There's nothing wrong with children asking questions. You get ready to give correct answers at all times. Not every Child raised in children is timid. Timidity is not a virtue Let's bring a balance of being available for our children it's a big sacrifice we all have to make either home or abroad. Things are getting bad all over the world. Let's buckle up
Waoh!! Just stumbled on your channel and I can 100% agree! I think in my case, I’m just waiting for us to get our citizenship then we can go back to Nigeria for secondary school education. That teenage age is the scary part, I just keep praying for God’s guidance. Canada will still be our 2nd home, he will visit as often as he wants but I need him to have that balance. I never felt unsafe in Nigeria and I’ve visited twice in 2years already. I’m just working on businesses and things that can translate even in Nigeria. He can return for university infact I’d prefer university in Europe or Asia. May God help us all🙏🏾🙏🏾
All thise children doing Yahoo Yahoo and girls doing olosho in Nigeria, where they raised in abroad? Just asking?
Thank you for this. Its an eye opener🎉.
I can't take my children to where they will become gay! God forbid I am an African. There are things we don't take !
Watery Mouth Here In This Cold Weather Here oooo!!!!!!!!!! I rememeber oforoooo
This is my greatest fear about relocation 😢
I have been looking for videos like this since myself and my husband have been talking about relocating and we have been making some preparations towards that. Like you said no place like home and I have been experiencing that home sickness thing for some time now and I know it is time to go back after 16 years in America. I am so glad I found your channel. Your baby girl is so adorable by the way.
Good morning ma...Kudos to your 2025 plan...Safe trip
How do I join the group
It's happening now in Nigeria Parents just need to be more intentional about raising Children cos most Parents don't even have what it takes to raise kids.
Three year old today in Nigeria will question you. Thank you for this the major thing is to pray more and pay attention. Cos all these things happen in Nigeria today.
Puff puff is good for the weather❤
😋😋😋
For the course of study in the uk dependants.have been stopped.. that was the only motivation
No child was born with being stubborn or rebelous. They learn by what they see and experience at home with people that have influenced them. Parents should not use the same hand to raise all their kids. Children are different . Some children naturally are obidient some you need to keep talking to them and engaging them back to back. Understand who your child is , some children are naturally expressive while some need you to bring the words out of their thoughts. When you understand your child parenting wouldn't be hard.. we all must make money but balance it. Most single parents didn't plan to be single, its hard raising children alone, but with prayers and being intentional you can scale through. Another major problem in homes is comparison and favouritism. Kids can see who you treat better this pushes them away to seek love and attention outside. Make your home a beautiful haven for your family. May God help and guide us.
God will be with you ma, you will thank God for this decision 😊
What is the whatsapp number to join the group, please? I enjoyed these conversations. While we struggles to have better life for ourselves, it must not be at the expense of that of our children 😊
Pls join via the link below. Thanks
God knows am taking them back for secondary school...i dont mind staying with them there. After secondary school they will come back for university
It is neither here nor there. You can only give what you have. To train up a child the way he should... We need to depend on the Holy Spirit 100% to do the training that will yield the result of not departing from the way when they grow up.
Looking forward to returning back home with my family soon ❤. Love your videos ma’am 🥰🥰♥️
Thanks 🙏🏽 watching from Russia
Madam, from your last story of the shock from that mother is main reason why raising children here is different from children from Africa- culturally value! The culture in the western world is totally different from our Africa culture. Now, it takes God’s grace and parent’s personal responsibility to raise a child. If I have a second chance, I will love to raise my children in both cultures but more of Africa not to loose them to western civilization. After all, the reason we all raise our children is to either continue our legacy and cultural heritage. My fear for all African parents abroad is that if we don’t take strategic steps, we will end up loosing them to western civilization and culture. I pray for God’s help…. It is well!!!
I would have advised you to continue with the business of sending and selling your products to Nigeria. I am trying to understand your motivation. Perhaps you have "access" to government circles, ensuring round-the-clock security. Even if your children attend the best universities in Nigeria, are those degrees widely recognized for accessing employment opportunities outside the country? I understand that your decision may be driven by a desire for cultural integration and to help your kids connect with their roots. However, one could argue that you may not have fully considered the current security and economic challenges in Nigeria, particularly the fluctuating value of the Naira. That said, it would be "unpatriotic" of me to suggest you shouldn't return to enjoy your homeland. All I can do is wish you the very best. Perhaps it is a calling for you.
