I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Vampireleniore passed away in April 2019 at the age of 30. According to her now-defunct GoFundMe page, she beat the first cancer, but got it again less than a year later. Despite excruciatingly difficult treatment, including chemo, this rapid and aggressive form of cancer eventually metastasized. She got engaged to her longtime boyfriend after receiving the grim prognosis, but they never got to officially marry. I never knew her personally, but my heart went out to her and I spoke to her once on her DeviantArt account (which is still active in her memory), and I hope she's in a better place with no suffering now. R.I.P. :(

It's not a requirement to have tattoos and piercings to be goth. I don't have any tattoos and I don't have many piercings anymore. Also I have a hello kitty toothbrush... My bf isn't goth... He likes punk. And... I too have my real eyebrows.

I agree that Andrew Eldritch does have a attitude problem. I may not be a huge fan of Sisters Of Mercy but I do like the song "Marian," and I do appreciate them as musicians.

Reflecting on my first answer, I want to clarify that I mean interest in the music, the fashion, literature, lifestyle, etc. So, I liked all those things first and then the style followed when I was allowed. I was interested in all those things for a long time before I began to dress that way. The day that my friend dressed me up goth was the first time in my life that I felt I was truly expressing myself outwardly with my style. With that being said, I didn't have extensive knowledge of the music and history of goth yet (I was only 10-11 years old), but I did listen to goth music and enjoyed it (I was listening to Clan of Xymox, The Cure, The Mission, Switchblade Symphony, and other gems even around that age, so music has always had a huge place in my heart in the goth scene).

My mum doesn't like the way i dress, i don't care about what she thinks because i have been appart of the goth scene for 18 years and i think she's getting the message now that she has no power over me. My dad just thinks im into the same things i was 18 years ago which was alot of shitty early 2000s nu metal and emo crap like slipknot, evenesscence, i even liked manson until i found out he's not as intelligent and talented as an artist that he seems to be, he's done too meny cover vesions through out his career.

I don't like watching sports either, I hate watching sports, I tried to watch sports because my dad loves to watch sports, But no. I couldn't. Thankfully he understands that and he respects that. He's not a fan of my lifestyle, but he tolerates it.

I think my biggest ungoth confession is that I don't really care for Sisters of Mercy *Gasps* I tried to like them and I tried to listen to them but they are not my thing. Another big ungoth confession is that I love early 2000s pop music and I love EMO music. I do love Goth Music, but some Goth Music is a hit or miss for me. I also love to watch Disney movies, Cartoons and Anime. People will go "Why do watch cartoons? Your 20 years old, your an adult! Your to old for Cartoons and Anime." Sorry. I can't hear you.
