The end of The Holy Grail always made me incredibly sad, especially as a child when I first encountered the movie. There was something heartbreaking about the shattered fantasy and the sadness of the passing of wonder and mystery to police arrest and sad men play acting. I would be hard pressed to watch it again even today. Just tugs my heartstrings in a particular way. I always felt its melancholy was genius as well as its comedic value.
