You do nice work and are a great teacher
He'll like the stand a little bit better if you can get it a tiny bit closer so he has to raise his knee a bit
First experience for a colt is like a kids first trip to the dentist,it often sets the stage for the rest of their life
Nicely done 😊
What part of Idaho are you in?
Great video!!! Keep em coming!
New subscriber. Your patience and firm guidance is so wonderful ❤
That was well shown
Really nice !
Always took issue with that term"Natural Horsemanship". What Is "Horsemanship". Its the relationship, between man and Horse. Forking a Horse, is not "Natural" to either human or Equine and is not Natural to either species anatomy. Putting tools, to their hooves is not "Natural either. The only "Natural" relationship between man and horse is, Man hunts and eats Horse and Horse Evades that scenario. Like it or Not.. I agree, its a marketing Gimmick and the term was never used by the men that brought the methods to the Masses.
So, so true. I've been riding colts for 50 years and a few years ago I had a bad horse sorta break an egg in me. Not only did he mess with my head but I had to dig pretty deep to fid the courage to press on. I had always used Ray Hunts methods but let me tell you I had to rethink a lot of things and make some changes to get by some horse now in my 60s
I’ve known Travis for about 25 years, he’s the real deal, love the unhurried approach, great lesson. Brought back a lot of good memories 😊
I am going to change what I am doing with my horse based on what you said here. My horse says thank you 🙂
That is really nice and I subscribed before it was even over.
Thanks for stopping by!
I love coffee time with T Ditty and Mama!❤

Thank you, appreciate you stopping by!
😂 Hey Travis. Tell us another story. Maybe something bout being an ask hole. Good to see ya señor!
Will do bro!
Isn’t it funny how it’s always easiest to catch the one you don’t want.
Outstanding.... Good Job.
Had my horses in huge paddock just called they came running
Can you put a link to where these halters can be purchased?
Yes, thank you for your interest! We'll let you know how to order as soon as possible.
So gentle way of communicating.
Keep up the good work
I like hat !
Nice story. Bout ready to start night checking myself here in a few days . Gonna get cold here by Thursday and I’ve got a few springin
Don't catch the horse. Let the horse catch you. It is all about body language, the horse's language.
Thanks Travis
Can you do a video on making a rope halter ?
Awesome instructions, Travis. Very informative and even for us that don't have horses but appreciate them, especially mustangs.
Excellent information sir. I’ve drawn the same conclusions on my own just handling a number of horses. Love the knot on the end of the halter! Genius sir! Thank you for the work you do sharing these videos. Subscribed, and anticipating the next video!
Really enjoyed this video. Good information too.
Good video and I agree, horses do remember things, or they wouldn't be able to survive in the wild as they do.
How did i get here 🤷 nice video!
Awesome intro Trav! 👏 💚
This is awesome Travis !
Nice.
Thank you! Cheers!
Arent you that feller from the mustang millionaires.

I'm thinking about adopting a TIP horse. But it's kind of intimidating. Great video.
What breed is this horse?
a mustang
I got a mustang horse she is almost 3 years old
I have rescued a mustang Arabian cross , beautiful gelding , but ima need ya to pray for me. The last owners said he will jump a 4 foot pen clean. No problem . Just to great you. Yes he’s in a 6ft pen now lol 😂 I was like nope. The attitude of a Arabian but the spirit and love of a mustang. Yes we have a rope halter too. Lol
I love your boots
You are a great person to help us with our new Mustangs but let me tell you something that or those helicopter people I just want to punch him right in the mouth and you tell him if I ever see him another horses or foal again I'm going to kick him right in the balls
Can u do a tutorial on some of theses things like the pivot?
