Just to help a friend, the screaching sound, i had it too, but by researching, i found that if u use the included lube, on the belts near the bearings, and move the extuder head all around, you will corect that noise that’s caused because of the firction.
Love the "Adventurer 5M" rundown, mate!👍 Just upgraded to the Flashforge AD5M Pro myself. The auto bed leveling is a godsend and swapping nozzles has never been easier!😎 Plus, the air quality stays top-notch!🙌 Welcome to the Flashforge family!🚀
Glad you enjoyed the video. I agree, I am very happy with the Adventurer 5M so far.
Thank you! This simplified the process so much.
Glad it helped. Thank you for the feedback.
My screen keeps falling of the mount
It should snap securely into place. For mine it took some force to get it in.
great video, straight to the point. Thank you very much :)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Use orca slicer not flashprint, it's much better
Thank you for the comment. Flash print 5 works well for me. Since I have a flashforge printer it also has more hardware options (i.e. more nozzle sizes). The message is to ensure to use support for prints with overhangs.
Thank you. This really helped me.
You are welcome. I am glad it helped.
Thank you for your very detailed video. What about the burn in since you started using it?
You are welcome. I have not had any issues with burn in since I started using the screen about 10 months ago. I use it both for work and personal use so the screen gets a lot of on time.
@@JoeAlisando Thank you for your quick answer. On the net you find a lot of people who have had problems but it may not be representative of the global buyer
I don't see 240Hz option for my G93SC
I see the 240Hz option on my G93SC. You must have a graphics card powerful enough to support that function. My graphics card is the RTX 4090. To access the function, in windows 11, right click on the desktop, select display settings, select advanced display, under choose a refresh rate chose 240Hz from the dropdown menu. I hope this helps.
Does G93SC have 240Hz mode? I don't see the option in the display OSD

This monitor is 240hz, when you use the PbP mode, does it limit you to 120hz? When you lower the resolution does it still limit you to 120hz?
Thank you for the question. Under normal mode I can access 240 Hz with my RTX 4090. When I switch to PiP/PbP it limits me to no more than 120 Hz. Lowering the resolution still limits me to 120 Hz. I hope this helps.
The buckle immediately came off so I can't get the display monitor to hold the LCD screen cable! Is there a trick? Thanks!
It is not easy. You need to open the clip/buckle, insert the cable and while holding the cable in place with one hand, use the other hand to close the clip/buckle.
Why is my glitching out?
What seems to be the issue?
I am from UK and have the LS49CG934SUXXU (S49CG34SU) I found the latest firmware , downloaded and extracted put it in the back via USBC but it found nothing. What am i doing wrong?
Did you connect to the USB-C service port?
@@JoeAlisando At the back of the monitor, top left USB-C port. Is this correct?
It should be correct, it may also be the way the USB drive is connected to the monitor. I tried different adapters to connect the USB-A flash drive to the USB-C on the back of the monitor. The adapter in the video is the one that worked. The other ones didn’t. The manual does specify that a USB 2.0 must be used. I hope this helps.
Just got this monitor. does a remote not come with it?
The G93SC model monitor does NOT come with a remote.
Its funny in this video i see g sync on the spec page but it isnt there anymore for me? I just want to know it works, i ordered one today on the prime deals

i have the same printer and im struggling getting it perfectly dialed in, stringing seems to be a big issue. using retraction at 0.8mm, z hop at 0.4mm set to spiral mode.
That is strange, I am not having those issues. It is difficult to diagnose the problem without being there since the cause can be due to many reasons. What program are you using to slice the drawing? Is your filament compatible with the print speed? When loading the filament, was the correct polymer chosen? What filament type are you using? Does your print need support or are you orienting it correctly?
Sir, do you know if the firmware updates change the DisplayPort version 1.4 to version 1.4a? Thank you.
Thank you for the question. I only see two options: versions 1.4 and 1.1. I will be making a video for all the menu options, not just display port, so stay tuned.
what table frame/legs did you use?
