You're better off getting a Town Car or Grand Marquis out of the gate. I own several CVPIs and a few rare SAPs as well. They are sudden disappointments. If the transmission doesn't fail you, the engine will. While none of this may not be catastrophic, none of it will be cheap to fix. I actually put a 4.6 2v out of a 2010 Town Car with 40k miles in my 2011 CVPI SAP recently. $800 for the motor and another $800 to have a shop put it in.

you need to get that car on a dyno and get real tune, i seen your drag races and that car has alot still in it, it could run 11s atleast

If you remove the radiator fan the front one will come off without having to remove the oil filter. Thats if you are doing this job without a lift.

Hi, long shot you’ll see this, but I have a f-250 2014 with satellite radio, without lights, with airbag, and for the life of me cannot find a 2003ish harness for a reasonable price, do you think I could just buy a new 17-22 year harness for the lights from gorecon? And do the same method you did here? I’m not positive it uses the same pigtails that connect to the actual cablights is why I ask. Thank you

Great video. I agree, at speed you feel you can keep it under you. I have a '05 and at a hundred it feels solid. I put after market swaybar bushings front and rear. Polyurethane bushings. That made I big difference in handling. They're not a racecar, but they will run and if you take care of it, it will last long after the Charger falls apart.

I agree brother recently retired and I had to get one. I miss it from on the job. To me after being a leo for 30 years best car I ever drivin I can't stand the SUV the only thing I will give credit to newer cruisers is all wheel drive for winter time. I live in Ct and have bad winters. I ended up getting my vic at auction w a pushbar love it. Stay Safe

At 5:55, you say those seats are "big"? You still have room for the center console! Try an LX's seats for size, when I have both front seats in my car ('95 LX) I'm not sure if I have a 2 part bench seat or 2 seats with 3 sets of seatbelts.

I always love seeing the crown vics in service when I visit the Indy area. I usually see at least one in the fishers area.

Please clarify what you mean when you say “police interceptor sedan” as opposed to the crown Vic. I’ve had two crown VICS myself and they were both police interceptors. 98 and 06.
