    Hello, my name is Jessica from south Florida, I was wondering if you could help I have a Rubicon 2024 all stock I was wondering about purchasing wheel and tire package Can I go with 37”s a 3.5 lift with out having to regear? Also I hear people taking about 4.10s. What is that. In advance Thank you for any advice ! 🙏

    • @Ali_Mansour_Editor

      @@hotjesssica954 you can make that setup work lift and tire wise. If you don’t change the differential gears, your transmission won’t use 7th and 8th gears frequently on the interstate. You are better off planning to have the vehicle gears changed when you do the lift. A 4.88 gear set will make it close to stock in terms of power and fuel economy. A 5.13 gear will give it more power. I’m not sure how far south you are, by Roco 4x4 in Miami is a great shop that could help you with your build.

    First, I love your content. You do an awesome job describing pros & cons as well as how to videos. I agree with you on most things, but I'm going to have to disagree with the flares. True the off-roading will cause paint chips, IF one doesn't either DIY place clear paint protection on the painted flares or have it done professionally. I know this cost, but I think at least placing this on the flares & I also put it on the hood as well. The problem I have with the black plastic flares is the chips still show & there is no protection you can do for those, PLUS my biggest issue is the fading of the plastic over time. Anyway, that is my two cents. I think placing clear PPF is the way to go

    • @Ali_Mansour_Editor
      @Ali_Mansour_Editor 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This Wrangler had the paint protection on the flares. After a year of wheeling , it was full of holes and dirt was getting underneath it. The same thing is happening on my 392 Wrangler. The flares on my Gator Gladiator are the black plastic ones and have small chunks missing from them from years of driving on gravel. That doesn't look great, but it's not as noticeable as it would be on a painted flare. I agree with you completely that the plastic fades (and too rapidly at that). I just haven't had good enough luck with the PPF to put any faith in it.

    • @JeepTJ1999
      @JeepTJ1999 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Ali_Mansour_Editor I did my friend who owns a shop apply more or extra PPF on my fenders & hood. I will say my 2020 Gladiator is not my primary crawler. I overland with it but it still sees a fair amount of off-road. I also replaced the PPF twice since owning it. My 99 TJ that I built from the ground up for rock crawling, I Raptor-lined it. AB’s it has done great. I’m hoping to add a 392 to my lineup of I can find the right deal with the car market going down. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

    Really enjoy your videos. I’ve got the 2” dynatrac lift and currently on 35s. It is a nice set up. Want to make the step up to 37s and know there will be some rubbing unless I tweak a few things. I’ve already got the 2” rear bump stop. Could add an additional 1/2” there. Also Do you feel that chopping your fenders would completely eliminate the chance for rubbing ? Or will some body cutting be necessary? TIA

    • @Ali_Mansour_Editor
      @Ali_Mansour_Editor 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It would probably work fine. If you end up, disconnecting the sway bar off-road, I would imagine you might rub a little bit more on the inner portion of the front fender flare and potentially a small bit on the backside of the bumper. However, I don’t think it would be something that would damage anything.

      You can ride every trail there on the Surron with the exception of the very front side of the Daniel trail. It’s just too rocky and not that much fun at that spot. I would probably start with the Lakeview Trail. It’s pretty mellow and then work your way around from there. Some of the trails are currently closed until August 1, so that’s gonna limit you a bit.

    I don't understand this. Many people say to pull the F42 fuse, and then to take the black cable with the 13mm nut off of the ground of the battery and leave the other one on (the one with the smaller nut that takes both cables off).. And they say this disconnects the AUX battery and turns the ESS off.. but when I do this, my vehicle has no power when the cable that they say is the aux battery cable is not connected to the ground. I don't feel like going through all that work to take out the aux battery.. but I believe that my aux battery has died and is now draining my main battery. I could take it to the dealer and get it replaced but I am selling a lot of stuff on eBay and I don't want the hassle of a dead car and being unable to drive right now.

    • @Ali_Mansour_Editor
      @Ali_Mansour_Editor 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've never pulled the fuse. You do need to pull the AUX battery so you can attach the positive lead to the main battery. If your Jeep is 21 and newer, you will need to attach the ground from the Aux battery to the main battery as well. I've done this exact swap on multiple Jeeps and have been running this way for YEARS with no issue.
