YES! Thank you sir! I’ve been a Troma fan for a while and I followed this project since 2021 around the time when Elijah Wood and Kevin Bacon were added to the cast. RELEASE IT ALREADY! (Also I read in a review that JJ is apparently underutilised but she makes it her worthwhile. Apparently there’s a scene where she hits Kevin Bacon’s character in the nyuts with a toilet. Now THAT is something I wanna see)

1974 was the REAL DEAL...

Class video man, though to clear up, he is supposed to be the same Leatherface from 1974. In really badly written expositon its supposed to be after the original the woman who ran the very racist childrens home took him in as one of her "boys". So he adopted her as his mother figure. Makes absolutely no sense as to why he abandons the remaining family he had at the end of the original movie, or how he's that spry for a man well into his 70s by this point 😂

The 2022 version was nothing less than "hot garbage water",and hearing that it used 20 million dollars to be made..... Jesus Christ,what a waste.I HATED everything about it,hollywood seems to be a cesspool of non talented people these days."oh how far we've fallen". really dug the video,my 1st one of yours,but i definitely subscribed and look forward to going through and watching the others,and new ones!keep on trucking brother!

I like your enthusiasm for this obscure franchise but a female red-headed roughless environmental activist who is also a scientist and attacks humanity with plants? That's Poison Ivy. Maybe instead a company like Mosanto could be the villain. They developed an experimental fertilizer but don't tell anyone about the side-effects that turn tomatoes into killer tomatoes. The character of Karen could be the hero. She's a scientist who knows of the danger of the fertilizer but gets ignored. So now she has to a fight them with the help of Chad the janitor working for this company.

The original Rocks,while the remake Sucks !!! And the remake also didn't have Marilyn Chamber's song "Benihana" in it.

I think the concept of the villain being an "environmental extremist" is plausible. I've seen such a thing in movies like "War of the Insects".

I believe the original Rose character was supposed to be played by Sissy Spacek but was overruled for Marilyn Chambers who was infamous for Behind the Green Door. I think there is a scene with a Carrie marquee as a bit of irony.

I wish "Island of Terror" would be remade.

THIS is IT?! You know the original is not so bad after all.😮😅. The original I mean 😮, when watched Ed Wood 💭 💭 thought well, never gonna watch that!! The cringe scene were Bela Legosa is writhing around amidst the throbbing outreaching tentacles threatened to be consumed by the lake monster? is hoaky though lots of fun.( according to Ed Wood movie) don,t recall seeing it in the actual movie. Remember the flower tending to scene outside Bela,s house,genius classic him interjecting that scene unbeknowst to Bela. (by Ed Wood movie accounts.) Johnny Depp as Ed Wood was brilliant spot on, actor playing Mr.Legosa was indistinguishable for me ,now that I 🤔 🤔 think of it. Also think of that episode where they,re waiting to eat their chinese food,then go see 'Plan 9' then don,t go see it at end, not to mention never get to eat at all, enjoyable, classic Seinfeld episode, 😊. Think original N.O.T.L.D and this movie could be swapped together, would make both more fun . I actually enjoy it & acting doesn,t seem too terrible. 😮😅. Lol.

A remake would be guaranteed to be 20 times more entertaining that all the franchise reboots of the last 20 years!

What an unlikable narrator. Like most, I didn't even know there was a remake. Wood's is still the best bad film (unless you count Francis' "The Beast of Yucca Flats") Wood's films were perfect for the 70s Midnight Movies. Some of the best comedies were his "The Violent Years" and "Jail Bait" (wink).

The problem with remakes of cheesy movies like this, is that they are more like a Saturday Night Live skit. They don't have the shock/schlock value. And are like something out of National Lampoon.

Second one would been classic BUT THEY STILL HAVENT GOT IT RIGHT. THE MONSTER FROM CLOSET SHOULD BEEN SHOWN HOW HE LEFT HOUSE. WALKEN TO DOOR OUTSIDE. HE SHOULD BEEN HIT BY CAR THEN THEY GO OVER TO IT AND IT VANISH. WOULD BEEN BETTER ENDING. SO VIEW THINKS HE WALK OFF AS WE SEE IT WALK IN TO DARK. GREAT FOR ANOTHER SEQUELL.

I’ve often said, Night of the Living Dead was a remake of Plan 9 without the context.

imagine the uncanny valley nightmare of waking up at a double feature .... .....of . . . . the rocky horror reboot (2016) and the plan nine reboot (2015). hell is not warm, but all you can watch reboots.
