thank you for the kind words! Bringing together designers from different parts of the world for seminars sounds like an amazing idea-sharing diverse perspectives can inspire everyone. 😊
Hi Alex - Thank you for this great advice!! My current challenge is how to design an attractive home office in a featureless room. The space is a 10 x10 drywall box with no natural light. I don't know how to give this room any character without resorting to awful cliches like fake box beams, or brick veneer, or anything that is laughably out of place in my modest concrete block home. Can good design overcome bad architecture? I hope so! Many thanks for your wonderful videos!! ❤
Thank you for sharing your challenge! Don’t worry-good design can totally bring character to any space, even a plain 10x10 room. Here are a few simple ideas: 1. Lighting: Use different types of lighting (like a cool desk lamp or fairy lights) to make the space feel cozy. 2. Walls: Try a fun paint color, a big piece of art, or even some removable wallpaper to add some personality. 3. Decor: Add a couple of plants (real or fake), some shelves with your favorite stuff, or a rug to warm things up. 4. Furniture: Go for simple, functional pieces that don’t overcrowd the room but still look good. You’ve got this! A little creativity goes a long way. Good luck-can’t wait to see what you come up with! 😊
@@alex_gmtm Great stuff - thanks Alex! I'm looking forward to seeing your next video :)
Another brilliant video Alex. Thank you for again sharing your knowledge. My ongoing dilemma is a particularly ugly electrical panel plus seperate solar panels control right outside our front entrance. It is actually what you see as you approach our entrance, as our front door is at a right angle to the wall. A couple of years ago I painted the ugly wall in a deep charcoal & added large plants in pots & 3 Balinese musician statues to deflect from the panels. Right now a Xmas wreath is hung to mostly cover the main panel which is probably the best it ever looks. I’m considering changing to a slatted sliding screen - the panels have to be accessible to emergency personnel as we are in a rural area prone to thunderstorms which occasionally result in power outages. I dream of magically finding a way to make the exterior interest more “welcoming”. So far it seems like an ongoing nightmare. Whilst we are incredibly lucky to have a large property with amazing views, the entrance area is such a disappointment.
Is this in the Soho location or Kennedy Town location? Would love to know. I would consider a month‘s long stay.
No, unfortunately it is located in another part. You can check on Google Maps.🙌😊

quality furniture
Thank you! We’re glad you noticed-quality furniture really makes a difference in both comfort and style. 🙌

I liked it so much ❤but i think there is much better than it bec of that small fridge, small kitchen sink, sharing laundry,...i would like to live there but not for long time!!!!😢😢 Idk maybe bec i haven't been through what i mentioned before!!😅 But there are advantages exist like the view 🪟 noone see me ❤ I'm not exposed 😮😮, the surrounding cafe, gym, even the laundry 🧺 in the same floor ...IDK I'm confused but in total i liked it.....Fatma from Egypt 😊
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Fatma! It’s totally understandable to have mixed feelings. A small fridge and shared laundry aren’t for everyone, but the great view, privacy, and convenient location can be strong advantages. Sometimes it comes down to personal preference and how long you plan to stay. We appreciate your honest feedback! ☺️
High class video. Thumbs up!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the video! 🙌
Very interesting video. Lots to learn.
We call skirting boards the reveal. It is much easier to keep it clean than awfully looking baseboards. Not to mention the look.
Thank you! We’re glad you found it interesting and informative. There’s always something new to learn! 👌
Not in North America. They still do not know what it is. And they are not manufacturing. 20 years behind.
It’s true that adoption of certain building and design technologies can vary greatly by region. Some areas might be slower to catch on, while others quickly embrace innovations. Every market moves at its own pace!😉

Corner kitchens are awful. What else is awful is a lots of countertop. Should be more closed cabinets where you can store staff and less countertop. Countertops are open spaces and collect lots of staff making the space busy.
Thanks for sharing your perspective! Some people definitely prefer more closed cabinetry for storage and minimal countertop areas to maintain a clean and uncluttered look. It all comes down to individual habits and preferences-everyone organizes their kitchen differently! 🙌
HOW MUCH??????
The monthly rent was 3,500 US dollars. 😊
How about the money spent on maintenance
Maintenance costs can vary depending on factors like the property size, condition, and included amenities. In some cases, basic upkeep is covered in the rent; in others, you might pay a separate fee ranging from a few hundred dollars a month to higher amounts if there are pools, gardens, or specialized features. For exact figures, it’s best to consult with the property management or landlord. 🙌

Excellent Video!
Thank you so much! We’re glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice house. Stunning. I have a question: how much was the cost to build this house? Thank you
Thank you for your comment! It really is a stunning house. Unfortunately, we don’t have information on the construction costs.
@ Thank you🙏🏾
I m curious to learn about how they keep mold in the least possible when it’s so humid in Singapore
In humid climates like Singapore, controlling mold often involves excellent ventilation, air conditioning, and dehumidifiers. Regular maintenance and cleaning, as well as using moisture-resistant materials or coatings, can also help keep mold growth to a minimum. 😊
Never likedglossy finishes....glad they are out 🎉
Thanks for sharing your preference! Glossy finishes aren’t for everyone, and trends are always evolving. It’s great to see there are now more matte and textured options available for different tastes. 🙌
Basically it's an expensive hostel, with individual private space.
Thank you for sharing your perspective! It does have a shared-living feel with private units, which can come across like a higher-end hostel. Ultimately, it depends on whether the communal conveniences and private space balance out the cost for each resident.
Singapore is a dump and not worth visiting. The only good thing is it’s airport to leave
I’m sorry you had a negative experience. Everyone’s travel preferences are different, and some people enjoy Singapore’s modern infrastructure, cleanliness, and diverse food scene. However, if it wasn’t to your liking, it’s understandable you’d choose to move on. Safe travels wherever you go next! 😊
Bathroom lighting its too much I prefer calm simplicity in the bathroom
Thank you for sharing your preference! Some people definitely prefer softer, more minimal lighting in the bathroom for a calming atmosphere. It’s all about choosing what feels most relaxing and suits your style! 🙌😊
