Better have your zynns or vape on standby for a tip! 😂
The CV axles were never a problem. It was always the inner axle seal that allowed gear oil into the steering knuckle. Easiest way to check was to remove a bottom bolt from the steering knuckle. If a CV boot was ripped, gear oil would show up there as well.
I freaking love the sound of a diesel
Awesome brother.
Gregg wants you back , I'm glad you doing well. F 1st honda
Welcome to the world of Super Singles and CTIS! The concepts were a PITA.
We're on our way
What is that gorgeous sounding bike? Is that a Ducati?
Any idea what the music is called at 7:55?
What an idiotic thing to do😆
Sounds like somebody doesn’t know how to do a burnout
Michelin Power RS🎉
C00l
“You got like 3 feet of air that time” 😂
These deuce and a 1/2 smite be slow, but they are bad a**They will go just about anywhere. You have the balls to hang on to
This guy looks like he likes his steak well done
😆
The lawn tractor is going to break it's gearbox trying to pull that weight
Well it didn’t. Got all my gravel spread
@Elliott_Ray You were lucky, because those transaxles aren't built for towing heavy loads
great videos, Elliot. I am actively looking for either an M35 or M923. any recommendations as to where to get one , reasonably priced? I've looked at many of the "dealers" (C&C, Plan B, Midwest, etc.) and they're either too pricey or none in stock.
You remind me of my son.
I also own a Deuce and a Half. 1972. I Love my Truck, I call her Sandy.
Nice work
Hey thanks man!
That is a 2 /1/2 ton M35A3
Correct
These trucks came to replace the M35A2, the only thing is that they don't have power steering and the brakes still using brakes fluid
I wish it had power steering. Would have made my road trip across the country much easier on my forearms
M35A3 automatic transmission with fluid and air brakes,I just to fix those in the army 😊
Miss seeing this unit all the time and will never forget the stories I have to tell my kids about my buddy elliot with a 2 and a half ton military truck!!!
Sickkk the Deuce and a half made light work of that! 🤙🏽
Get rid of does axeles and tonka tires, to much weigth.
M35A3 automatic transmission
correct!
I drove a m35a3 towbar pulling a m820 5 ton Expando Van approx 250 miles. Not the smartest thing we ever did… The 3116 cat did not like it but I was really surprised the trans never got warm. I wish whoever designed the repower options for the m35a3 program would have picked a trans other than the 1545 Allison with only a 1:1 for top gear as the approx 50 mph top speed empty is brutal when coming from an m35a2 that will run 59mph at 2600rpm even with the smaller 9:00x20 tires or approx 18% faster.
Woah that must have gotten a lot of attention!! Yes I really wish the transmission had a 5 speed automatic. They had the technology…but military contracting goes to the lowest bidder
They loud slow obnoxious but so much fun to drive. Out of all the vehicles I drove in the Army they where my favorite. Want to get one here soon. No where to keep it at the present. Good luck and have a blast.
Thank you and hope you get one soon!
my favorite was what i drove, M113, liked the deuce though
Really surprised this didn’t get More Views…Trips like this make life worth Living, my Utmost Respect to you for making it happen. I’m truly Inspired!👍🏼🇺🇸
Thanks man appreciate the kind words!
How did you mount a trailer hitch to the truck?
The Hitch comes with eight, massive Grade-8 bolts, took me I think 3 drills bits and a lot of drilling to get through the 1/4” steel
They have wawas down south now ?
Well in Virginia they did
Hi Elliott, is it easy to work on your truck? Thinking of getting one but want to drive it instead of bringing it to the shop. Please let me know your experience.
Having prior mechanical experience is a must. No shop will work on this, so you end up having to rely on the facebook community and all your skills you have acquired in life.
Bro I know you 😂
With your youtube channel...can't say I do
nice Area....
it is!
Its addicting riding a 2 stroke. I won't go back to 4 stroke ever. 2 stroke makes me smile more. I have a 2021 Xtrainer.
Interesting! I am still thinking about getting a two-stroke. Getting into 4 stroke MX bikes recently. More videos to come
Your deuce videos are awsome dude, you should do a walk-through of the vehicle if you still have it. Would love to see a full tour of the thing and how it works.
I had a 1971 M35 A2 with a LDS five ton multi fuel. W/W an went to all of the East coast gatherings. Scott north west conn
High rpm Wrong The xtrainer is a torque monster built for beginners, novices and women I bought one for my wife and she is head over heels in love with it I love it too but I’m 6’1” and 220 so it’s too small for me
what mods do you need to run the 5ton wheels ?
Why would you want to run 5 ton wheels, the m35a3 wheels are the same as the 5 ton wheels, you can put 395's and 14r20 on those rims.
@@staym925 i didnt know that at the time
As long as you get rid of the Michelin Exploders
which one did you like best?
The Beta 350
Chrome sockets are not made for impacts. You may want to upgrade your impact, glorified Black and Deckers don't do the job.
Chromies suck for impacts, but as I stated I was aware and it was the only socket I had on hand at the time. I now have a large variety of impact sockets sizes 30 and up. expensive!
Recently bought a 23’, nothing but smiles 😎
thanks alot for NO INFO!!!!!!!!!! douche bags.
2 Stroke is a way of life. Just got an Xtrainer myself, coming off a 300rr Race. So far so Good!
I know this will go viral, I’m just glad I got to see it before it did. Amazing work my boy 🫡
So what did you think of the suspension. The 2 strokes that you rode were RR , standard suspension. The 350 was a Race edition with KYB suspension.
did you pay to do this or get invited?
It was free simply sign up ahead of time
Ummmm... I think I now know why they're called Beta Bikes 🤘
Is this bike faster than a yz125?
I’m not sure, never ridden a YZ125
About the same depending on apples to apples. The XTrainer is mostly low to mid, YZ mid to high. The Xtrainer is de-tuned. Open it up and it’s as good as any of the 3002t. Then suspension will be a problem, fixable but more money. I know, I got a 21 and love it. I’m old and short though!
It's kind of an apples to oranges comparison since the bikes are built for 2 different purposes. I've only seen one Dyno graph of an Xtrainer and it made low to mid 30s. About the same peak power as a stock 125 but the X was designed to be a torque monster with smooth power delivery through through the rpms without the typical hard hit. Where it excels is the tight technical spots rather than running flat out wide open like an mx bike and the suspension and chassis setup reflects that.
@@supercomp65 exactly…its made to go in the really tight/slow stuff without stalling and forcing the rider to constantly use the clutch. If you’ve ever had to do that for an extended period of time it makes riding the tight trails torture. My favorite enduros were the late 70’-early 80’s Husky’s.
