Oh my god, Cameron Boyce
I will miss you cam
My mall
I've always wondered what was behind that wall
That mall was shut down on January 31, 2021. Right now, it's demolished, except for that Belk building, which remains. In the near future, that area will be Epic Games' new headquarters and campus. Currently, it's under construction. It is estimated that the completion date will be in 2024 or 2025.
Nooo Big scarr died
I HATE NC!!! DOWN WITH CRAZY PEOPLE CRAZY CRAP CARY 🤮
The way she says north Carolina is sexy af
Dave and Busters moved to a separate building in front closer to Walnut Street. The building used to have Jump Zone, and before that it was a Harris Teeter.
It's gonna be the new site of epic games HQ. Of course the mall is getting demolished as I write this, and build something new.
Except for that Belk building remains. Others were completely demolished.
So I’m from Greenville but haven’t lived there since 2004, and having been to this mall more times than I can count, I never knew until 30 minutes ago. I was on Google earth trying to find a store that I loved as a child and was looking around perplexed “are those headstones?!” So I asked my friend and he said the same thing. Then I started googling!! How bizarre
Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together and sharing it with all of us. ..love you for it!
Wow, this was a real shock to see, as I haven't been up that way in years. I used to work at a restaurant at Cary Towne named Spinnakers back in the late 90's. Thank you for the drive-by update.
Spinnakers used to be at the spot at the 4:54 mark of the video, btw.
I used to haunt this mall me and my family would eat at the food court then split up and shop
I read that Frances Bavier became a recluse after the show ended.
The Andy Griffith show is still on the air in Canada..
Rip Aunt BEE She was nicr lady
Been to Mt airy several times, and Mt Pilot. Iove that area. Great area for vacations. Don't miss out. And visit the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can also learn to Flatfoot dance at the Blue Ridge Music center. Galax Virginia is not far away, and it's the Bluegrass Capital of the World. Lot to do up in them thar hills ya,ll.
Beautiful place. Thanks for the tour. Merry Christmas 🎅🎄
Merry Christmas to you as well!
Thank you for the video, aunt b will all was be alive in the heart and memories of so many..
I knew Jim Nabors personally. She was not liked by the staff and once Ernest T. Bass called the law on her during production. Aunt Bee slapped him because they had some offensive words. Andy had to handle this issue. The producers and owners of the show wanted her terminated immediately. But Andy who told them that America loves Aunt Bee and if you fired her the shows rating would drop. He convinced them and they worked around her about negative feedback.
Why speak negative? Let her rest in peace. Aren't we all difficult to get along with at times??
Aunt Bea, we all miss you so much. You were such a big part of our lives for soo many years. Rest In Peace.
Thank you for taking the time to video this, I may never get up there to actually see these sites. Its crazy that she and Andy both ended back up here in NC, after all most of the cast is buried in Cali.
She was everyone's Aunt.
How much would her house go for
It was on the market for $375,000
Aunt bee in real life to the community down december 6 1989 when she passed away I was five years old then
I like that you are a woman narrator!!!! You're the first I've came across!!!! Anyhow love the video!!!!!!
I’m surprised she had Aunt bee written on her headstone because she wasn’t very fond of the show when she was doing it. She was not a happy camper doing the show and could be very nasty to the rest of the cast and crew. I think she felt The Andy Griffith Show was a little beneath her coming from the New York stage and being an actress in major theatrical productions. I feel for her.
Nice Video..
Very nice ! Thank you , interesting nice channel
Wow that is a nice house, I was wondering what it looked like inside from the outside in my opinion it looks like just an ordinary house but seeing the inside I think it looks more like a Victorian style house I sure wouldn't mind living in it. Maybe the people who end up buying it maybe they'll see her ghost bet she's still there watching over the place.
I have always wondered why her character’s name was spelled ‘Bee.’ Her name was Beatrice. I would think that the nickname would be spelled ‘Bea.’
She lived one block from me. She was not very sociable, house belonged to prominent Dr, and the inside was immaculate. The whole house had to be stripped and cleaned after her death. Cats had whole room for their cat boxes!
I have been in the house it was nasty she painted all the rooms green she lived in one room I also know her house keeper she now lives behind me she did not drive her studs baker is now in Denton Nc her pets had free run of the house the hous stunk
I moved here to North Carolina about 8 years ago and I love it so thank you for showing some of its beautiful history! 🌹❤🌹
Actually, when she was younger she was drop dead gorgeous beauty. She played in many movies in 40, 50, 60 til she started playing “ character” roles. Look her up You will be surprised.
Nice video. Beautiful country
Visited there many years ago. Loved it.
Andy may have been "the star" but I watched because there were so many different characters, and each one became a personal friend.
She did have a daughter who was an actress. The daughter played a teacher on the tv series Fame.
You must be thinking of somebody else. She never had any children
I loved watching Aunt Bee
She's somebody that people loved and they'll never forget
Francis was excellent as Aunt Bea. She was an very talented actress in early films as well. Actresses aren't made of her stock often. May she rest in peace.
Thank you for a great post, also luv the cast and show.
That's some serious American history! Those guys were pretty brave to sit at that counter! Thank you so much for this video ENC. My wife and I are both fans of history so we will definitely go this museum if we get to Greensboro.... Hey, this vid is almost 2 months old? Where's the next one?? You have some people waiting...lol
Interesting video. Thank you! Dave Sanstrum has some good stuff on the Andy Griffith show and Frances Bavier on his channel if your not familiar with it...
Aunt Bee was great .
Agree!
I loved Aunt Bee, but I believe she died unhappy. She wanted the starring role next to Andy Griffith. She did get credits after Don Knotts left the show, but by that time it was not the same show!
That's BS. The first episode of the show was the pilot they used to sell it. In the first episode it is explained that Andy is a widower with a small boy. And in the second episode, you are introduced to Barney, his deputy, who very typically Southern, was Andy's cousin. Bea was written into the show in the third episode. Frances Bavier never had any other expectations of Bea than of her being a peripheral character. Most actors just want to work. They don't care about being a "star".
I live in Siler City. She is buried right up the road from me. My sister and niece were caretakers for her.
@@mylesburris3885 I think she left it to her cats 🐈😻🐈⬛
@@mylesburris3885 No I'm not joking.. Lots of stars leave their fortune to their pats what is so strange about that..🤷♀️
@@mylesburris3885 😅 why Ridiculous she's entitled to leave her money 💰to who ever she wants Right?
@@mylesburris3885 Whatever!
@@mylesburris3885 I do love animal's cause the more I know animal's the least I like humans..and specially humans like you, ( if you can call yourself human) And MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅 to you too..

Agree! She was so good in it!
