Hey, I saw that you took the dip off, did the plasti dip sprayed by the avanti spray come off it self or you meant to remove it because you did not like it? Also I have great paint on this vehicle do you think it’s worth it to buy the Avanti electric spray gun for dipping whole car?
I peeled it because I wasn't happy with the end results.. I really over did it with the sun burst flake. Otherwise I would of left it.. the avanti sprayed well. BUT If I was to do it again. I'd buy the DYC sprayer. The avanti did have some flaws. Where as the Dyc sprayer I hear has none since it's meant to spray dip.. dip is definitely worth spraying if ur doing it yourself. Save yourself some money tho. Buy the black dip, then the top coat. And mix your own pearls into it to make the color u want. Will be cheaper that way
@@vanni_doestv4516 thanks! Great help and I love the video bro
That's awesome man. Love watching your progress with the ETM
Appreciate that! This namco set up will be my last for a while. As it's going to serve as both portable and etm for whenever I desire to switch. Will be more focused on work after this. Has been fun tinkering with them.
Absolutely incredible.
Thank you! Work in progress!!
Are you running hot water ?
Hot tap water in this video.
@@vanni_doestv4516 But how do you use it Where do you get it from?
Is this a 2 or a 3 inch in the front
Why are you sanding without a block? Thats the simplist way to show ur a noob
Sorry you feel offended bud, You must of missed the part where I said this was solely an experiment and not intended to be perfected.
Did you prespray only and just water in the tank?
Yes pre spray with electric sprayer, pure water in tank
@@vanni_doestv4516What chemicals did you prespray with?
@@PNWTraveler odoban 3 in 1. With oxy.
I purched two of these in food working condition for $40. I still use them when I want to do a deep cleaning of carpets
Personally, I prefer a 175 floor machine. Nothing deep scrubs better than that imo. Since I got my 175 I hardly touch my host
For machines like this with crap motors is it possible to just crank the voltage to compensate?
Nevermind just remembered it’s only a 3.5 stroke
Normally with crappy machines, you really can't do anything to compensate. If u crank the voltage. It will still perform choppy at higher speed. And then cause more trauma to the skin. If the machine doesn't perform well at low voltage chances are it womt differ at higher voltage
@@vanni_doestv4516thank you, my brain just thought it being fed more power would translate abit but I guess if the needle speed and power are genuinely 2 different things 😩 time to save for a bishop wand
Just found your video. My question is: I have a single stage job that I did on my restoration project about a year ago. It looks pretty good but I really want to apply clear coat for that SHINE. The paint has obviously cured for a year so I'm not really worried about reactions. But, I have polished the paint in the past year. Do I need to scuff the single stage for the clear coat to adhere or am I good just cleaning it thoroughly and shooting the clear? Thanks!
Must scuff down to adhere. Only time you can apply without scuffing is within the specified recoat window. Which sometimes ranges from 15min- 12 hrs
salute the hustle - hopefully you still pushing strong💪🏿💯love 2 ya! keep it going💯🔥
Still pushing brotha! Thank you!!
Great results
Thank you!!
What were the first two machines vacums you used?
First one is a shark vacuum navigator. The 2nd is a host CRB
never get to see the cfx zx
14:40 you can see the set up
@@vanni_doestv4516nice set up and great work nights
Awesome
What's the hose and connection on side of Bissell
Installed an APO. Connected to waste tank.
@@vanni_doestv4516 OK, I;M stupid. What is APO and why, walk me through it
could you use a floor wand hooked up to a rug doctor?
I'm sure you can, but theres not much vacuum coming out of that machine to run hose into a wand. You're better off with the suction out of the rug dr. Nozzle.
@@vanni_doestv4516 gotcha, thanks for the reply!
Dude. You are the most self reliant person I’ve come across on TH-cam. It’s amazing to see.
I truly appreciate that!!
Looks good
Thank you!!