I used the ones that were for my old desk. Following is a link to the old desk I used to have. a.co/d/5uSiHqc
Should I buy this printer i am complete beginner and am wondering between this and the ender v3
We have had the printer for a month and would recommend it. No issues so far and it is very easy yo use. If you would like to know more about how to use it, see the following video. th-cam.com/video/mjSMaWjQ8Gk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=t3QhZDezbdpH13RU
yes very much so
I just brought mine a few days ago doing my first print now it's easy so far
Really useful, I found the cable demonstration really good because I was getting frustrated "how does anyone do this", but I found out I was just going to ruin my cable, was trying to put it in the wrong way. Very glad I looked at this. Thank you
Been trying to do this by myself for the longest and today i finally did it. Thank you so much my guy! You're a life saver!
No problem 👍. Glad it helped.
Thank you so very much for your informative video. Sorry to have to ask. But at 13:10 I didn't quite get the part about new users? Do you mind telling me what you said there? When the cover came off? Was you meant to remove that print first before continuing? Thanks.
Thank you for the kind words. Before starting a new print, it is a recommended to apply adhesive onto the printing bed. A sample of the adhesive is provided with the printer.
People use glue sticks to help with bed adhesion, aka first layer sticking really good.
You really turn the Pixel Shift to on. It tilts the whole screen from time to time side to side up and down. You won't notice this but helps to prevent burn-in.
I have made a separate video on the topic of preventing pixel burn in. If anybody is interested please use the following link. th-cam.com/video/s5qPj8koxSw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gJR5ifF5EorOBMUz
So you have to load the filament it provides
Only during the first print when installing. After the printer is installed I use third party filament.
@@JoeAlisando I ended up using my own spool of filament. Everything was fine not saying this was supposed to do just what I ended up doing
I got this monitor recently, and the Hz are locked at 60. I don’t have the HDMI cable that you are showing in the vid, but it worked fine with my old monitor (144 Hz). Do you have any clue in how to solve this?
Hi, thank you for the question. May need to upgrade the graphics card. Did the old monitor have the same resolution?
Hello, Does Adaptive Sync Give You Better Response Time Or Do I Turn It Off For Better Response Time?
Hi, I would leave the monitor Adaptive-Sync on. Adaptive-Sync technology is a feature that is designed to synchronize the refresh rate of a monitor with the output of a graphics card to reduce screen tearing, stuttering, and input lag. It is implemented through two primary standards: AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync. If you would like to improve response time, I would recommend upgrading the graphics card.
@@JoeAlisando So Adaptive Sync Lowers Input lag?
Relative to V-Sync, Adaptive-Sync reduces screen tearing and stuttering without impacting input lag. V-Sync will significantly impact input lag. For my setup, what I think works best is to turn on Adaptive-Sync and turn off V-sync. If you try it out on your rig, can you tell us what works best for you?
Looking to order this
My son has been printing nonstop. We like it so far. Will post another video soon going over how to print, showing some of our initial prints and a general review of the printer. Stay tuned.
Please, choose Russian in the menu, soon the whole world will speak Russian 😀
Does this monitor have a matte or glossy coating? Also if there an option to manually run pixel refresh, or does that happen automatically ?
Thank you for the good questions. Below are answers to both questions. I hope they are helpful to you. 1. The monitor has a glossy coating. When it is off, I can see my reflection in it. However, due to the high brightness of the monitor, when it is on, glare is not visible. 2. Manual pixel refresh is available only on later firmware versions. For example, it is available for firmware version 1007.1. For information on how to update your firmware please see the following video. th-cam.com/video/DLkAlntNUDc/w-d-xo.html . 3. The following may also be helpful to you. In addition to pixel refresh you have other options to prevent screen burn in. If you have an earlier version of the firmware and do not wish to update to a newer firmware, please see the following video for other options. th-cam.com/video/s5qPj8koxSw/w-d-xo.html
@@JoeAlisando I’m currently using last year’s version of the oled g9 with the smart tv feature, g95SC. In the menu system there’s no pixel refresh option found anywhere. Is that in one of the firmware updates
@@VeggieMight101 I do not own the G95SC so cannot comment on the firmware update. For G93SC, updating the firmware from 1004.0 to 1007.1 added the pixel refresh option. Check your firmware for updates and if there is one, it may help to execute the update.
thanks for the thorough and very helpful video! 👍
Thank you for the positive feedback. Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful! Thank you!
