    Now all the ceilings details are missing and you notice where he put a large tape on the ceiling it's not better than before, large tape ain't good for that type of repair..

    • @samershammers
      @samershammers 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      First thank you for watching, if you take a look at the ceiling in every home it already has a small gap on the ceiling between the ceiling texture and the wall you can work on this gap without damaging the texture, you have to take into account every joint in any home has this tape between ceiling and wall or between two walls, without this tape this crack will keep happening because the vibrations, like when someone walks or lean against the wall.

  • @loreec90
    @loreec90 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Are you serious…lol this guy is making a mess! If you have a crack in an angle…..caulk it! When you have a heavy texture.

    • @samershammers
      @samershammers 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      First thank you for watching, The caulk never fix the problem, the crack will happen again (vibration) when walk or lean against the wall, do you know all the wall in your home has this joint tape without this tape you will see the cracks in every joint. About the ceiling texture issue if you take a look at the ceiling at your home you will see a gap between the ceiling texture and the wall. its enough to put the tape on it.

    • @loreec90
      @loreec90 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You did not put in screws , you aren’t going to stop movement with mud and tape. Caulking is flexible and if that doesn’t work, check the foundation you may have bigger problems. You don’t need to soak the tape…it stretches more and easier to get wrinkles

    • @samershammers
      @samershammers 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@loreec90 I didn't mean movement, if you have movement you should use screws to fixe it before do anything , I meant vibrations (walking or leaning on walls) This tape is used in new homes(walls are stable and strong) without this tape will see cracks in every joint, In concrete houses, there is no need to use such a tape because it does not move, it is not like wooden houses when some one walk in first floor You feel his steps throughout the house, Simply, I did not invent anything , I installed something it was missing or broken or defect during construction, thanks for watching.

    Brilliantly simple! :) Have wondered many times about this. I use a scaffolding pole, a loop of nylon rope as a fulcrum on top of a long piece of 2"x4" hardwood. Rather like a big pair of pincers. :) You didn't seem to protect the rim coating. Maybe it didn't matter here.

    I would probably buy that scissor jack bead breaker thing LOL, breaking them under the back of a truck is something of a pain...you could also stick a hook right into a drill like a bit, see kBkE68gDr7U (which also has a few other good idea like using a wood wedge to push it in and some tires might not have the holes to fit with this one, though most do).
