DIH is head and shoulders above all female K rock bands. sad, that just like Dreamcatcher, nobody in Korea knows them. their labels so small, their earlier album release mix/mastering was terrible. Sena vocals are awesome, i usually just listen to all their youtube uploads and club live versions, cuz at least they give u a better idea, imo. also, they don't use any outside producers writing songs, it's all Sena and the drummer.

2NE1 backgfound: Mr. Yang, CEO of YG publicly called 2NE1 ugly. This was picked up by netizens who sent hundreds nasty messages to them. I am the Best says they are beautiful, everyone looks at them and men and women follow them. 2NE1's answer to the nasty comments. Also note Mr. Yang arbitrarily disbanded 2NE1 just before Blackpink debuted. MAMA 2015 has CL and 2NE1 live. Not only enjoyable but shows their stage presence.

Being older (71 years) I like the 2nd gen groups best. 2NE1, Girls Generation, and 4Minute. All three groups have different styles and they cannot really be compared. More recent groups which I like: Mamamoo, Blackpink, Aespa . To further explore 2NE1: Lonely, I Love you, Crush live, I Don't Care rock version, Clap your Hands, and Come Back Home live

I have only recently discovered DIH and have following there many covers. The beginning of there Maya is like the Eagle's "Hotel California" just like the Rolling Quartz version which they name " Azalea" is like the beginning of Lynyrd Skynyrd " Simple Man" both renditions are excellent in there on right. Jayoung is a fun and animated front woman just like Sena exudes the rock star presents.

Rockit Girl was originally a two-member group (the two vocalists). Their early concept was more early-2000s pop rock (like "One Shot"). Over time, the company wanted to focus on the "eye candy" more, which rubbed the keyboardist the wrong way, leading to her leaving the group. By the time "Zombie" came out, their vibe had changed _a lot_ and the focus was entirely on the "sexy" member of the group (she now often wears swimsuits in the MVs). Despite the "gimmick", they still put out legit good music. I highly recommend their latest song "Only One". No one has reacted to it yet, so you'd be the first.

Apologies for the late comments, but I saw Rolling Quartz play live in London a few weeks ago and they were pretty damn good and the crowd (it was a sell-out concert) really appreciated them also. Azalea and Holler are probably my favourite MVs from them. Also I’m lucky enough to be seeing my favourite band, Lovebites play live in London in a few months time. Thanks for introducing me to The Fix also, they sound really interesting.

what Maju did was good but only for herself, that was selfish, she said she was upset for being in a team with 3 level C dancers and she removed herself to not have to deal with them and for hoping a better team to choose her, instead of being a leader and teaching her team to be better, she was already good in individual rankings but this is a TEAM, thats not how a Leader acts, to be honest she deserved that no one choosed her

I'm not sure how long ago it was, but I requested this song awhile back. I figured you'd like the rock vibe and I'm happy that I was right. I like Billlie because their music is always different genre's or it seems like that and it's all good.

Airi Kamiya is doing her own thing on her channel. Her last name. Final Boss is really cool. She did an interview recently where she mentioned she met Simon again as an Independent artist. She said it was like meeting an older brother after a long time and yet it didn't feel like a long time because he was still Simon.

Members of XG hugged Hikaru at the end of KCON LA 2023. It was Hikaru herself that went over to them though and she 1st hugged Jurin and then I think Maya. It looked like one of the other members of Kep1er was talking to members of XG as well.

Airi teased a dance video dropping on 08/22 on her IG. The short clip looks great.

Airi is an incredible person. It's impressive enough that these girls are incredibly hardworking and talented, but the way they think and express themselves is unmatched... how thoughtful, considerate, and loving they are. Thank you for supporting them. I think Airi is not in the company anymore though. She's seems to be fully independent

I’ve seen episode x7 like ten times now and still have the same reactions..When I saw the HESONO on kamiya’s final letter I burst in tears..Now I have a full understanding what that meant to our girls. It’s not just a word,it’s something deeper than that..That’s why I put my time to put my fair share to support them..BP is also in my top 5.. My top 5 are: XG,EVERGLOW,DREAMCATCHER,G-IDLE AND BLACKPINK BLACKPINK

This one and ring x ring are two of billlies lesser loved title tracks but they are my two faves (i think its the insomnia in me that gravitates towards them 😂) they have a performance video, choreo practice and a studio choom vid so you can see the choreo for the song in any of those 💞 Lore video is being made!! It will be in different parts but the first will be a main overview/explanation 😊 Also yes moon sua is an ult alongside suhyeon in the group but i love them all (a bit too much 😂) and yes!! If you do watch my extra vids on the girls i wouldnt object 💖 (you dont have to react though if you dont want to, especially if the content isnt for you or your channel, i just love advertising the girls 24/7 haha)

Finished watching!!: - billlie are similar to dreamcatcher in the way that the b-sides show their versatility. billlies b sides are very rnb, synth based (would highly recommend lionheart, nevertheless and extra-ordinary) - siyoon and moon sua write a lot of their rap verses - even though i made the video i agree on the second part not being rapping for sheon 😂 even though shes lead rapper she barely gets any rap lines so I just put in fast spoken word where you can see her control and speed - for siyoon, ive heard mixed info on whether or not she used to be main dancer (and as someone who came in gingamingayo era i cant confirm) but without a doubt she will always be a main dancer in my heart even if her position currently is lead, siyoon and tsuki are by far the best dancers in the group, their technique is incredible - harunas spoken voice is the lowest in the group and i always hope they will utilise it more in songs - i feel you on comparing groups to xg when it comes to dancing, xg really show immense power, charisma and synchronisation, but for a regular kpop group (that hasnt gone through the thorough and intense long training that xg has) billlie have been getting better and better at it with every comeback and a lot of their stages have really impressed me especially because they also love to sing live whilst doing it which is quite rare for kpop groups now - haram has one of my favourite tones in kpop, her head voice and low voice are everything to me and the way she and suhyeon harmonise is magical - i would also highly recommend checking out their dance practice for eunoia (they are all dressed in sports style outfits) and their enchanted night performance video to check out their dance as a group properly and their performance of ring ma bell on kbs to watch in your spare time 🔥 - also i wish i had included more in the video like the girls lower and high tones and more b-sides (but maybe if you check some out you can hear them for yourself anyway), i also wished i had edited it a little better 😅😂

I usually tend to gravitate to the main vocalist of groups for bias, but sometimes personality get me too. My bias is Suhyeon for Billlie. Trying to think if I have a main dancer bias from any group. Went over my list, I see I do lol.

I have just binge watched all your reactions to XG, and I am now commenting to say thanks for the XG reactions. I also see your Dreamcatcher reactions, which I will also get to. I am not overly big into kpop, but I do have several groups I like. CLC was my first 'true' love back when I got into kpop, and became my ult group. It was through CLC, that i was introduced to Dreamcatcher, who also became my ult group, during the Piri era. But then XG came into the picture, and they instantly became an ult group, as well as the group I am most excited about.

Firstly, welcome back! I'm surprised to see your first and next three posts are reactions to XG and not Mamamoo/Mamamoo+ or Dreamcatcher. As for XG, they're good but realistically they won't be big. "The embodiment of Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopez"? OK, you lost me with that analogy. She has a long way to go before she could even be considered to be that. Same with the aiming for Blackpink's level comment. They've yet to match the numbers of the current girl groups who debuted in the same year or later.
