I think M+ is one of the worst things ever added to the game. Adding a timer to dungeons was the absolute worst idea ever with affixes being right behind it. M+ features ruined WotLK classic. It's ruined modern day tanking. Everything is just ridiculous chain pulling no matter what type of dungeon you're in which often times absolutely ruins a dungeon experience if you are mele. Unless I'm on my ret pally main I often times just sit back and wait for other people to drop 30 mobs because my other mele can't take the damage because of massive overpulling. I always love when Cataclysm timewalking comes out because many tanks either didn't play back then, or they forgot the mechanics of those dungeons. Chain pull? Wipe. Boss fights? One shots for everyone not doing mechanics correctly. I love it. It teaches modern tanks a well deserved lesson.

Mythic plus sucks

M+ was the wow savior that slowly turn out to be a tyrant, at the start it was play the dungeon with a + Now its play a shitload of overturned dungeons that we overturned with a fuking afixes that yo have to deal with it every 30 second of the whole duracion of the dungeon.

M+ is the crossfit of Warcraft. It's trash.

This is my first real go at m+ and i am having a blast! Only had a few rude groups and a few just bad groups. I started as a resto druid and rerolled to resto shammy. I have made it to 2600. It's been great! I have also made a prot pally and fury warrior, and i am just levelling a disc prist. I can't wait to get on every night!

I wouldn't know. My MM hunter is not getting invited to anything because it's not meta.

I became a healer mostly because i had a spec that heals and it would get me into groups. I never turned back. When the stars align and the meta healer spec is a reactive one with lots of utility you can totally carry a group of idiots to victory. Those are the times when playing a healer can really pay off, sending you to a very fast climb if you know what you are doing, as your influence on the key outcome can be much greater then other roles.

I agree with you 100%, Buffs are backwards! This game has always been horribly unbalanced and this needs to change. its time to make classes and specs more balanced across the board. Stop making the game better for the elitists and let everyone enjoy it the same way they do. We put just as much effort and and time into gearing up its time to make the effort matter by making specs balance out more so we can enjoy playing whatever we want to play, not just what Blizzard and the elitists deems worthy.

I've been playing WoW for two decades. I'm going to explain something to you that most of us old hats figured out in BC: Blizzard can't balance shit.

Protection paladin should be nerf, no tank should have that utility and do so much dmg.

This company belongs by bad employers,most of them dont love this game,just working,most of them,probably dont playing the game of working aswell.

People don't understand how studios balance their game, How does Riot balance LoL? They CHOOSE some heroes and balance them, the rest they keep fixing during the Season, Blizzard does the SAME thing, they CHOOSE some classes to be meta, and fix the others during the Season, they WANT you to play with the META, that's why balance is so bad (for the other classes).

This is by far the worse patch in regards to class changes. every week another update either nerf or buff. it makes people uncertain of their class. me and my friends rerolled our char to many times it drove me out to classic

It seems they dont want to raise all the boats with just buffing underperfoming specs as if they were okay with current combined performance in raids or something. But who cares art this point if they buff 15 specs by 10% and make bosses essentially maybe 5% easier? In addition nerfing top specs means worse players playing those specs will feel worse for no reason.

I disagree with tanking nerf being the problem, its mostly the community and m+ timers that dont benefit the game in any way (the key should not deplete, extra difficulty is still present with affixes and more mob power, timer can still be there for ego leaderboards etc). I often tank m0 for new players in our social guild, we are on discord and we always clear those dungeons even though these DPS newbies dont even have enchants and are undergeared, we may wipe a few times but we succeed. Only handfull of newbies want to do m+ after they get their first keys from m0, why? Timers, every wipe hurts a lot. Community is awful and its getting worse every year.

Why should anyone be afraid of tanking M+?.I mean, after all you just need to know what to pull, how to pull, when to pull, be fast and not die in the process. Only healers have it worse when it comes to the blame game... 😂

hello! season 1 TWW, for me at least is mostly dead, because of the delves! i didnt even bother do +7s while the weekly reward for 2xt8 delves are 616ilvl - for the same time spent ingame, that if you complete the +7; if one player ragequits or disconnects - the 20-30 minutes is just lost, no reward for none of us. and that time is something i dont have anymore... i did get the m+ mount and i'm working on the portals as prot warrior these days, but that's only one of my toons doing keys (in DF i did keys almost on every class, effin altoholic). oh and let's not talk about healing - my 3 healers from DF are now dps. screw healing!

The way you are thinking about it is the problem. Every piece of loot that goes to an active raid member makes the raid stronger. And makes it easier for everyone to gear. It is about the group more than the individual. If you dont like that, go find a different guild. Or go do some delves.

Im 2400+ IO VDH pug only. I think the problem is you need to put in extra "work" to tank like routing and LEARNING the whole dungeon. You can't just wing it. People want the fast que but not the extra work. As a pug tank you also have to grind to overgear content before you proceed to give you room for pug errors.

