Why the US Deficit keeps rising - And what's Next
The US is in debt by Trillion of dollars. This is not good for our future. Both parties are to blame. They have both had equal time in the past 40 years to fix this. Our deficit continues to climb. What can be done? Is Elon Musk the savior? The data is believed to be accurate in this video...but as always do your own research.

I think they are going to get us back on track. They are going to get rid of all the crap
I’m hoping. This is a turning moment in history
How is the recoil compared with a .30-.30?
Probably a little more but it really is not bad at all.
I was searching for a 5.0 but I’m glad I settled for the 2.7, that motor is a beast with great mpg.
Yes it is…my opinion best motor out there
@ I personally think the 5.0 is the ideal choice if it comes to modding. But in stock form the 2.7 is impressive and looks like it’s the most reliable out of the 3 engine option (3.5eb or 5.0)
Good Video but all I can conclude is the two companies often have different results, but there is no conclusion of which one is correct - so good info but not complete enough to really make a choice. What needs to be done is to have the same sample also sent to a lab that can provide its certification and calibration documents to act as a bit of a benchmark. In the end thought, perhaps it's more important to look at the relative results, ie use the lab results over several oil changes on your vehicle to detect changes that might signal problems. That is what I do with my vehicles, I have used Blackstone for years. On my last car, I saw declining metals on each oil change, so that tells me that the wear is reducing, primarily by using perhaps a better quality oil. The oil tests also helped with the sale of that vehicle, making the purchaser more confident in their decision.
The wear elements were close for the most part. That’s what I’m mostly looking at to see how the engine is doing. I guess I don’t really care about the oil’s additive package…just results of. I did find a third source…so I might submit to all three next time and see if two of them match
I've used many different labs over the years. Currently using Eurofins Testoil. Once you create an account, cost is $45. You get the same tests, plus TBN, Gas Chromatography, Oxidation, Particle Count and if you ask Analytical Ferrography. They supply the bottles, vacuum pump, tubing and mailer for free. Same day turnaround, email report, if received in the morning. I've been using them for past 3 years, dozens of samples completed. Using Amsoil for 35 years.
Thanks for the info…I will have to give them a try!
I have a ‘23 with the 6 speed. Very happy with it. I would prefer the front end your ‘25 has however. Nice video!
Thanks! Its does look pretty good.
Blackstone is also known for their machines being off. Doesn’t measure oxidation value as well which is very important. Speeddiagnostix with lake is also much more in depth.
I’ll have to study the oxidation value a little more
Very good. Great info. Thanks
You’re welcome! Thanks for the compliment
So what oil are you running or trust the most? I’m trying to decide between running valvoline extended/high mileage, Pennzoil ultra platinum or Amsoil.
I’m going to stick with what I have been using for the past 15 years…Mobil one. Zero engine issues. All are good oils though
I’m a recent resident of Ohio, moving from West Virginia last year in September. I don’t have a straight wall cartridge rifle, just an inline muzzleloader right now. I really want a lever gun, but they are expensive. So a bolt gun in either 350 Legend, 400 Legend, 450 BM would be more in my price range. I would like to get a left hand 400 Legend, but they currently only have one ammo available and it’s not as available as the 350 Legend in most stores.
It’s a new cartridge. The 450 was the same when it first came out. Give it some time and more options will become available.
@ yeah it’s only been out for 2 years. I was even looking at reloading options for it and nothing there yet.
1 or 2 ppm could be sampling error no difference.
Yep
Doesn't AMSOIL Signature Series go for 20k miles or 1 year? And according to Mobile 1 their product protects for 10k miles. So a better analysis would be at 10k and 20k miles respectively. Essentially a test of AMSOIL at 6k miles is only 1/4 life. Where a test of Mobile 1 at 6k miles is just over 1/2 life. Subsequently, we also need to question the oil filter used. An AMSOIL oil filter will match the change interval of 20k miles for Signature Series. After those considerations, we should then examine cost. Assuming your truck is a v8 you more than likely need 8.8 quarts, so we will round up to 9 quarts. AMSOIL Signature Series 5W-20 is $15.49 per quart at retail price. Retail for Mobile 1 5w-20 is $8.78 per quart. An AMOSIL filter costs $19.05. And a Wix filter costs $9.99. So AMSOIL would be $158.46 + tax. Mobile 1 would be $88.99 + tax. According to FHWA and NHTS the national average miles driven per year is between 12k-15k miles. This means that if you are using Mobile 1 you need to change your oil at least 2x per year (@ 10k miles, per Mobile 1). This means that your annual cost of maintenance to run Mobile 1 is at least $177.98 per year. As opposed to AMSOIL at $158.46 per year. There are lots of other factors that need to be taken into account starting with the overal comparison of Mobile 1 Full Synthetic versus AMSOIL Signature as this is not a direct comparison. As both Mobile and AMSOIL have a complete lineup of synthetic oils based on customer need. Furthermore, an oil analysis of both oils at 10k miles, which is the limitation of the Mobile 1 product used in your video. Additionally you did not mention if you replaced the filter during your oil change and if so what filter did you use? Then there are factors regarding time. How much do you value your time. Do you like changing your oil. If you are going to change your oil more frequently do you need to use an oil rated to 20k or 10k miles?
