Kinda funny how the pearl had powers in movie 1 then after that it's just a ship faster than most others despite being full of holes, damage, and tattered sails. Everyone jack wants to flee from after 1st movie can catch the pearl and seems able to sink it at will. It's not like the pearl was cursed cause it didnt bleed back any blood to b free of the curse. So how does it not sink with cursed crew in fights after yrs and lose said protection unless Davy jones also kept the pearl from sinking after raising it for jack until his 10 yr deal was up ... hmmm curious

While then crew is immortal the pear isn’t. Why else did they run from the dauntless rather than attack it to retrieve the last coin? They knew the pearl stood no chance against the dauntless and it would be sunk before they could get close enough to even board and they would be stuck in the middle of the ocean with no ship.

This film would have been rated R today and not PG-13 back then. Making this one Disney's first R rated films based off one of their rides in the parks. Funny enough some parts of the world rated it R mostly for the violence. Not a problem with the film itself, something that might happen if it got re-released in theaters again and was given a different age rating.

I really love how Jack throws a sword at Will…despite the fact that Will’s hand are currently tied behind his back😂
