I own my own publishing company SIDE HUSTLE PUBLISHING LLC which is registered with the secretary of state in the state of New York as a limited liability company. I registered with ASCAP as a songwriter using my birth name Fabian Cummings and as a publisher using my LLC name SIDE HUSTLE PUBLISHING LLC. I used my social security number to sign up with ASCAP as a songwriter and my LLC tax ID to sign up for my publisher account. I have a chase business checking account for SIDE HUSTLE PUBLISHING LLC I setup direct deposit with ASCAP for my publishing royalties to go to my chase business checking account. is this the correct way to do it? or am i missing something? Thank you.

Great help on clarifying what SoundExchange should be doing themselves.. 🤨 On those boxes where a red X shows,Countries of First Release / Territories Of Collection Rights.., this makes the status "Invalid" for me. So I ended up having to just leave the box clear. Hopefully it will allow to make an edit later, because that is leaving a lot of money on the table. And.. For "Release Label", Are you saying that it's OK to put your name instead of Distrokid or Tunecore..? I think I saw somewhere in their many sections of entry that the label gets 50% ? Even if that's true, Distrokid , Tunecore.. would forward the 50% to me anyway, knowing full well that it is not theirs to keep. - Thanks again!
