INGREDIENTS
Filling
* 1 bunch silverbeet or rainbow chard - washed and chopped finely
* 250g baby spinach leaves
* 1 large brown onion - finely diced
* 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
* 1 tsp dried dill leaves
* 1/3 cup pine nuts (optional)
* 2Tbs olive oil
* Salt and pepper to taste
Cashew cream
* 1/2 cup raw cashews soaked in water for at least 1 hour
* 1/3 cup fresh basil leaves, or more to taste
* 2-3 tbsp lemon juice, to taste
* pinch of salt and pepper
* Water as needed to blend
Galette dough
* 1 1/2 cups almond flour
* ½ cup arrowroot starch
* ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
* 1/3 cup vegan butter or shortening
* 1 large egg - or flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tablespoons water) if you wish to keep it vegan

    I have this model and even 5 is not crispy.. needs to be done twice... Its only 800 watts...many are 1200 watts

    Great review. Reveals a lot of useful information that isn't clear from the product description itself. 5 minutes for one waffle is fairly long, so clearly the wattage is insufficient. I wouldn't like spending 20 minutes to bake only 4 waffles. This explains why professional waffle makers are higher wattage, but also significantly more expensive.

    I have the TEFAL EasyFry Classic EY201D. And every time I make French Fries (aka chips) or any other potato product with this air fryer, I don't use oil, because the food gets crispy, even without the oil. And what I love about my air fryer is that you can put the basket into the dishwasher.

    The number 1 would be great if you want to freeze the waffles for later (waffles freeze wonderfully) then when you want one or have guests then pull them out and put them in a toaster or toaster oven to finish browning them and they come out beautifully crispy and like you just made them.
