cargo operations at CJ-2

Today, Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson along with the senior Officers of the Port, flagged-off the cargo handling operations for the first vessel by the Port at Coal Jetty-2. The vessel M.V. Nord Aegean, arrived from Port of Salalah, Oman for discharging 58,635 Tonnes of limestone.
The existing conveyors at CJ-2 has been removed and hoppers have been modified suitably to suit loading of cargo into truck from ship cranes.
