I know its not a new lens, but great stuff!

Hey guys! I am using helios on nikon dslr. With my adapter I can use only fully open aperture. And video recording function does not work on my dslr while I use this lens. Do you know how I can make camera record without finding a custom made adapter?

Another option is getting a Sony E to Canon EF adapter and then buying a used 11-24mm F4 lens. Since it's designed for Full Frame completely you can go to 11mm wide without vignetting. There's also now a 10mm F2.8 lens if you need even wider than that.

Thanks for the review! I'm looking to get this lens, I also have the A7siii which is a low-light beast. Would you say the F4 is not an issue when shooting in S-log 3 (12,800 iso) or even S-Cinetone (2000 iso)?

Primes are very underrated. This might be worth it for me to go back to one.

I haven't used this lens recently but if I remember correctly, setting the a7S III to APS-C mode doesn't downgrade the video resolution. After all, APS-C cameras are also capable of shooting in UHD

Did you modify the af of this Helios? What camera are you using?

Hello, have you compared the Helios 44-2 from KMZ and the Helios 44-2 from MMZ (BelOMO) that you have? Apart from that, I have the Helios 44-3 MC from MMZ (BelOMO), which was made exclusively by the MMZ (BelOMO) production factory and neither of the other two production factories. In any case, I am more than satisfied with my model and definitely don't need the 44-2.

I guess there is nothing left to say than, yeah this is deeply true... But for me as an artist who always felt this way, as someone who has always struggled to find people who feel the same way, it's a really hurtful truth. A lot of my friends had choosed to go and promote their stuff via Social Media, getting a audience out of people who just want this constant directly attention grabbing videos. But for me, everytime I hear them talk about their success it's like I'm dying a bit inside, this isn't the way how art and music works. They're destroying their own art, breaking it down to pieces and brain rotting videos, making it impossible to identify the soul of what they made...
