I'm not saying this in a knee-jerk manner, nor am I trying to be confrontational on any level. You can believe whatever you like (isn't that one of the best things about this country?), but this administration has been dialing it in from day one (especially Harris), so I'm unsure what (other than continuing TDS) could be used to marshall the troops at this point, so to speak. Despite the unfounded propaganda and skewed statistics they've published, there are precious few 'accomplishments' to point to for Joe, and in American politics, that's usually a signal that the pendulum is about to swing the other way. The simple fact is that Biden was allowed to live in a bubble during most of his tenure; there was no shortage of people trying to tell him the plan wasn't working, but he had a cadre of handlers making sure that that message never got through. In the end, who was served by that? Certainly not the American people. By promoting the dog-and-pony show over substance, Dems have paved the way for Trump's return...there is no one else to blame if he and the GOP win in November.

There is a reasonable argument for Biden resigning, Harris becoming President, and Harris running as an incumbent. (Has the Biden Cabinet discussed invoking the 25th Amendment? If Biden is really unfit to serve, then that's their duty.) The current Biden campaign can become the Harris campaign, with the funds already raised, with the same volunteer base. I don't think that's true for anyone other than Harris. Four years ago, she accepted the role of readiness to take over if Biden could not serve. Yoinking that role away from her would feel bad to me, even if she were a white man.. Since she's a woman of color, the implications are even worse: "you were only on the ticket as a gesture, not as the real Next In Line".
