BACH PRELUDE SUITE N.2 ON BARITONE SAX
This Bach prelude accompanied me during all my music studies. I passed the CNSM's audition with this piece in 2015, and I always have something new to learn when I play it.
« New Vision Project » is a collaboration with Etienne Vaillend. Through a series of videos, it will try to depict a personal artistic vision. It will include works that have a strong link between one another for me. This project will also show a common vision between video and music. All the works make sense in my personal artistic life and research of an artistic way. It’s a way to discover yourself and understand your own vision of art, with a new vision which tries to break some traditional musical codes.

This Bach prelude accompanied me during all my music studies. It represents the passage from one work to another, from one desire to another. It was filmed in one shot to give continuity to the music and to move from one point to another without stopping. « New Vision Project » is a collaboration with Etienne Vaillend. Through a series of videos, it will try to depict a personal artistic vision...

Hésitation for Baritone Saxophone - Maxime Bazerque

« Hésitation » for Baritone Saxophone solo Cette composition représente mon état actuel dans cette situation si complexe. Complexe sur le plan sanitaire de notre planète, mais complexe sur le plan humain et personnel également. Nous sommes tous confrontés à nous-même comme nous ne l’avions jamais été au paravant, tout est décuplé, la moindre sensation devient énorme. C’est une période de silenc...

Gabriel Fauré - Elégie op.24 for cello and piano in C minor arranged for baritone saxophone and piano. Played by Ulysse Le Beuze (piano) and Maxime Bazerque (baritone saxophone). This piece is originally for cello and piano, but played on baritone saxophone, we can find a different color (differents dynamics) and a kind of power. wow as someone who plays bari this is beyond impressive this is unbelievable
Just bought the piece after seeing you play it, I was in a different browser so unfortunately I didn't use your link, but thank you for all of the inspiration to always aspire to be a better saxophonist!
Damn son! After 30 years of not playing, I just purchased a new Bari and have started practicing again. Inspiring to find and listen to your playing. Keep up the fantastic work of being at the top of your craft and inspiring others to do the same!
Very nice interpretation, well appreciated.
where can i get the sheet?
his altissimo register is incredible!!!
Pięknie to brzmi na barytonie!
wow
Amazing! Bravo!!!
It literally sounds like you’re seamlessly switching between an alto, tenor, and bari. So incredible
NICE dark rich tone!! The best of the bari!
what sax and mouthpiece is this? Lovely sound! It sounds like multiple saxes in one because of the wide tone warmth and clarity.
That was beautiful, but could you please explain to me why throughout that whole walk not one person reacted or listened, I find that very odd.
Yo Yo Ma's greatest hit!
🇧🇷🫡👏🏻
🇧🇷🫡👏🏻
I WANT TO KNOW YOUR REED CARE ROUTINE 😭😭🙏
i nearly died playing this, its basically doing exercise playing this on the baritone
I've always thought there is not enough classical saxophone out there, and this confirms it.
Great to find this. It's something I wanted to be able to play when I was young but never developed enough skill.
Damn! that multiphonics control makes you a Devil's Saxophonist as much as Paganini was a Devil's Violinist. Awesome!
I feel like the sounds of the keys have been removed.
you can hear it tho in some extent
очень круто!🔥🔥🔥
MAGNIFIQUE. EXTREMEMENT MUSICAL VOTRE INTERPRETATION. BISES, DE UN SAXOPHONIST BRÉSILIEN. ROBERTO SION.
how
Astounding!! Congratulations 👏👏👏
Superb!
Play the saxphone in style of armenian Similar to duduk
I would love to know/purchase this version of sheet music.
Great video man! Would you follow us? Take a look at our cases!
I’m actually in disbelief. This is so incredible!
someone actually did it.
the rendition is beautiful, almost sounds like a cello, but the video made me dizzy :(
i love this guys format
beautiful! what equipment and reeds do you use?
From what I've found on his channel, he plays on vandoren 3 reeds, and a Selmer Serie II, I don't remember the mouthpiece, but if you're curious just look at his No. 24 Paganini Caprice video, he answers your question on one of the comments.
What mouthpiece and reeds do you use? amazing
Incroyable performance ! Pourriez vous joindre un pdf de votre arrangement svp ?
I think that the Baritone Saxophone is really intended to be the Cello of the Saxophone family.
yes
Now play the blues Billy
Absolutely incredible.
Это супер ох.уительно!
I think baritone sax is the "Magnum Opus" of saxophones and possibly even woodwinds altogether. It's big enough to hit impactful lows and keep rhythm but just small enough to have altissimo with extreme clarity (given someone can control it). A truly versatile and beautiful instrument. Fantastic performance, sir!

Wunderbar! Danke!
I've never heard a baritone saxophone being played like that with such dark and beautiful classical sound. This was the exact style of tone I've been searching for!!! Thanks for sharing your voice with us.
Do you know John surmann?
My new paint-to- music music. A little more focus on the fingering though would be so much appreciated. Plus there's a lot to be said about the split screen shots. My first thought was an old book " The Eden Express" by Mark Vonnegut.
Wow!…
Your personal feeling while playing this must be amazingly satisfying. Perfection indeed!
