I noticed you left the plastic retainer on the Bilstein shocks, at least on the rears, but I thought you were supposed to remove those?

I love that Chevy did this. I replaced my fob battery only a month ago and it started having issues again not detecting. Got stuck at the gas station and immediately knew to do this to start the car. Went home and replaced the fob battery again and it’s back to normal. Why does my fob battery die so quick?? Also if you need to get into the car with a dead fob, good thing it comes with a physical turn key to pop the trunk and pull the door release handle back there. The alarm will go off, but… at least you can get into the car and start it

If it's your first set of pads on that rotor you can't possibly wear those rotors down too far not to turn unless you wear past the pad and go metal to metal. You can turn those rotors I garuantee it. Min spec is 1.19 inches or something like that. Save some money, turn your rotors go with new pads.

Great video, I learned that MER is not charged to your gains, but to the entire NAV. I did an example with an Initial Investment of: $10,000 Annual Return Rate (before expenses): 6%, Management Expense Ratio (MER): 2%, and Time Period: 1 year. With 0% MER you'll end up with $10600. With a 2% MER you be left with $10400 after the MER is applied to the 10000. You'd lose $200 of your $600 of gains. It's actually even more considering the growth of the NAV over the course of the year. MER is damn robbery. I will be getting into a new fund because of this video. My current fund returns 7% on average with a 2% MER. Thanks for the video bro.

Mine would say no fob detected a couple years ago and I replaced the battery for the car and batteries in the fobs and I did something with putting the fob in the slot in glove box ,now yesterday it said no fob detected after I drove for 2 hours and turned it off in a drive thru just lucky I had the other fob in the back and it started after I got it from the back ,I ordered new batteries for the fobs so I hope it fixes my problem

I have done this very thing a number of times but it kept returning no matter what stuff I used. About 6 months ago I decided to try something a little more permanent and it seems to be working so well I decided to add a comment here. The spray lube fix works good and fast but trying my modification could be more permanent. It took me about 20 minutes to complete the fix. I removed the nut hold the shifter cable to the lever underneath the truck...it takes a 13mm wrench. Once removed, use a wire brush to remove the rust and corrosion buildup on both sides of the lever, from the nit, and from the shifter level connector. Then put a good coating of lithium grease on both sides of the connector, the steel lever, and the nut. Then reassemble (making sure the connector screw fits all the way through the square hole on the lever) and tighten. It's been 6 months so far without any sticking.

My C6 Grand Sport has three lights. I've tried this method at least 6 times. not only does this not work, now neither of my two remote openers that came with the garage door work or the opener in my 2022 Ram.

on a sidenote ... the + terminal of the battery is closer to the fender or closer to the engine? The car in the vid has the -ve terminal close to the engine block... but have seen other vids where the +ve terminal is closer to the engine... which is the factory correct way?

Good video - one concern. It look like the car was sitting on the hydaulic jack, and was not supported by a jack stand.

I've had other AT vehicles, some 20+ years old, and have never had this issue, but my '16 Tacoma binds up regularly. This is how I "fix it" until next time, but but after a few weeks or months, if I don't use the truck for a couple of days, I have to do it again. There has to be a solution.

Hi Kevin, I am a new c6 05 owner, and the first day after I parked the car in my yard after 2-3 starting and moving forward and backward , I decided to clean it. AFTER THAT THE CAR WON'T START ANYMORE. DASH NOT LIGHT ON AND NO ACCESSORIE MODE ONLY RED LIGHT ON THE BUTTON ,WHEN I PUSH IT LISEN RELAYS CLICK BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. Key fob ALSO NOT RESPONDING CENTRAL LOCKING NOT WORKING ,put in new batteries on the car and key fob but still not responding
