Consolidated 2 of my pension funds into my SIPP and went ALL in on Tesla Shares in 2019.. Shares increased 1492% over the past 5 yrs.. And will double again in the next 3 yrs.. Now retired aged 56. Funds are a safe bet but not a fast road to retirement.. Just investing in steady Eddie Walmart would have returned you 90% in the last year.. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE.

Great video and great advice. I’ve been mainly domestic for 4 years but slowly getting a few small to medium commercial jobs. Recently picked up some large commercial gutter vacuum jobs which is good and I don’t mind doing them if they feel right. I’ve walked away from a few jobs too. I was asked to quote some new build barns overlooking the sea. They were £3m each. The jobs were builders cleans. I walked away because I knew they would be a headache. Found out later someone had quoted £120 each for inside and out. 😂 😂

Spot on Sounds as though you are going steadily in the right direction 👍 Always trust your gut instinct It’s never wrong We never get involved in builders cleans anymore either as too problematic Plus builders generally I find are bad payers Funnily enough we only said no to one this week Probably a bloody nice bloke and a good payer But been stung too many times by builders over the years

Bully, good video, my two pence below: Theres a lot of sense in what your saying, however, all of the problems you mention are the same for every person that wants to build a significant business. We are domestic and small commercial and very profitable, the issue is its not really a business, it's a profitable job. If your business doesn't work with out you in it its not really a business. To build a business in any industry is headaches and putting out fires but in the end thats why you get paid well when you exit (subject to building something significant) . Domestic window cleaning rounds aren't worth much. No big company is going to come along and pay you well to take it of your hands. I also believe, its so low barrier to entry, anyone can compete with you almost immediately, which is something I don't like. (yes we all have loyal customers) Theres no right or wrong, if you want a job on your own terms and earn a decent living have a domestic window cleaning round. If you want to sell something for multi millions, unfortunately you have no choice but to go through all the pain of building a 'proper' business more than likely in the commercial world. I think you either need to stay small like you say or try and go big big. The middle ground is the bad place to be.

Thank you Qubics Couldn’t agree more🤟☀️ The formula I have put together ie using the Franchise method and regular investment into index funds will get you financial freedom overtime That formula suits my character and stress levels as having also bought & built a number of other businesses over the years (skip hire, event catering, promotions) I know personally I couldn’t cope with being a big affair.

The vid of the unit is about 1.5 days work no? What’s that half the job shown, 3 days work, 10k. Sounds pretty good to me. If you’re reach and washing it that is. Fair play had you of got it for 10 but I wouldn’t be at 10 for that! Nowhere near. maybe I need to up my prices!! 🫠 Half my work is commercial, some are big jobs. I’m a one man band. I’d do that sort of work all day long if I could. Yeah you may lose some at times, but overall it’s better paying and LESS hassle. Them sort of jobs don’t skip cleans and yeah, you may have to wait for payment, but as long as you’ve got money set aside and spend money wisely I don’t see the issue. Residential work can be a fucking nuisance at times dealing with knobs. IMO!

And at this stage I would target everything and see what happens, as this will get you up to speed as regards pricing up different types of buildings.
