Hey, when I add colour to the spline it turns dark in After Effects. I tried to add spot light in C4D and I can see it then in render but still black in AE. What am I missing? Btw, any chance you provide tutoring?

I'm having a problem, when I want to create a new file I get that some node resources are missing, and they open some files where those are missing, but I just started using Cinema 4D and I don't know how to solve that problem

"Your" client is Fiverr's customer, not your customer. The sooner you realize that the better. They obviously want to be the Amazon of freelancing (even Fiverr's choice badge is awkwardly similar to Amazon's choice). It doesn't mean you can't use the platform to your advantage.

No for real, Fiverr ruined the freelancing.

I just cant understand how a designer living in the United States can compete(economically wise) with some one living in Pakistan.

And that without mentioning the 15 DAYS YOU NEED TO WAIT after EACH completed order. Fiverr can eventually give you the Early Payout option, but will take it away without telling you why

This was such a good video! I found your channel through angrily typing on google 'fiverr ruined freelancing' and I decided to watch your other stuff. I've been feeling pretty fucking rough for the past few days after turning 25 and feeling like I've done nothing with my time. I really like your casual, down to earth tone your videos have because I feel like I'm actually being talked to like an adult instead of being shouted at, sold something, or someone simply trying to get views. I felt like every minute wasn't wasted and you weren't elongating it for youtube algorithmic reasons too.

Theres something weirder that Jezza made which NO ONE seems to recall and it's an animation of Bumblebee from transformers defecating on someone's head.

I have been doing professional photo editing and photo manipulation as well as graphic design for 15 years! I graduated college for it and I think I'm good at it considering I've made thousands of dollars through Upwork and I'm top rated. I have been on Fiverr for over 4 years and in that time I have barely earned $1300 in total. I did everything I could, set up SEO optimization on several occasions, made a lot of gigs, offered the maximum number of options to clients, from the most affordable to the slightly more expensive ones, and the business hardly moved. I barely got any orders, once a month and those were all requests worth $5 to $120 max. So I fully experience Fiverr at the level of a gypsy fair platform.

I was one of the first top sellers on there and it very quickly went to shit to be fair. Too much power to the customers and an over-saturated market happened around 2014-15 and it just wasn't worth it anymore.

They banned my account with 300+ 5 star reviews without even any warnings or reasons. I still don't know what I did wrong.

How to get people that will give me job on fiverr

I followed the tutorial, got my cinema 4d lite license activated and all looks well. But the C4D that opens just sais "Cinema 4D" and doesn't say "Lite". I also can not save because the save button is greyed out. It looks as though I am opening the regular Cinema 4D and not the Lite version. So how the hell do I open the Lite version? It doesn't appear in my applications folder.

Very little of the 'influencer' and affiliate content for these freelance sites is genuine. Upwork's structured more for buyers posting their needs and sellers submitting proposals and bids. And then sellers try to purchase placement in the heap of proposals per post. I'm not getting work anymore, so I'm getting sick of the hustle, honestly. It started out great. And then there's Fiverr, which expects you to market your ad/gig on social media. I wish I understood more how to use LinkedIn for what I do, without annoying people or adding more useless noise to the internet.

Amazing, Jim! Loved the comparison on what are the main things attention is driven on those sites. As someone who jump started and made a career through freelancing sites in the first place, here are few things: 1. Hourly is a punishment for your knowledge when you know very well what you are doing and you do that thing efficiently. Set higher hourly to offset that and watch how prospects amount goes down. No wins here. 2. There are many reasons why people do hire on freelancing sites, but below are kind of the main ones: ~ Cost savings; ~ Burning ass due to the approaching deadline. None of the above ones benefits the seller. Why? Because the amount of how hard the burning ass smells, is proportioned with the will of cost savings, haha! 3. Perfect past projects experiences & feedback is rarely valuable - because everyone thinks their project is UNIQUE and not something it was made multiple times in the past already. When in theory - feedback is what provide proofs. Old school it is, nowadays! :D On a brighter note, you get a chance to find projects which are interesting in many ways - but just because you found it, doesn't mean you will be hired. Not even sure how it would be possible to get hired nowadays without having proven portfolio on hand. That was a long one, sorry J! :D

I use to make thousands on Fiverr selling services I could copy/paste for multiple clients. Anytime someone wanted something new I would make it, then add it to my list of stuff. I only had to make a unique thing once for each niche & it worked VERY well, it was piss easy. I only stopped after getting banned & not caring enough to do it again. Now I just use Fiverr to find people to hire. Personally I hate the platform, I always try to take business off Fiverr as soon as possible because Fiverr's chat app sucks, & they don't support anonymous payment methods like Monero. Though I personally agree with most things Fiverr does, paying for a boosted listing seems perfectly fair, 20% cut, a bit excessive but its their service so if you don't like it, don't use it. So while I agree with their business practices, it won't stop me from personally hating them as a company.
