Best eight minutes I spent on TH-cam in a long time. Replaced a surge break actuator on a boat trailer, had less than three inches of exposed line. Sure enough, I messed up the seat on the adapter dealing with the stubby, stiff line. Wound up buying the washer for $11.99 at a local Grainger. It worked perfectly, have nine spares from a box of ten. Still worth every penny.
Thanks man this really helped me out
*MISTAKE: I do MnP coating for a living and you should always have excess MnO2 in the bottom of the reactor to replenish the Mn.*
No brainer this press is not designed strong for extracting cases because of the universal case holder. Any mechanically inclined person can see that. I purchased one of these myself. I am intending to purchase the Frankfort F-1 to do sizing or even extraction of bullets with. I watch a lot of videos to see what others think of products and sometimes research something before purchasing. I like this product to seat bullets but honestly, I would never purchase this with the intent to do the entire process. The shell holder is great being universal, but the drawback is it doesn't have the strength for it to withstand full length sizing a case. On the other hand, if one were into neck sizing it would be plenty strong enough for that.

Lars said use a flare gasket on the fuel line. This novice had no idea what a flare gasket was. You provided the answer. Thank you.
I tried with sodium bichromate but it did not stah on the part even pure zinc bar... what I missed. I used the proportions given 10onces of powder per galon +0,5 once of sulfur acid
This must be done to a otherwise its a waste of time to rebuild a qjet. I have that reamer but I also have a special ground self centering drill bit I prefer over the reamer. The procedure is basically the same and is idiot proof.
Excellent video. Thank you. I experienced the same problem - except I didn't stop attempting to turn the shell holder in time. Ham-fist. So the shaft spins in the holder. I was able to contact F/A, and a very good C/S rep is sending me a new press. Very nice, but replacement parts that fix the issues would've sufficed. We'll see if the new generation of M-Press addresses that design-flaw. I'll do the fix you advise on the old one. I've already decided that the M-Press is de-cap and seat only. Re-sizing...? That calls for my 20 year old Rock Chucker! Cheers, Dan
Very nice. Thanks for the video.
Emulsifier tube. Quit jamming that awl into the various orifices' of the block.
The GM manual stipulates that the rear linkage arm should be just shy of the hole by 1/2 of the rod diameter. Not sure why GM differs, but your instructions are "more correct" and logical. If you use the GM setting the center carb will not seat against the idle. VERY GOOD video and the same for the other one on this topic.
So just some clarification on the 500 end carbs ... I also have a 340 Six-Pack set up .. looking for some spare ends 500 carbs original parts numbers are 0-4790 rear and 0-4789 front .. i found both but between the price to buy and restore is crazy.. so I purchased a new center from Holley 0-4792 350 CFM .. I see they no longer remanufacture the end 500 carbs for the 340.. so I have been looking at the 500 CFM carbs for the 440 engine 69/70 Holley 0-4365 and the 1971 440 engine 0-4672 .. I've been told the 69/70 has a different style metering plate and the 71 has the same style metering plate that my 340 end carbs have in them, just a different jet size. Question: will either of the 440 end carbs work on my modified 340 ? and if so should I go with the 69/70 or the 71 carbs? Any help would be greatly appreciated from anyone who has dealt with this scenario. Thanks
The link for the casters shows that they come with wheels. Could you use the wheels that you used on the front on the original rear casters?
Great, clearly explained process. Thanks
i know its been like eight yrs since ya posted this but could i bother yoou for info about that power supply you're using? love me that analog tech!
Just installed a new flex line on carburetor for boat. Kept leaking and tried this. Worked great

Im about to make my sodium dichromate solution and wondering if the 10 oz. Per gallon you mentioned, thats by weight right? not fluid ounces? Just want to be sure...
What Carb base gaskets do you use on the 2300 holley.
Nowadays you know you can buy that carburetor for about $250
I made all my tools out of nothing I made my own bushings out of copper pipe and it worked out beautifully and I have zero money involved and that's the greatest thing of all
Old but gold 😊
Great video to show just how to get out the tubes. I did not use enough heat and did not cut off the tip of the screw so I did not get them out the first time. Now I know what to do. Thanks.
Very nice and educating video, thanks for your time to make the video. Nice job too !
Did you ever do your gun?
great setup thank you
Can I use muriatic acid for the dichromate solution?
yes you will get more green hues
@backnine thanks! Also I'm having kind of a hard time finding the sodium dichromate. You said you found yours on ebay but I couldn't find any on there. Any help?

I just had my first stuck case! Ripped the little screws on 3 of the 5, gonna take it apart and do the bigger screws. Thanks for the fixes.
great video and great information
This is a really helpful video, I bought the press knowing it's issues after watching this. Ripped the bolts out of their threads first time using. I've had it replaced, and then done the fix on new one ... FYI the holes are 3.5mm metric and already drilled more than double the length of the bolts.. not sure if they were tapped deeper or not , but I tapped them anyways.. and used longer bolts . Not sure how long as I bought 20mm ones and cut them down . But probably 12-14mm .. really pleased ... thank you
mine leaks air but not fluid.....clutch lines.....
My issue is the brass will not align with the die. Every time I press the ram down to resize I have to guide the brass into the die with my finger. Any fix for that?
You are boring, you keep repeating yourself.
Very well done presentations. Detailed, articulate, teacher! I am rebuilding my 70 GTX 6bbl setup and this was very helpful. I always disassemble to the smallest part but you cleared up the best way to do it.
This was interesting thank you
Thank you 🙏🙏
Is this coating food safe? I would like to do some of my knives if so.
I guess no problem
great setup, fantastic finish!
I know this video is very old. But I want to thank you. I just became across that this evening. It is by far the most detailed. An articulate Video I've ever seen. I appreciate your knowledge. Unless of all your sharing of your videos thank you sir
thats why they suggest and make it so an open end wrench fits on the shell holder wheels. You have good solid force on spring when you use the open end wrench to push shell holder wheel back into the adjustment pocket and then just turn into proper size.
Excellent video, lots of knowledge given. I learned a lot and may try and attempt to do this in the future. Thank you for making it easy to understand.
Great job explaining how to test the pods on the car. Many thanks!!
Just an update for anyone considering this press. I received mine a few weeks ago. They still have all the same problems, AND my light switch is broken (doesn't stay on). Customer service is non-existent. I started sending emails, web-form contact messages, and phone calls the day after I placed the order (3 weeks ago!). No reply to email, no call-back from phone calls. Stay far away from FA. I bought the M-Press AND X-10 so I could teach my son to reload on the single stage before turning him loose on a progressive. I doubt I'll even open the X-10. I'm through with Franklin Arsenal. the entire $2k order will be returned (if I can talk to a customer service rep before the warranty expires).
Where do I buy these fittings?
Great info.
Wow! I have a few carbs that new this! What does this cost?
Many thanks for sharing