What product did you use 😮👍
I'm pretty sure I used green dragon with a boost of oxy
why would you put equipment in a room you haven't vacuumed, pre treated & agitated ??
Because absolutely nothing will happen.... notice the floor machine didn't even have an attachment. It is impossible to disinfect the carpet with just misting pre spray. Even the "steam" most carpet cleaners claim will sanitize carpets does not. If you look at my older videos you can see I'm a professional tattoo artist. We learn sterilization, To properly sterilize you must heat to a certain pressure point. Cannot do that with carpet. Chemicals can sanitize but impossible to get it on evenly through so much fibers. The tools have to touch the carpet eventually, so you do a cleaning process after
I’m wondering how much downward pressure from the tool you’re losing in exchange for a larger pad driver.
It's definitely boging down, the pressure is mainly for agitation which happens with the brush prior. This step is solely with a pad to clean/extract. When wet enough and using a glider it works good.
I need one of those
Bro, I loved your setup. Great job. I would like a kind of list or a video talking about your full setup. Congratulations 👏
Thank you! I'll be making a more detailed video soon and provide my expenses
Can you make a list of everything in the setup? Seems to cost the same as a porty lol
I will make a more in depth video later... most of the stuff I already had. And majority of things I bought used on offer up. Such as the vacuum booster I found for a steal for $100. If I hadn't found that, I would of built my own out of a sump basin and put the same sump pump inside it instead of the shop vac.. the vacs were the most expensive part at $500 for the pair, BUT after messing with different vacs, you'll be plenty satisfied with other vac set ups at lower price.. off the top of my head I beleive it's no more than $1200.. but as an etm. Running over 150ft of hose effectively
My god that's disgusting 🤢 do they walk through the house in muddy boots or something
Most people don't vacuum daily, but in most cases, its the puppy messes. If people vacuumed daily though therr wouldn't be much dirt to turn into dark spots when liquids spill
Thats amazing man. Keep up good work!
Thank you!!
I like your setup.
What vac booster was that?
Cfx dual 5.7 2 stage
@@vanni_doestv4516 I have questions, what did you do with the boxes and that shop vac? lol I think I know I need confirmation. You had a vacuum hose to one and a solution hose to another?
@shawnsturgeon1014 bottom box 2 vacs, box with fittings dual water pumps. One 160psi, another adjustable 800psi. 3rd box is purely for storage.. bottom box connects to exhaust side of shop vac. Shop vac can only handle up to dual 3 stage. Anything more powerful and the vac crushes.
Man!!!! I can't wait to see another video explaining how you made this. I have been looking for a poor man's way to do this. Thought only option was a 55 gal barrel. Thanks for sharing!!
Why crb after words?
Just for grooming. . I no longer leave patterns tho. Now I like to Rake it evenly... but the crb is nice for leaving patterns.
When going downhill, put in lower gear like 4-5 gear on Cruise Control BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY Drive it in SPORT MODE. It charges the battery to full faster. Also, drive it in SPORT MODE on flat roads as well. Idling is when I have a problem with my 2017 Optima Hybrid doing the same thing. I am replacing the Hybrid Battery with a new one(Not OEM but has a 3-year warranty. Hopefully, that does the trick for me. I am at 115,000 miles BUT the engine was replaced FREE of CHARGE under Warranty at 99,600 just making the cut of 100K.
We got our battery replaced free, but not before I had to call corporate and start a claim. Dealership wanted yo charge us 28,000 because apparently the transmission, engine ND hybrid battery were done....while they had it in their shop, a rat went inside and chewed the main wire harness. Car was totalled. Turned into a 10k repair which the vehicle insurance would cover. But man, that kia dealership was the worse. Love the optima too. Very comfortable and great on gas..

truly impressive!!!! that bissell did great with the angry lemon and prescrub ….
Wow!!! Excellent job!!
Thank you!
How is the pressure washer holding up with the heat?
