If you hook them backwards you don’t need to be working on your call at all….. you think every car just blows a fuse when you hook it backwards this isn’t a one fix all. a lot of systems completely fry or burn up a lot of low voltage stuff. For god sake quit working on your car if you need to go to TH-cam for everything. It’s scary that they sell tools to anybody. I pray if you have kids common sense is one gene that you give them that you don’t have, they might get lucky but you missed out on that drop lol

did same mistake,replace the fuse,but what about the new battery,should i replace the battery ?

Can you please help me I was changing my battery to a new one is Nissan Murano 2009 and when I took the old battery out and put the new one in for some reason I put the + first then - as soon I try to hook up the - there was a smoke somewhere in center the I unhook the - that smoke stops, it was cold outside and I didn't pay attention when I was taking out the old battery is it possible that I put the battery wrong please help me thank you,?

Does your jump pack have a reverse polarity alarm? Some of them will detect reverse polarity as soon as you attach the clamps alerting you to switch them around before you turn the unit on. I also have the Viking lithium ion jump starter pack that won't let you jump the car if the cables are on backwards and it will sound an alarm when you press the engine start button.

Most cars don't have a fuse and blow the brain...

What wire strippers did you use, the ones I got doesn't have any sizes small enough for the inner wires

ok so i think my buddy hooked up his end wrong an i checked IOD fuse an others an no blown fuse but nothing inside works … did i blow a fuse or did he just steal my charge ? nothing works now but all the ones i could pull out looked clean an i can’t find any burnt wires it was a split second i turned my key ab everything went black