I’ll say this for me personally: I feel that starting to tank now, in this current season with the difficulty being as high as it is and the toxicity of the community, is by far the best time to start. I know that when the storm finally passes I’ll be a better tank. I healed all through DF and the first part of this season, until it hit me that I wanted to tank. So I hard switched and it is for sure very difficult to properly manage my cooldowns for tank busters sometimes but it is getting easier to do. As far as the toxicity I have faced, well I thought it was going to be a lot more but so far it has been very rare. I think players are starting to realize how difficult it is and cutting us some slack. There is still the occasional jerk here and there but I try not to take what they say seriously, unless they make a valid point about a mistake I made so I don’t make it again. I’d say overall if you are thinking of tanking just do it and try to weather the current storm. The role is very rewarding when you get it down.

they like the crest system because it meets their main goal. money. make the players spend 5x the normal amount of time in game for upgrades and that means players keep their subs that much longer. you have to remember that wow isnt a game made for fun anymore. its only goal in the world is to make money for shareholders.

Ultra rare items are a problem especially when most specs are needing them for BiS Personally I'd like a system like in fated/awakened where we can buy a limited number of chase items so we have some protection from bad luck in general. The system can literally work the same as in the season 4 modes where you get x currency for doing that raid. I would also like crest catch up. So when I'm behind multiple weeks on my alt I gain additional, potentially at a 1 and half or double rate. Would also love if after capping for the week on say gilded your alts also gained them at a faster rate, would allow me to play more alts and not have to put the same time sink into capping them.

Whats the problem in having some rare items in a game? Its a mmorpg, thats normal. Epic items became usual. So thats the only way to have some rare itens in the game, it makes way more enjoyable when you get them.

Just some random ideas: Eliminate the Valorstone cap. Make Valorstones and crests warband bound. I don't raid or do mythic+ but I would still like to have a way to get gilded crests.

Griding out a Raid Currency and/or Mythic Currency to purchase the specific items we are looking to get would be so much better. This total RNG system is insane. I've been trying for the tank trinket off E.D.N.A. since launch and only have had it drop once in a companion dungeon run.

The fact that on my alt, and my main, I got the BiS necks and rings purely via the vault/weekly heroic TW is just comical. Like, I get it that it is considered super rare and really like icing on the cake, but it is just comical how it is entirely down to RNG. I do think we need to have some sort of deterministic gearing. Make it grindy, with the grind becoming less painful over time so that towards the end an alt could easily catch up. This, however, would mean people could also target specific items, especially if those items are massively powerful

I got lucky first two weeks of the season got necklace and cloak as a hpally main but then I got heroic and mythic gear now the farm starts again 626 and the grind for crest is too toxic in pugs

Raiding is for losers that need others to carry them. Try a challenging yourself with some real content, Delves

Your video sounds much more like a personal problem. You state Alts have an issue with crests, however they get all the renown rewards (crests, keys, valorstones), they also gain access to gear via the Renown vendor the moment you get access to them. You still can go into dungeons and gain loot. You have a loot table for everything you can get. You have weeklies and daily quests, time walking, ATM, pvp... I mean, gear is the completely accessible this expansion. Currently have 10 80's at 610+

Bro your guild raid loot rules are your problem And the crests just like gear your get the best from the harder content how it should be and if you just hand shit to alts what the point how blizzard keeps people around is having a grind to get the best of the best if it's handed out and people get geared in all bis quick they end up bored and quiting till the next season I do this also when I hit that wall of no more grind like my whole group and guild

Main issue with loot is you can only get myth track from vault or raiding. Let 12+ drop myth track. And increase crest cap or remove it completely. The system is fine otherwise. It taking a while to get crests just prolongs gearing which in is dopamine highs constantly thrown at me. Most people quit playing their chat when they can't gear anymore. Don't make that happen faster.

Dude first of all: your guild loot distribution is your problem, not Blizzards. Second, equipping alts has never been easier. I have 4 alts 610+, 2 615+ and one almost 625. My main will hit 635 this week. We raid 2 times a week and i play every other night for like 2 to 3 hours. People crying all over the place "it's so hard to do X" and "Y is impossible for most players". Get your shit together and play the game like a normal person. No one is gonna give you shit for free. And yes, a system which would be a bit more deterministic would be nice, but this is what we got. +8 Dungeons for mythic crests are easily done with pugs and before you say: BuT nO oNe InViTeS mE, i've got the answer for you. Play your own damn key and build a group by yourself. I play as a BM Hunter which is clearly nowhere near meta and i still get invited. why? because i pushed my score manually and didnt expect the community to boost me. So for the love of god: Stop crying, pull your head out of your ass and play the game instead of crying like a little baby on youtube why big bad blizzard doesnt give you any loot.

I hate the whole concept of upgrading gear. Its just artificial gating and feels bad.

i think haveing currency witch your forced to farm the get your gear upgraded is a stupid idea removed the upgradeing of them or make it farmabel from something else then high m+ keys

You being in a guild with stupid loot rules is not a Blizzard problem.
