Very glad you enjoyed it, and you get the inside scoop, the series WILL be continuing! I'll post something about it on community tab shortly. I agree, even when it gets hectic, it's still a nicer, more chill feeling that it's not hardcore. I've even been considering an old school series of just play and post. minimal editing. I'm not sure if people would be interested in that style any more. it used to be so chill though.

So many things I see in the recipe book has some crazy back story or rabbit hole of ingredients that all involve a days long quest. Yea, there's definitely a lot more to see and do.

It certainly makes things more challenging! but it makes the world more livable for longer too I think. Shame it's so hard on the cpu.

@@microcosmgaming It's a pity that you didn't link which version of BetterMC you used, because unfortunately there are several of them :) I was just interested to know how CPU-intensive it would be, the last version I played ran pretty smoothly, even though my computer is no longer the latest, especially when it comes to my graphics card :)

@@Vardash mhm, version does make a difference. BMC2 Fabric v24 wasn't toooo hard on the cpu. I just upgraded to the latest version and had some trouble. All in all, it's better than it used to be. modded that is. Last time I tried it was pretty much impossible on a mid range system.

@@microcosmgaming Can I ask you what kind of system you have? I've just installed BMC2 v26.5 (Fabric) and my CPU AMD 5800x its just about 25%, my GPU (geforce 1080) is about 90% with 32 chunks render distance. Minecraft uses almost 12GB of RAM for that and I have over 100 fps with shaders and all resource packs. If I record with OBS now, my fps drops to about 90.

@@Vardash I'm running an i9-9820X with RTX 2080 and 64DDR4. It seems ok most of the time but has struggled with high entity counts, like the storage room with all the item frames. strangely once I replaced glow frames with non glow frames it freed it up quite a bit.

It was a close cut thing! That one fella hiding around the corner had me stumped.

Thank you! these comments help. I had a feeling I was missing some stuff in the overworld at least, so I DID end up having a little check on what I should be seeing. Turns out it's just the version I was using, which has to be fabric so I can use the recording mods I like to use. While I cant change to forge or even upgrade to the latest newest edition of fabric, I can ,and have, upgraded the version of the one I've been using, that will be in the next episode:)

Tbh, it's a bit too much of a challenge. I'd consider it broken at this point. Maybe there's a better way of getting around that supercedes elytra, so they're not prioritised, but if it's just waystones I'd be disappointed. I like a fly about!

Minecraft and LEGO are two sides of the same, imagination freeing, creative world. I think a lot of creative projects around the world are probably born of the seeds sown by one or both.

not 100% sure what you mean. different to the standard vanilla block textures? that will be a resource pack that I use called faithful 32x. you can get a lot of different packs for java minecraft.

I kinda went into a panicked argument with myself there didn't I. Still noone offered to pee on me, for better or worse. 3. Gazebo = Pergola in Aus, so that's what I was aiming at. glad you like it. Most of my builds will be functional to some extent, not all, but most, for the same reason. It's a lot of work to design, so it better be useful to me too lol.

Hey Jessica (Jess?, Jessi? Jessmonster?) , Ye I kinda wanted to show the madness that is my decision making for building a little by showing that wall process. normal red bricks might would have been just fine...I guess! or any number of other walls, or cobbled together cobble for that matter, but my eye settled on those silt bricks and it felt like that's what the area called for, so I had no choice lol. Same with the granite, though that didn't pose as much hassle in the making. Thanks, ye I kinda liked that little azalea touch too. It still feels like that path needs something else/different though. I'll probably revisit.

@ yeah I’m glad you included the process of making those silt walls in the video, it was really interesting to see that process and it made the payoff of the finished product so much more rewarding. I thoroughly enjoy your videos, you have a way of making an entertaining video while still being calming and aesthetically pleasing to watch. To answer your question- I’m used to being called anything to be honest, having one of those names with numerous nicknames everyone always picked whatever and I just got used to it. My username here is so old and I went traditional with my full name at the time, feels weird to change it after all these years. But when asked I go by Jess, shorten those syllables 😂 but if Jessica is easier I’ll still respond!

As is Dwane Johnson?😁 If you were in Aus you'd likely end up with a nickname like that...or a 'lengthened-shortened version of Jess' like Jezza or Jesso! Being that I live here but as you can hear, am still very much Irish in me roots, I'll stick with Jess (but I'll whisper Dwayne every now and then).
