I’m from LATAM and I didn’t have enough resources as I’m low-income, public high school and rural student. Based on my context I’d say I have amazing stats, but do you still recommend applying to LSM? It’s a perfect fit for me and as I’ve been searching there’s no LATAM alumni in LSM idk if that’s and advantage or disadvantage… D: what do you recommend?

As a high schooler, what specific ecs would you recommend focusing on? Would medical research, shadowing, and maybe EMT cadet be useful ecs to show that med side they are looking for?

In terms of stats to get into a program like LSM, would you say an UW gpa of 3.9+ and being in the top 5-10% of your class meet the benchmark? Or would you need a perfect 4.0 and be valedictorian or close to it?

@@trishithsatyarepalle4795 dang. How did I forget to talk about stats😂. You don’t need perfect valedictorian to get into any top school. 3.9+ and a good SAT is enough for most unis so long as your ECs are strong. Of course the 4.0/1600 is better to have, but it really doesn’t make a huge difference at the top level.