Does it come with a GPU support bracket?
Hi, it comes with a graphics card anti-sag bracket which can help support a graphics card. For a full list of hardware that comes with the case please look up the user manual page 2. For installation instructions of the anti-sag bracket see page 11 of the user manual. There are also optional kits you can purchase that will allow you to change the orientation of the GPU but those will cost extra. See page 12 of the user manual for the optional kits.
Thank you. I just got my system today and this is very helpful.
Great help thank you!
Glad it helped!
Can you split the screen into two separate monitors using PBP using a single source? I want my laptop to see two separate monitors in desktop settings.
I believe it may be possible with an adapter that plugs into a thunderbolt or USB port in the computer. I will attempt it and share the results in another video. Stay tuned!
can you leave out the remineral filter
Yes, the re-mineralization filter attached to the carafe is optional.
It is genius to install the sensor on the rail, making it so simple
Thank you for the kind words.
The latest firmware 1007.1 adds a new Pixel Refresh function which should help with this also.
How often do you do it? 4 hours? Is this function different from the one that occurs automatically when the screen is turned off with the remote control ? (RGB on back still on when it run and screen off) I received my LS49CG954SUXEN today, it's my first Oled screen.
@@vins8819 I have been running pixel refresh weekly when I turn off the screen at night. That maybe excessive but I consider it as a preventative measure. I have the G93 without remote.
Hey! Did u get a remote control? or is this only monitor version, without smart tv mode? Thx in advance
Hi, the monitor in this video is not the smart monitor version and does not come with a remote.
Are there any precautions you take to protect the oled screen from oled burn-in? There are many positive and negative comments on the internet
That is a great question. I haven’t had any issues with oled burn in so far. I will soon prepare a separate video on what I do to prevent that issue. Stay tuned!
Im glad I saw this video bcus the ones I saw didn’t mention anything about the mineral filter. So I didn’t know if I should place the mineral filter to the carafe first, after or not at all while flushing out the water.
Just got this monitor recently. Your video helped a lot, thanks 👍

So my new pc is very close to your build, but the Ram I am on 4x32gb at 6400hertz but cant get it about 4000hertz and XMP don't work either, The one thing I can think could be the issue is my Bios, As I am on AMI BIOS, 7D86vA0, 2023-09-25 (Which is the one out of the factory) Do you think its worth updating personally, as I noticed in one of the updated Bios there was a Improve memory compatibility on one of the newer Bios, I know that I have kind of answered my own question, but its more do you think its worth updating the Bios to the latest generally do you notice any improvement's? and is it likely to resolve it. If you install two ram sticks instead of four, do you still experience the same issue with the RAM speed? Have you checked your RAM for issues using MemTest86 as shown here th-cam.com/video/6sxf25WGuJk/w-d-xo.html ?
@@JoeAlisando When i tested it with 2 ram sticks, I was getting 5200hertz with out XMP as that wouldn't boot when i turned it on either in bios, if i remember correctly i could never reach 6400hertz

@@JoeAlisando the in ranges from 350 to 480 and the out is from 30 to 60. Also I’m getting water from a faucet that already has a house water filter (not a RO) and I’m surprised at the number being that high
@@Loveisabrilliantlight I agree 30 to 60 out is too high. Try running a few more cycles and if the out numbers don’t consistently drop to less than 20, contact the manufacturer for support.
