Check out The Old Spaghetti Factory in the same area. Very cool place supposedly haunted and great food. My son worked there and is sensitive and says yes, it is haunted.

You don't need a region free UHD player, as all the UHD discs in the whole world are region free, except for a few mistakenly locked exceptions that are listed on collector forums online. Blu-rays would be region free too, if HD DVD had won, and all the companies that supported HD DVD initially, like Warner, Universal, and Paramount, still don't region lock their BDs. So all you need to get is a region B Europe player for those BDs outside of US (Canada is always the same region btw, A for BDs and 1 for DVDs), that's region free for DVDs, but one that has the ability to manually set a region for DVDs, like 2 or 3, or 1, not one that's constantly set to 0, as there are quite a few RCA discs that check region coding, and if it doesn't match, as on a 'Multiregion' 0 player, it won't play. First Toshiba HD DVD players could switch regions for DVDs from the remote, they can be found cheap now on eBay.

I think that has a spiritual sequel called 199-(something) I believe that film is a lot more fun.

You can get a Panasonic UB450 4K player for $165 and a region free blu-ray player for about $100 nowadays. I just keep both hooked up.

Since that movie is no longer your favorite of the Evil Dead movies. 🤔 oh wait I have the steelbook already in my collection. 😜 Kidding aside, yes you only have so much room until you move. the only i spit on your grave movie that's kind of worth watching is the 2010 one and maybe the sequel to that. but the original, deja vu, and the second sequel to the remake are not worth watching.

One of my favorite made for TV horror movies is Gargoyles from 1972. Loved it as a kid and I watched it last Summer (I think) and I still loved it. It was one of Stan Winston's earliest movies. I always root for the Gargoyles because the humans are evil. It's on Letterboxd too.

While still not cheap 220 Electronics has fair prices on 4K region-free players in the $200 range. I got my old Sony UBP X-700 from them, and it was only around 70 dollars over what the regular retail price is. The Panasonic UB820 is also an option now that it goes on sale around Black Friday. You can buy that player from most regular online retailers and use the top menu trick to get around region coding. PS: You should give Class of 1999 a try. It’s a completely different film from 1984. It’s basically “what if your teachers were actual terminators?”

I actually never saw the remake of let the right one in, I only watch the original version lol that’s two horror remakes thag chloe Grace moretz was in that suck! Really, Carnage was in “Bay Cove?” Okay. Famous thumbnail for your anti haul! 👍 Spider verse does look comic book style comes to life, so later if I might watch living animated of the dead, but I probably look grumpy for watching that movie.

Grab yourself a cheap PS4 to play different region Bluray and DVD. It's not 4k i don't think but it's cheap and you can play a lot of different regions.

View askew is his production company from back in the day and all his movies are connected! Clerks is the best and has its own trilogy but I recommend all the Jay and Silent Bob movies! Nice! Anna Faris is great, she's truly one of one.. I don't know if you've seen it but Smiley Face is her best performance, it's brilliant stuff she's so committed, it's a stoner comedy and one of the most underrated in the genre.. Kevin Smith was really vital to the indie movement in the 90s.. he created his own universe, so a lot of his films have the same actors playing the same recurring characters.. he's more about dialogue and less about style.. honestly not sure what you'd think about his filmography.. even though I'd start with Clerks, I think Zack and Miri Make a P*rno would potentially be more your speed, it's classic Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks and also has Justin Long with one of the cameos ever, seriously.. but it's a wild film, not sure if you'd love it or hate it haha..