Mobil one also has a 20k mile oil. I would NEVER run my oil that long…just my opinion. Both have fine print to cover themselves. Both are good at marketing.
@@whatyaknowjoe67 but thats not what you compared! You compared a 10k oil to a 20k oil and eluded that they were the same. My point is if you want an OE oil, which provides oil change intervals that follow the manufacturer guidelines typically 5-k-7k miles than that would make more sense.
JOE you shoulda used an old rig like my 92 Escape 4x4 with 210,000 on it...I`ve done changes every 3-5,000 W/either Penzoil 5w-40 or Castrol GTX since I did the head & oil pan gaskets @ 75 & 150 ...It`s a very underrated 6 banger that had issues with the front end suspension, but once a fella BUMPS that up a notch she handles like a dream
Nice! Frequency I believe is most important. Had an older focus I bought for my daughter that just ran and ran.
My Cajun Queen is jealous, our Lil girls were so temperamental about those presents we offered, she wished ours would`ve been as welcoming of a Ford, but maybe going to school in her Saab could`ve been the reason
Does the manual say that you can flat-tow this in behind a RV ?
No flat towing, front wheels on dolly for FWD. doesn’t say anything about dolly towing for AWD
@@whatyaknowjoe67 That's too bad. We have a 2019 Equinox Premier, 2.0 Litre, AWD with a 9 speed and it can be flat-towed.
😎sweeet...
Good price too!
Also savage is like the Walmart version of guns anymore they don’t hold up in the long term…. I’ll stick to my mossbergs
.
Americans complaining that 15 bucks a quart is high 😂 In Europe, much worse oils than Amsoil are sold at that price. It's nothing, really.
Not complaining…just like to get the best value for my dollar…what’s wrong with that?? Sometimes the hyped up over-priced items don’t perform any better than the low cost.
Talking about the folks in the comments, didn't hear you complain in the vid.
There's a channel called repairvehicle. The guy opened up a filter used together with Amsoil. You could see the carbon from the engine getting dissolved and trapped in the filter. So that higher cost does pay off. Still, most any oil changed on time will work fine.
👌
Cool equinox...had a 2020 nox...great ride but got totaled by a deer...bought wifey a 2025 Trax....its great so far also.

@@whatyaknowjoe67 will do! Thanks for posting it
It seems to me that all major brand synthetic oils (Mobil, Pennzoil, Valvoline, Amsoil, Castrol...) perform almost identically up to 5-6K mile drain intervals. Therefore, spending almost double on Amsoil makes no sense unless the range is increased to at least 12 -15K miles before another oil change is done.
Good possibility…I thought about that but don’t want to Risk testing in my personal vehicles. I feel that the oil would get pretty dirty in that amount of miles as well.
To each their own. Used both and prefer Amsoil. I am not sure what changed in Mobil 1 formulation but preferred what i got in the 80's90'sver current but again .....
Any data to support your decision…just curious
With the 350 Legend so popular, there is no reason for the 400 Legend. It is an answer in search of a question.
Lot of folks are saying that the 350 is a little light….of course shot placement is most important. The 450 is very popular…nothing wrong with something though that has similar ballistics with less recoil.
The 400 is a good compromise for those that think the 350 is too light and the 450 is too heavy. The first new cartridge to come along that fills a gap that actually exists.
@@mpd2056 Regardless of what "they" think, the 350 Legend duplicates the 30-30, with a bit less range, so it works very well on deer. The sales tell the story.
Amsoil too expensive. Mobil 1 is good value. I prefer valvoline over Mobil 1

Im all set up for the 400. I have had orders with three shops waitingnon a Ruger Predator. I have passed on these Savages and Mossbergs. I may end up with a Savage 110 Trail. I also passed twice on Ruger Ranch Models. I simply want a longer barrel. Its been ten months... I have ammo, Brass, Dies and even bullet Molds ta make my own bullets... But No Ruger Predator Rifle...
Nothing wrong with having two guns in the 400
Heck yea ,let us know how it does after you get it happy shooting have a blessed day
Joe, thank you.
No problem…I enjoy doing these type of videos…thanks for watching
Good job but in my opinion I would never put the compressor inside and have to listen to that noise, I have a new Dewalt 60 gal and have a concrete pad out back and a roof over it and am getting ready to bolt mine down out there and hook it up and not have to listen to that noise, good luck,
I gave that a lot of thought as well…my work area is in the other side of the shop…and this unit is quieter than my old one…so not too bad. Reality is that I don’t really use air as much anymore…I’m liking more of the battery operated tools.
"Let's end this debate." "Should you base your decision on the findings of this one test? No." 🤦♂️
That’s what I said…but you if amsoil was so good…you’d think it would have done better
I would like to get one these, but I don't have high hopes for the 400 Legend because it's barely a whisper in the hunting world and barely any reviews on it and only one brand of ammo out and it's been out for a year at least
Same thing when the 450 came out…I expect this caliber to explode and exceed 350 sales
It's actually only been available for a handful of months. There's actually lots of buzz online lately. I think this is going to be a really popular round in straightwall states.