God bless the lady who you read her stories at first . Nigeria is the best place to raise kids
I’ve watched a few of your videos. We were led to homeschool all our kids .We are 11 years in ,I first didn’t want to do it .By God’s grace I knew God knew better .Now the things I see here in the Uk ,I can only thank God for obeying and my husband obeying too .We still have challenges though we see them quickly and intervention can be applied by God’s grace .
Home is where the heart is! Take this aphorism with a grain of discernment. 😁 In the journey of life, you go through many different phases; discernment is paramount.
I will join the Whatsapp group now, this is my first time on your channel and I'm glued already. You just mentioned everything happening to me. I have teenage children too and it's been very stressful. I can't even do more than 36hours in a week again, if I'm not in my husband must be in, God will see us through sis.
Hi Akomolafe family ! Great content you got there. I think all this channel needs is a little push to get things moving. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.
As for me, my kids will graduate in Nigeria before plans to travel, if they must. That is why the course they study is very important. So that the good opportunities are not limited to japa. Money should not only be the consideration for travelling. African parents are having a hell of challenges with their kids. But they pretend on social media that all is well abroad. Gabrielle and lesbobo don take over. African culture and society are priceless.❤❤❤
I love this family channel. How do i join the whatsapp chat grp
There is a link pinned on the group page, pls join via that. Thanks
I studied in the UK and lived in the Netherlands, but 6 years ago, i decided to move back to Nigeria and life has been very GOOD to me and family. We own our house here and a business - although it was a bit rough in the beginning, but life is very sweet here right now. People shouldn't be scared to move back at all. Nigeria is the BEST!
God bless you
At old age we will all regret this japa because none of the children are coming back to see you in Nigeria when you retire back to Nigeria..Probably your generation will end in abroad. You can’t eat your cake and still have it..There are advantages and disadvantages to every decisions taken..
👍
Hello I it chanced on your channel. Please I need help on applying to the social worker role. I have first degree in HR working as a carer now. How do I transition into this role and which school is best for it ?
Hi, pls kindly join our WhatsApp group via the link on our page.
Majority of what you have said is applicable anywhere and Children go astray anywhere as long as parents are unwilling to make sacrifices. This has always been the case even before our parents’ time. Boarding schools, delegated parenting and career demands are part of the issues. The ONLY difference is that in the U.K., the government has control of the children not the parents. Nigerians copy the low class people. If you move with the cultured ones, they train their children exactly the way cultured people here train theirs The advice you have given is VERY applicable moreso here. I saw a girl sagging her skirt in Lagos 2 weeks ago.
.
Once I hear that line 'everybody wants to live abroad ', 🎉🎉
The economy in Nigeria is much too volatile, unpredictable, and insecure. 90% of businesses don’t work, or there isn’t much trust with staff. I’ll encourage you to relocate gradually.
Yes u are right but buying lands cannot be a shortage in naija unless if it is a dispute ones
God I hate it when children born of African descents cant even speak their local dialect & Lost .
Relocating because of children. By the time most of them will become ardent LGBTQ believer and become switched off from the typical African culture the West secretly admire, that is when the mistakes gets clear
Allaah ☝️
well said

Nice presentation. Educational...

Not you people s fault,if not Africa especially Nigeria that is the way it is, that is making you people to use your country to make youtube video to make money. Now which is better even educationwise?
I learnt a lot from this video. Almighty will favour you all with your plans.

By God’s grace, I was raised very well in Africa. Because of the way I was brought up, by God’s grace today my life is in the right standing . Children borne or raised abroad sometimes go astray because of peer pressure from friends. Disrespectful, lawless, etc We as parents are trying our best to raise our children in the fear of God, one of my daughters was going astray, but by God’s grace, I stood my ground in prayers on my knees for my daughter. Today, by God’s grace, the Lord intervened on our behalf and our daughter has gotten on the right track. Personally, I sincerely prefer raising my children in Africa than raising them abroad.
