I think they definitely used bloodhounds in the APBT. Some of them look so much like hounds, and they were known as one the meanest toughest dogs in the world in the 1800s.

Good evening, You said that the brindle bulldog had no terrier in him. I have never herd that and it makes me want a brindle bulldog. So heres my question, Could i breed my own type of bulldog without useing the english bulldog? Great video and i appreciate you shareing this information. ALSO when you said he came from spanish war dogs and mastiffs were they the english mastiffs ?

Lost a dog in October. I’ve been catching my bulldog going in her crate and sleeping in the basement. There has definitely been a grieving period for him he came home as a 6 week old to her.
