Just a weird kid who goes gym and makes videos
My name is Josef, I'm 20, have been going to the gym for a fair few years, recently qualified as a PT and have now been on youtube for around 3 years and I absolutely love it.
I'm just trying to make some entertaining fitness content doing whatever weird fun stuff I can think of that's at least somewhat related to fitness, not strictly gym based weight training stuff but fitness as a whole. If you think you need fof volume you are not doing the workout properly. I eorked out on nautilus machines in the eighties and admitedley those machines raised the intensity but a properly performed set to actual failure which tbh requires a training partner who can see when you are cheating floors the muscle. I did 12 exersises with small rest inbetween and made the best gains ever. But also if you want the muscle to grow you need to give it time to rest and the fuel in terms of extra calories. Its not complicated and it never will be its just damn hard work. And some people cant do it.

For my soccer team we run 10 and back 20 and back 30 and back 40 and back 60 and back. 5 times. Or more depending on if we did anything stupid.

This is good but the underlying principle can only really be measured over an extended period of time... The weights are also too low to see significant progress in my opinion. Even Mike Mentzer could bench 4 plates at 15 years old before learning about this training philosophy...

That exercise is not goofy, It's purposes is to build explosiveness. Please keep in mind that everyone has different goals when going to the gym.

Did you know that PEDs were legal back when Casey did this experiment and very easy to get. Just ask your doctor for a prescription and go to the pharmacy. And you are correct in assuming that the body fat percentage at the end of the experiment was way off. It was not 2.4% as reported but in fact it looked like Casey picked up a little body fat during the 28 days. Great video. Glad you tried it out.
