🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉excellent awesome observation in relation to this interview 🎉🎉😊more love so much love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
M Ali ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊handsome gorgeous man the greatest fighter no boxer can match M Ali. Well said M Ali..❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤you beat all the boxers as stated , cooper the boxer I know so well as we watched him in the year of that fight with the gyms in south east London England 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤love ❤️ 😍 💖 you M Ali & your family in relation to my Special Family..Health is Law
Whiteness is an indicator of an angelic quality.
Thank you for posting this little known cinematic gem. Definitely one of Bruce Dern’s finest performances. Plus it’s got Foxy Brown and the guy from the Godfather who wakes up to the horse head in his bed.😳😆 Good soundtrack too. This movie is a beauty.🎥🤌🏼
La doppietta del grande Orlando..
I had this on VHS - very inspired by this movie
アベルアントン めちゃくちゃ強かった。 フィス、ガルシア、フスダド スペインのマラソンランナーはすごかった。
Much is discussed about which boxer is the best of all time, perhaps it will never be solved with so many aspects to take into account for such an arduous task. But as to who has been the most charismatic outside the ring, there is no doubt that Ali has been the most notorious.
1:20.20 Thanking the guys that had his back. My favorite part of the movie.
Best running movie ever!
My four favorite running movies, 1. On the Edge 2. The Jericho Mile 3. Running Brave 4. See How She Runs
You can tell Ali wasn’t himself he was deteriorating at a fast pace . I watched most of his earlier year interviews , he would be more indulging and would talk and react faster but as you can see he is just going thorough the phase . Muhammad Ali the greatest 🥊❤️❤️❤️
Was fortunate enough to meet both John Davies and Dick Quax in December 1986 at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships in Hastings. Both sadly missed now.
Clealy so sick already sadly.
i recently listened to a podcast with Steve Moneghetti and he was stoked with this race as his form and training came through this year and he ended up with the bronze at the World Championships. He mentioned that he wished he had got his training right in the 91 and 92 years as his preparation suffered when he was at his peak.
I was fortunate to be part of the GBR squad and in the Junior Men race above. Yeh the Tooby twins were amazing and a delight to be with on that trip! Thanks for posting this, brings back good memories.
Seko really dropped the hammer at mile 20. He was on such fine form that year. Absolutely machine like precision through the Newton hills.
Haven't seen this for well over twenty years. Good to see it again
49:30, he doesn't understand why white culture, is white....asshat.
Such a beautiful movie.
⚡Ali for all time⚡🌅⚡⚡ ❤❤
He even invented Rap with the Muhammad Ali song at the end of the video
I was Ali's Chief Spit Bucket Handler from 75-82. Sometimes he'd miss and spit in my face. I would not wash my face for days. He was the Greatest.
So ali jogged every day and sparred secretly in that 3 and a half year lay off
Interesting seeing Auckland back in 1986 especially in the city and viaduct area. Brings back some great memories as a teenager in the 80’s.
Bigots didn’t hand out tampons to the men’s competitors, I thought this was a liberal corporation? Somebody boycott these transphobics .
So sad that he thought that he should continue beyond 1975......and shameful of the authorities to allow him to continue boxing for almost 3 more years after this interview despite him clearly being slow of speech and way way past his best by this time. Great mind and excellent interviewee though.
No sir. Wasn't how it happened. He retired in about June 79. Then he came back Oct 1980. But yes shouldn't have been allowed to fight.
@@robbereal1982 His last fight was the Birbick fight in Dec 1981. I count retirement as being after the last fight
@@davegaskell7680 I know he fought Berbick last I'm saying he ddnt fight 2 more yrs straight. He retired first.
I lived in Sausalito when this movie came out. Remember some of the runners of that era. A wonderful time to be alive ..
Wes Holman's coach was 'Max' in the movie Hooper.
He was also Woltz who wakes up with a horse head in his bed in The Godfather.
Awesome!!! Thank you for keeping this alive and available
Right on! Come live in white fox Saskatchewan!! You haven’t worked in cold! Great work and interview!
Thank you for this. I lost VHS.
Bruce Dern, the actor, was underrated. I gave him an empty wooden box. Dern shined, here.
Pam was my dream.
I'm glad some of you were able to find a decent dvd copy of this film. I have been trying to find one for years, as all I've got is an old vhs that isn't any better than this one, and my daughter, who died in 2005, is the little girl with the blonde ponytail who is standing in the water when all the runners enter it at the end.. Her father is also in the group of people congratulating Bruce Dern at the finish, before they all head for the water. I was working in Bolinas that day and they had gone over to Stinson Beach. I think my daughter was four or five. She was delighted at getting to have all the juice boxes she wanted while they were filming, lol! She's only on the screen for a short while, but long enough to tell it's her. Same with her dad. Since she died at age 28, it's meant a lot to me to find these memories here and there. Glad to see this again. ❤
HILLARIOUS...NO TME...WHOOO IS HEE????
ah yes.......before the africans arrived
ex Brit living in Canada enjoying the calm and knowledgeable commentators
Liz has an awkward looking running gait
hopefully she remembered to thank her pace maker
Bitter. Horrible
The interviewer first starts talking to the other host in the studio about Mohammed Ali while Ali was sitting there. Rude!
The perfect runner's movie.
49.00 runner flicks off unimpressed officials hat !
Just criminal that he was allowed to keep fighting past his mid thirties
Mohamed Ali.Your name will live on forever and ever until the end of time.As long as this world 🌎 last your name will live on.You are the greatest of all times. There will not be another Mohammed Ali. Maybe in the next world 🌎.And it's going to be you. God bless you 🙏 And God loves you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is great for treadmill running. Cheers.
Im so grateful and fortunate to have grown up in a time where Ali was huge in America and you will never see the likes of this great athlete again NO WAY EVER , SIMPLY THE GREATEST EVER
Cooper had a good left hook ALI HAD A BETTER RIGHT CROSS
I ran in that one back then. I did not get to see the TV coverage. Glad it was posted here.
❤ 🏴🇮🇹
Thanks for the upload. It helps with the treadmill training. I forgot how crack this field was, unlike 86, 94 and 98.
Very entertaining film, thanks for sharing Bill Fox.
If you have the 1991 dublin marathon it'd be great if you could post it up