I have one. We are in the first wash and it is so slow. The water is dropping little by little and the machine stop to work so it is needed to start again and again. It is normal for the first wash?
Hi, thank you for the question. The first wash is not going to produce water. It fills your filters with water as they come pretty much empty. Make sure to let the first wash run all the way through even if there is no water coming out. It may seem like the machine stopped but let it keep going. Once the first wash is complete, discard the water from the reservoir and add fresh water. The second wash should have water coming out. See the video at 9:50 for an example of the first second and third washes.
Great video thank you very much 😊
Thank you for the kind words. Glad you liked it.
In my case I am not able to remove the m2 shield at all. Even with bruteforce. Any suggestions?
That is very strange. For me the cover came off pretty easily. Did you make sure to press the release button before trying to remove the cover. If so, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer to see if they can help.
Did you fix the issue if so how?
Hey Joe, I've purchased mine as well a couple of weeks ago, however I've got sort of an issue, I don't have anymore the 4k resolution, I can't select it anymore. Do you know what might be the issue? I tested it when i got it but i suddenly disappeared. I searched some guides online but nothing was helpful. I've got a 4070 super as my GPU so it shouldn't be a problem running it at 4k.
Hi Adrian, thank you for the question. Which cable are you using to connect the monitor to your PC? Did the cable come in the box with the monitor or did you get it through a third party? If you got it through a third party can you please share the manufacturer and other details so I can look it up?
do i need to update my bios first or drivers and do i download all the drivers from the msi website for the z790 ace max mobo at the same time or one at a time?
The order of updating bios vs drivers does not matter. For a new build, I update the bios if needed, then install windows and then install the drivers. The default window drivers can also work so the driver updates from msi are optional. You can download the drivers from the msi website one at a time and install as needed.
I am confused on how the power off/standby should work for this monitor. It's pretty random. Sometimes, when I power off the PC or put it to sleep, the monitor powers off with the standby led solid red on its own and the LED ring turns off. Good. Sometimes it does not and stays on so I press and keep holding the menu button to switch it off. But.... it doesn't always work and instead the menu appears. Then the second time holding down the menu button works. Sometimes, when powering off the PC or putting it to sleep, the monitor standby led starts blinking red instead. What does that mean? The power off button from the menu seems to do nothing? It never powers off because the standby led is not turned on and if I press the menu button, it just shows the menu again and not like it's powering on again displaying the Samsung and Odyssey logos. Maybe I am misunderstanding all of this or is it Samsung shenanigans? 😄
Thank you for the questions. See below for a list of answers to each question. 1. The display always powers off correctly for me, and the red LED light turns on when the display is powered off. Also, in regard to the power off button from the menu, for me it always turns off the display after which the red LED light turns on automatically. 2. The blinking red LED means the monitor is still on but there is no source signal. For example, when you turn off the PC the source signal goes away so the display turns black with the red light blinking. If you were to turn your PC back on, the signal returns and the monitor will automatically receive the signal without you needing to press the physical power button to turn it on. 3. Not sure if it will help but I also have the automatic turn off display option selected under Menu -> System -> Off Timer Plus -> Off Timer -> On. I have it set so the display turns off in 1 hour if it does not receive a signal.
@@JoeAlisando What's your firmware version?
The software version I have installed is M-C9349GGAA-1004.0
@@JoeAlisando Same version. Yesterday, coincidentally, for the first time, the monitor refused to switch off. Held down the menu button like 4 times and each time the menu kept coming up. Had to unplug the power cord. First time I have encountered a monitor that is such a hassle to power off. Maybe it is becoming sentient. 😄 There is a newer firmware version; 1006 but I read users having problems with intermittent black screens occuring on that version. Although there is a way to downgrade the firmware by renaming the firmware file with a higher number tricking the monitor that it is installing a newer version. So there's that piece of mind if I feel like updating.
I am sorry to hear you are having so many issues with your monitor. The issues may be a hardware related. Have you tried contacting Samsung customer support? How long have you owned the monitor?
