Awesome video brother. Happy New Year. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love and RESPECT
Much appreciated, you are the best!
Your 38 is in much nicer shape than half ass kustoms, Brents 38 Diamond T... the sister to this truck.
Thanks, we got pretty lucky finding this one. I'm not sure how it stayed as good as it is since it worked for a logging company.
👍👍
Thanks!
👍 Looking good, great work.
Appreciate the support! More to come.
Good, bad or indifferent, I'm sure the keyboard experts will disagree but for guy's like us with few tools and less experience,, I'd cut some strips that fit into the windshield channel and push them in and tack weld them about every half inch, the glass seal will keep out the leaks and it'll be somewhat solid again, just cut out the twisted and bent stuff so the new pieces set flat
I like the way you think! I'm always open to new ideas!
You might want to use your "Hoosier" isolators on the trans tunnel. I noticed it's touching. That's goin to rattle, and you'll wonder where it's coming from. :D Love the build though. Looking forward to more.
I ended up trimming it up a bit off camera. There is about 1.5 inch between the trans and floor.
👍great job
Appreciate the support! More to come. I've done the work now it's just trying to get the videos edited.
I was watching a video on TH-cam when I saw your channel. I noticed one thing: Your video views are decreasing. Then, I researched your channel and found that your video's SEO score is terrible. If you can do SEO-friendly things for your channel and videos then your TH-cam channel and videos will develop rapidly. If you want, I can help you grow your TH-cam channel. I have emailed you about this. I have said it in detail there, you can take a look at it.
Just found you. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for finding us! Hope you enjoy!
You might want to get rid of that steering box and put in a Vegas or corvair
Why is that? Just curious.
sweet rig
Thanks we have more videos on their way!
LOVE YOUR WORK CHAMP!! AUSTRALIA!🤍💙❤️💥💪
Thanks! It's cool to have support from all over the world. Keep rockin!
I dig the wheel, it's looking great, maybe you can try a brass lamp stem nut for the light bezel, just turn it on a drill to file and polish the hex shape out of it,, just a thought
That's a great idea! Probably would have been easier than what I ended up doing. Thanks for the support!
Re: favorite build....I've only been a member for a relatively short time so have not seen many builds yet. Re: what build would you like to see ya road trip, I'd say the Fargo from the ones I've seen. BTW....I intend to do some TH-cam binging between Xmas and New Years when I'm off while the boss completes inventory. Will be getting caught up on past builds on a few channels and your s is one of them. Nice work on the brake and fuel lines and crossmember. The rear window looks really nice. Am sure your wife will be really pleased with her present. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks! You will have so.w watching to do. I'm planning on getting a bunch of videos edited between now and new years! Thanks for the support! More work coming on the Fargo "Dodge" and I'm sure when that happens there will be a trip to follow!
Nice work. The dash is gonna look stellar. Love the gauge panel. And the new steering wheel looks great. The rad is looking good. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks for watching! I think it's gonna be really cool too.
What Radiator are you using ?
I ordered it for a 37 chevrolet truck. Dimensions were close then I just had to make it work.
Love it
Thanks!
I'd have to say that my favorite is the Buick Gasser mainly because it's the same age as me.
It's cool for sure I can't wait to get back on that one! Thanks for watching!
👍 Love your work
Thanks, glad you're enjoying it!
I see a master cylinder up where a steering box is usually at.... a first for me. No reason for it not to work, just curious as to where or how you did it
It's a little out of the ordinary, but I wanted to use the stock pedal and I really don't like the look of them up on the cowl like they were mounted on later model vehicles. If you go back in the play list there is a video that shows how it is done.
Cool man,,you really got progress goin on 👍👍
Wait until I get caught up on editing you should see it now!
I'm loving that gauge cluster. Good job.
Thanks it was a fun afternoon project. I appreciate your support!
The steering wheel & dash looks awesome 👍👍
Thanks I think they look at home also!
👍 Good job
Thank you for the support, hope you guys are enjoying!
Holy valve covers. Nice job. Keep it up
Thanks I guarantee I'm not the best but I'm having fun for sure! Your support is much appreciated!
