My son is underway for the first time, and I miss his so much he's on the USS MITSCHER, and I worry all the time . I try not to because I pray, but my nerves are on edge, and I haven't heard from him in a month😢😢😢. Words of encouragement and some insight on what he may be doing. His job is I.T.

They allow stuffed animals? Really? I was in 1976-1980. I was on CG-17, a Leahy class cruiser. We had the first coffin racks with no curtains or hurricane straps. I had both a top rack and a middle rack after I made 2nd class. Both were good but the top rack had a little more space.

Is the hammock as close to the overhead light fixture as it looks?

My grand daughter leaves for Navy boot camp next month. She’s so tiny and shy and very self conscious of her body. I’m so worried about her but I haven’t voiced this to her. She has her whole families support but I’m the one that she comes to when she wants to hear that plain and simple truth. I was just wanting to get an idea of what my Lilly is going to have to be going through . Dude thank you so much. I've wanted to go to the navy since I was 4. I'm 16 and talking g to recruiters and the naval academy in Anapolis has been emailing. I took the Asvab with the juniors last year for practice. I take it for real in a few months. So thank you so much I'm a little nervous for training after high school.

The navy is a good choice, yea there are some drawbacks but stay the course promote and in 20 years you can retire. Not bad at 38 with benifits and a check every month.
