bro get me in too😭😭
First of all, thank you so much for making this video. There is barely any info on the M and T program online and this does help students get an idea of how to approach these essays. I got a quick question though: M&T Prompt 1: Explain how you will use the M&T program to explore your interest in business, engineering, and the intersection of the two. (400-650 words)* For this prompt, do you have to focus strictly on engineering in the sense of like building physicals objects? Can I not just talk about computer science? Do I need to include like straight engineering principles? Like could I explain how I will use M&T by intersecting business and computer science?
You can talk about CS, CS counts as engineering at Penn so it’s totally fine, and most M&Ts are CS majors
@@mostafadoesstuff got you, thanks!

Hey, Mostafa, great video and insightful tips! I'm currently taking Calculus AB and was thinking of self-studying Calc C and taking the AP test for BC because I don't want my GPA to go down taking BC as a class; what do you think about this? Also, just curious how much Wharton cares about AP tests because I'm taking a lot of APs this year, and there's a chance I won't score well on them due to how many I'm taking, but I still maintain an A grade for the class.
This is such a detailed video! I wish there was such helpful content out there for every school. Could you do a video for Upenn in general, not just Wharton? I want to go into engineering at UPenn!
I'll try to get to it, I have a lot of recorded videos that I need to edit, I just need to hire an editor at this point lol, but noted
@@mostafadoesstuff Thanks so much! Keep up the good work you're incredible :))
Thanks for making this guide video about huntsman program, I was looking to find the more in depth information about this program, but can you please tell what's the minimum language requirement in this program?, BTW that was little funny 6:08 😂
If you're asking about how well you need to speak a language in high school, I think 20:42 should answer your question in more detail than I can do in a comment. Within the program itself it's 4 semesters of language and a study abroad semester.

hlo Mostafa, I was born in a poor family in India and i didn't get exposure and opportunities from an early age. it is in the freshman year of school that i got access to internet. Now i am in junior year of high school. I have 4.0 gpa and i got 1550 on sat but i don't have as impressive extracurriculars(national, international achievements)as you(American guys) have. I am also aspiring to get into "Upenn's M&T programme" but i am feeling too low after i get to know about the ec's. Can you please guide me?
i’m gonna be honest, i have a friend in hs she had a 5.0w 4.0uw with a 1590 SAT and decent extracurriculars but not spectacular and she got rejected by big name schools like ivies but were accepted to still pretty good schools like university of washington, etc so have hope! everyone’s story is different so there isn’t a sure “guide” to get into college

Hey, first of all highly helpful video, keep the cool stuff up! Secondly I'm pretty interested in the Huntsman Program but the concern I have is that the one language I have studied extensively and am completely fluent in is Hindi, but coming from India I want to excel in some other language- so either I take up a new language like spanish or sm on duolingo and apply with that as my target language or submit hindi as the language as it's pretty spiked and switch it if I get accepted. What would you suggest? Moreover, If I decide to keep my target language Hindi, does the study abroad semester feature studying in India as that is the only country where the language is spoken?
Usually you want a unique reason to be doing your language. Duolingo isn’t enough to do a target language, and they’ll usually want to see intermediate level. If you can reach that and prove it with exams and ec’s that’s fine, it’s just unlikely to reach that level with duolingo alone. Hindi is fine but if you’re fluent why would you study if you know? At least that’s huntsman’s thought. If you have a compelling reason for wanting to study it and have unique ec’s, that’s fine, you can make it your target then switch. It’s better to do Hindi than a language you don’t have many extracurriculars with or a solid business plan. Remember, the main point of the program isn’t to get students fluent at a language, that’s what middlebury focuses on. It’s to get students to be able to use a language in business, particularly in a unique or uniquely beneficial use case. If you have that with Hindi, you can apply it, but just be careful so as to be unique with what you do with it/what you say you want to do with it

Bro can we switch it to engineering,😃 appreciate for reply!!
I’ve never seen anyone switch huntsman to engineering, but I suppose it’s possible to drop the college degree and add an engineering one. That would be an odd choice though, since like why did you apply to huntsman in the first place. Unless the thought process is to backdoor using huntsman and then try to transfer M&T/uncoord eng😂. It’s theoretically possible but I’ve never met anyone insane enough to try it😂
@@mostafadoesstuff the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do !!🙃jokes apart, but I gave a thought from a perspective of passionate engineering student who did it from backdoor just for sake to actually enter in engg through Huntsman I know it's crazy but still 🙃 Thanks for reply!!!✨
It is definitely crazy, but I guess if your ec’s aren’t as STEM focused, and you have some language background it might work out😂
MY GOAT!!!
Ty very much boss🫡
In terms of stats to get into a program like LSM, would you say an UW gpa of 3.9+ and being in the top 5-10% of your class meet the benchmark? Or would you need a perfect 4.0 and be valedictorian or close to it?
@@trishithsatyarepalle4795 dang. How did I forget to talk about stats😂. You don’t need perfect valedictorian to get into any top school. 3.9+ and a good SAT is enough for most unis so long as your ECs are strong. Of course the 4.0/1600 is better to have, but it really doesn’t make a huge difference at the top level.
@@mostafadoesstuff Okay that's a huge relief. Thank you!
please do one for huntsman as soon as possible
On it boss🫡
Hi, I wanted to know the foreign language requirements for Wharton. Do I need to take four years of foreign language in high school?
You do not! Generally no requirements besides what your high school requires, but Calculus is a really favored class. Take Calc BC if you can

bhuddism is pretty big in japan because of their trade with the middle east, so it'a possible that in all the trade between japan and the middle east the japanese language was influenced slightly by arabic and vice versa there's also a possibility that arabic and chinese were also mutually influenced in a similar way even before settlers went across the channel to japan
I have thought about that. I just did a presentation on similarities and discussed the trade influence. While I think it’s unlikely in this case, I think there was 1 article on linguistic influence
hold up, *let him cook.*
Abbreciate it bruzaa
Or they’re two different groups of people from two different cultures and time periods…🤔 Similarity≠same. Not coming at you, both cultures should be appreciated for what they are instead of extrapolating. The niqab has been traced back to thousands of years ago, predating Islam itself. Kunoichi were popularized in the 1960’s. Technically, that is the same time the niqab was embraced by modern Muslim cultures, but the history and application of these garments is drastically different
I appreciate the detailed comment, but I never said they were the same lol. Just a fun video in jest. I’m aware that the two are from different historical backgrounds, that’s what makes the video funny :)
@@mostafadoesstuff that’s fair, like I said, I wasn’t trying to come at you. I know a lot of people would’ve seen that video and never done any research into it themselves so I wanted to say something to the effect that they can be compared, but that there’s more context than, “they look similar.”
I mean, dude was prolly just making a joke.
@@Kwerimirewk how is that funny?

Will I get accepted to Wharton if I don't take advanced classes, but I get a good GPA, have a good essay, and get good SAT scores with extracurriculars?
I can't say for certain. Even perfect grades won't get you in alone, you need ECs and good writing. It depends on what your school offers, but generally you should be taking more advanced classes if you can. If you don't have them and it's application time, strong ECs and SAT can make up for it for sure, but it all depends on your application really. The answer is essentially it's not ideal, but still possible to get in, EC strength is hard to measure sometimes, and even if they are very strong, you need to communicate it well in your essays.
Harvard was actually just someone mishearing 'aardvark.'
lol, maybe I should use this for the next one😂
Yo i have a quick question! When u were talking abt consulting other people who got in and seeing what they wrote, do u think an effective strategy I could do is straight up connect with people on LinkedIn that got into the school and see if they share anything?
Nice vid like always 😂😂😂 first btw🥇