Looking good brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an awesome weekend. Much love and RESPECT brother
As always thanks for the kind words you are a top notch sub!
Our wife is going to be well happy if you can get it finished for Christmas what a present it will be 👍
That's the plan! I might put myself in the dog house, spending so much time in the shop.
Love this build. I used an S-10 frame and V6 in my 47 Dodge rat rod truck.
That's a great combination, I'm sure it was a fun project! Thanks for hanging out with us!
Great video. Wish I had a buddy to help with wiring stuff. Have helped many friends do it and it's not fun. And that was back before wiring harnesses and you puled each wire end to end to keep them straight. Anyways the gas tank looks really nice and the crossmember certainly does the job now. Be safe and stay well.
Yea definitely my least favorite part. Sometimes it's kinda nice though to get a break from the fab work. I just don't have the time to do it all myself on this one.
👍 Good video love your work.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. That means a lot.
Really nice build 👍👍
Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it.
i like what you're doing but may i give you a little critism? Do a little less talking and do more fixing on the vehicle. Alot of us want to see you make this rat rod but dont tune in to listen to mostly talking. I get that from my old lady and tune her out also lol. good luck on the build
Thanks for the idea! I will definitely try to do more building from now on. Be patient because I'm a couple episodes behind on editing. Thanks for the support!
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Gonna look amazing when you finish it. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love and RESPECT
Thanks! You too!
Cool build,,I like the old small cab pickups 👍👍
Glad you liked it! These old trucks are a lot of fun.
👍 good job
Thanks for watching!
Great video. I've become pretty anal about where cords and such are in relation to what I'm working on. After I've cut thru more cords then I want to remember, many live, causing many, many headaches and fried tools. The pickup is coming along well. The tank bracket looks really stout. Nice job. Be safe and stay well.
@@briankinnear7461 thanks. I need to find the motivation to set up my shop a little better and build a table for my chop saw and other things. Thanks for the support!
Man i love this dodge. I'm catching up on these episodes sort of new to this channel. I tried the youtube deal and my hats off to you it is hard to take the time to record while building and editing killed me. your vega has a buick V6 do you know what year that v6 came out of? i have one in my shop with a 4 barrel carb and headers i was thinking about throwing it in something. @Rustyhalligans
The buick motor came out of a 78 Olds star fire. Thanks. I appreciate the support. I hope you're enjoying the videos. I'm still pretty new to this whole thing myself. Editing definitely is the worst part. Also knowing what to film. I started out filming everything but the videos were to long and I ended up cutting most of it out. Still trying to find the balance of explaining and showing and also showing progress.
@ yea I did the same thing long video letting it film and then my daughter said to just record clips like minutes or even seconds at a time and it’s starting to work better and I went to capscut free version so I have some good builds I will put up on TH-cam and give it another shot. Thanks for the v6 . I just finished my 27 coupe now starting a 27 roadster build 454 with weiand blower and a rusty p10 shorty step van. No shortage on projects
Incredible video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving. Enjoy your day
Thanks! I'm glad your still enjoying!
Good video. Keep it up. Love the rat rod stuff
Thanks. There is plenty more to come!

Had plenty of good times taking my Uncles Vega Wagon off-roading. Well until the oil pan was punctured. The frame I kid you not. Was being held together with a chain. His was orange.
I had a toyota Corolla I did that with. The chained frame doesn't surprise me at all.
I had a Vega with 3 speed auto years ago. I could go almost 25 miles before filling up with oil. Had a lot of miles on it.
Ahhh. One of those "check the gas and top off the oil" cars. I've had a few of those. Good memory, thanks for sharing!
Want to wish all my American friends on here a great Thanksgiving. We Canucks had our Thanksgiving back on October 14th. Remember the Vega when it first came out back in the day. Friends of mine got them as graduation presents. I was 17 is 1972. Have seen many of them hotrodded real good. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks a bunch. It's a pretty fun little car. Needs a little updating though!
Fix one thing and on to the next. Great video. Be safe and stay well.
There is no end to the fixing. Good thing I enjoy it.
Cool adventure, like the little Vega 😎 👍👍
