I remember seeing this and as an Oklahoma City native, this still hurts to this day.
Boomers Boomers QU 4 life
Texas really sucks and I wish OU was still in the Big Twelve all no with Nebraska!!!
The half back pass was genius. Dean Blevins was great. The Okla/Neb rivalry was the best ever.
Damn his NBA n college career his music is so fire...if you r a jazz fan you gonna love it
Iconic play in an otherwise bad season for OU. No Orange Bowl but a bowl against Wyoming instead.
Sooner Magic was born in 1975 when OU played Missouri.
You can tell listening to Wayman he was a beautiful human being. F Cancer.
Awe the days of the big eight and big twelfth!!! Would have been better without Texas!!!!!!
Awe the days of the wish bone offense those were great days and great games!!!!
😢😢😢😢
I grew up in Enid Oklahoma and I watched him since he was a freshman at Oklahoma he was such an inspiration we all loved him I can't even finish watching this feature on him it breaks my heart
I remember Wayman Tisdale he was a great basketball player but he was also a great musician as well. He was not Bill Russell or anything like that but he was an important figure. A lot of Basketball players today do not have what Wayman Tisdale had he was a positive person. He had a positive outlook of life. He was a role model. He also had a lot of talents. He wasn’t the best dunker around but he could help players score when it was needed. He was like the go to man on the team when it was needed. He was the man that could score when it was needed.
RIP..
I remember Elvis Peacock from Central High School in Miami, he had blazing speed.
76’ Boomer Sooner! I think the magic started a long time ago tho. Boomer!
Wayman had the biggest smile ever
RIP
Elvis is in The House!!!!
Chris Lincoln. Those are the days!
Bradford has helped these people on reservations love him ❤ more standouts
He's got blood a lot he's a beast in college he was a decent college player 👌 love him as a ambassador
He seems to be so much more 😔 he looks way more
He seems to have way more growing up he's my hero
His death still hurts. His beautiful music will continue to live on. Hope he's resting in peace. God bless him and his family. 🙏❣️🙏❣️
WT will be missed as a basketball player and an musician and yes that cool guy smile
And now OU and Texas are about to leave the Big 12 for the SEC
Go OKLAHOMA SOONERS!!!🙏✊😎
He ain’t Tiny & he’s more than a Gallon.
Ayoooooooo 🥰💕💕💕💕💕💕 What’s Up 👸🏾👸🏾 🔥💕💕💕💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💕🔥💕 I remember the WORK 💪🏾⛹🏾♀️💪🏾 RESPECT 🔥 Y’all had me 🤣😂 takin shots at each other ⛹🏾♀️⛹🏾♀️💕💕💕💕 Much ❤️
I wish his NFL would have been better for him but God has other plans for him. God bless him and everyone in 2021 and beyond. BOOMER!!
Colt McCoy should have one it
I shed a tear the minute on a Saturday morning I heard the news.
Thomas Lott, inventor of "swag" on the football field
GREAT MEMORIES OF THE SOONERS GROWING UP IN TULSA AREA. .STILL HARDCORE FAN,EVEN THOUGH I NOW LIVE IN NE MINNESOTA!

Rest in Paradise Wyman Tisdale 💜💜💜💜💜💜💝💖 Talented man💜💜💜
That was the year we went to the OB at Miami and got the snot be out of us by Arkansas😖🤨🤬😢☹️😡
That OB was 1978. The 76 season was a 3-way tie for the Big 8 championship. OU went to the Fiesta Bowl.
Also Olympic gold medal in Basketball in 1984.
Nebraska did win 5 big 8 championship in the 70's
Only 2 were outright, split 3 with the Sooners.
got dam i hate the phuck out of cancer...
Should have been Pat White.
sooners owned the big 8 in the 1970's. oklahoma had their fair share of great players, but switzer always raided texas of their best players.
70, 71, 72, 75, 78 , Nebraska8 big 8 champs.
@@donnybusenbark5670 uh yeah, sooners won the big 8, 9 years straight from 1972 - 1980, 3 of those corndog championships were co-champion with the sooners... but yeah, we used to go to nebraska for ski trips. www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&id=CFDD8C62E4B9E00773309541223D419FBD770376&thid=OIP.sidUw2ZoCFHVfT37B6CwrAHaHa&mediaurl=http%3A%2F%2Fimg1.etsystatic.com%2F000%2F0%2F6188886%2Fil_570xN.258036755.jpg&exph=570&expw=570&q=ski+nebraska+poster&selectedindex=0&ajaxhist=0&vt=0&ccid=sidUw2Zo&simid=608053002338829370&sim=11
@@donnybusenbark5670 A most bizarre statement.
@mwduck That Nebraska won the big 8 title 5 times in the 70's?
Yes my cousin wayman was very spiritual our family has deep christain roots😀
Got to see him play at Seabreeze Jazz just after he had his leg amputated. Loved his perseverance. One of the greats.
Can't believe it's been 10 years exactly since his death. My favorite player and musician. Had that infectious smile.
Loved Wayman I went to his Tribute Jazz cruise back in 2010 and always went to his concerts.
As a Husker fan, I was devastated after that loss. They had some great teams back then, and even though we often came out on the short end in our games with OU, I truly miss that rivalry.
Ok, but who asked
@@oklahomasoonersfootball Your mother, I believe.
I would like to see another team doing the wishbone offense
Though from Omaha, I was 9-years old watching this game on TV in Chicago at my grandma's house. I remember being crushed.