I haven't used it much since I got a cfx ranger that had a 1200psi built in pump.
where's the prevac
What solution did you have in your 175 and bissell? Did you prespray?
Yes I pre sprayed using angry lemon and oxy powder, same thing in my 175 tank And extracted with just hot tap water. No solution rinse.
@@vanni_doestv4516 thanks! I have a bissell but I don't have a 175 because I'm not sure which one to get. The one with a tank looks pretty good!
great job bro, been waiting on the upload
Thanks for standing by!!! 🙏🙏
Clever! But wire that to a battery. There’s a knockoff brand for dewalt batteries that you can wire to your pump and you might get 4 hrs/battery. Just my thoughts but I like this. I never thunk of it lol.
It's wired direct to the outlet. Been using it hard non stop. No issues. Has auto switch on/off
@@vanni_doestv4516 it’s cool! Thanks for sharing.
Might as well use a pump sprayer
Why go from automatic 160psi sprayer with 5 gallon res to a manual one?
Used the pet one and it transformed my carpets!
I would like to buy the newer pet version soon. I like the colors better and the look of the handle
Please ditch the crappy Shark, and get a Aerus Electrolux or a Kenmore canister with a motorized stair tool, Turbo brushes on stairs are more work than their worth, and they don't clean that well
I eventually play on upgrading vacuums. Stopped using the turbo brush. And just use the same carpet head to do the stairs. Works great.
Back in the 90’s, my old man restored a 1970 Holden premier. When he painted it, he used acrylic as that’s all he’s ever used. He sprayed 2 coats of colour, then a coat of 50/50 colour and clear, then a coat of 30%colour 70% clear, then a couple of straight clear coats. Wet rubbed/colour sanded it and polished it and The thing looked amazing. Had a lot of depth and won a trophy for best restored.
This thing looks nice I have the dragonhawk X5 and like it, it’s a 4mm stroke now I’m looking at this or the flip
Do you think u would have kept it if you didn't apply the clear and just left the red or did the red not come out rite from sitting to long I wanna paint my cutlass with koi orange just to try it out but i want to get a good sprayer if I don't get the dyc one they sale which I prob should idk but I think u did good could have been better needed more material just keep going add ir educate yourself don't be scared to lay that clear on get away from ot all for 15 20 min however long come back wet it give it another whoever long to dry again come back kill it with that wet wet and flakes but don't get to many flakes to clog that gun if u was doing red u could of got away with a Mico 0.04 metal flake and a silver 0.04micro or just used one instead and been good but nice job looks kool needed mote red and mor clear and u would have knocked it out I noticed certain techniques u tried like with the flake and clear on that hood instead of the 50/50 overlapping like normal and let ne ask u this would u do that again on the hood with flake and clear again or next time same situation with enough product to do the job rite or would u have just overlapping 50 50??? But good shit bro wish me luck might go ahead a buy this koi orange from the website trying to get more then 10 percent off though lol 20 I'd be n rite now but in still also trying to research and by the rite sprayer because if I do it I wanna make this ls swapped cutlass souped up on custom rims qa1 suspension all that I wamt it looking good although I Also wondering if you can use a regular clear gallon or better and actually seal a plstu dip j9b with regular clear and help spray gun if so I got some dope ass orange flake and gold pearl that would look killer might just have to see
I ended up painting this car black. The video foe that is in my channel as well. What I didn't like was the orange hue that the flakes gave it. And I normally mist on the flakes or pearls in cross hatch pattern to get even distribution. But it was just to big flake to burry it with the top coat, and to orange. I would definitely go with the dyc gun, it's built to spray this stuff and isn't very expensive. I only went this route to scratch that curiosity itch...I will be dipping again in the future but right now it's very hot out so ima wait till it cools down this year to start painting again
Good results but those carpets are filthy😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Where did you get that carpet wand & and where did you buy that pressure washer from as well? Looks really good. Can you give me the fittings you have put on there trying to see if I can buy something like that…??.👍👍