I’d roll with the Mobil 1
Yep!
I sighted mine in with some handloads I did with 195gr Barnes X for the 45 cal muzzleloader. I got one shot to take out the center of bull at 100. Then next was just slightly 1/2' left and down 3/4" but I kind of rushed it., Next I aimed at one of the corner dots. Tore the center out of the bull again! So I called that good! My scope is Minox 3x9 I got deal on as they were closing out. I am never usually happy with the package scopes.
Nice
I'm sure Amsoil will perform slightly better without watching the video... my argument for Mobil 1 advanced is that I can regularly buy a box of 6qts at Costco for $34. Mobil1 isn't the best but its a great value when purchased at Costco on sale.
Might want to watch the video
@@whatyaknowjoe67 Haha I did. Thanks for the video, I was surprised at how close they were. It blows my mind when people swear by these high dollar synthetics and go spend nearly $100 on the oil alone. I've done 5k oil change intervals on my 2021 3.5 ecoboost f150 and it runs great. I'm about to hit 75k miles and i'll be changing the oil myself this weekend with Mobil1 Advanced.
I tried PUP on my 13 Accord 2.4l 6MT thats tuned. Engine seemed to be noisier. I tried Castrol Edge in the past but car didn’t start as smooth. I’ve been using Valvoline Extended Protrction recently and cold starts have been smooth and quick. However, I just did 2 autox events and 1 track day. 4,100 miles later, I changed the oil and burned a full quart or maybe quart and half of oi. I pour the full 5 quarts in and car calls for 4.4qt. Only around 3.5qts came out. I’m looking at different oils that have lower NOACK so it doesnt burn as much. Possibly may try LiquiMoly Molygen.
Let us know the results of the liqimoly
@ if I remember I will. Read some reviews people sayin it doesn’t burn as much.
Be carefull with the mag ive had mine for less then a box of ammo and the mag broke
Seems kinda Chinsy
Looks good to go in straight wall states. I had a 350 and 450 at one time but my state doesnt have those regs. So went back to 223 remington. 🎉🎉 let the naysayers fuss. 223 is plenty for whitetail. And no meat wasted. I hate that. We can use any rifle here. 🎉🎉
Nice…I always thought a 243 would be good as well for deer
I shot mine the other day for the first time exact setup as yours and it did the same thing. Not so sure about being bore sighted
Interesting…at least they are consistent…lol. Must have something out of calibration at the factory
Also not quite sure on how good the weaver scopes are either lol
Motul 8100 eco clean test? :)
Possibly…my limited research is telling me that’s it’s just another overly priced option though
Almost three times the cost per round as 308. Yea, sure, that’s “budget”.
You can’t shoot a 308 deer hunting in shotgun zone areas…lot of places are allowing these new straight walled cartridges.
@@whatyaknowjoe67 correct so just use a shotgun. or a ml and save a small fortune on a gimmick gun that doesn't do anything the other two dont! these new cartridge's might have a place but a (budget) isn't one of them!
You will not find an equivalent shotgun scope combo cheaper. And these new rifle rounds shoot much flatter.
@@josephlyson3896first three places I looked online didn’t even have 400 legend ammo. But every type of shotgun or 308 ammo in abundance.
@@ghettosled1976same thing happened when the 450 bushmaster came out. Now they are everywhere
Doesn't dig enough.
How deep you planting your corn and beans??
I also use it for marking my rows
You have those wear metals in your samples probably from using regular gas in your GDI’s without enough cleaner, especially with a turbo you should use premium
You will always have wear material regardless. Object of test was to compare oil brands. The Jeep is non-turbo
I'm thinking of adding Zmax,is that a good idea?
I don’t think there is a need…could create more problems? Engines today are highly sofisicated
@@whatyaknowjoe67 thanks,I wasn't sure.
This is very informative, I appreciate the video! However you're comparing pennzoil Ultra Platinum which is their best offering vs valvoline advanced synthetic which is their "mid level" offering. A more fair comparison I feel would have been to use valvolines highest offering which is their best "extended protection" or even "restore and protect" both of those are more in line with PUP as far as what they market and would likely yield even Closer results. This particular valvoline oil is inline with the regular Pennzoil Platinum. Just my two cents!
You’re correct.
I bought the ZT HD 48" with the Kohler engine a few months ago. I was aiming for the Kawasaki engine, but the Kohler was available. My dealer told me that in his 30 years of selling zero turns, as long as you keep your engine properly serviced, he has not seen any difference in reliability between the two engines. So I got the Kohler engine. In fact, not only is the Kohler engine cheaper than the Kawasaki, but it is also 2 horsepower higher than the Kawasaki for the same mower. I'll take that extra power with my hills.
Keep in touch and let us know how it holds up. Surprised it has 2 more HP…I have had any concerns with HP on mine so far…so yours should be a beast
Plz test Castrol Edge black bottle.
