    But as I understand correctly, the unswap conversion tracking is dedicated to the Mobile website, and the swap version is for the Descop website. Could you clarify it?

    • @ppcmarketingtoolbox
      @ppcmarketingtoolbox 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! It will swap for both the mobile and desktop site That is why setting up phone number click tracking is redundant if you use the swap method

    • @vladislavpuzikov397
      @vladislavpuzikov397 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ppcmarketingtoolbox , But swap phone number is only available via "Call to a phone number on your website" conversion and "Google Ads Calls from website convention" tag. Only in this case, we can add our website number, which should be swapped. As for Call to a phone number on your Mobile website" conversion, we don't have such an option. And if I got it correctly, we need to track the mobile call button that can appear only on mobile devices.

    does tag manager is a must ? can we just track them within google ads via the code they gave us?

    • @ppcmarketingtoolbox
      @ppcmarketingtoolbox 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can add the code to your website instead if you prefer. The benefit of tag manager is that you can organize your tags all in one place, and not need to edit your website code each time you make changes to your conversion tracking. All changes can be done within Tag Manager and do not need a web developer.

    Hey there, I have been wondering, for the dynamic swap, if I have other buttons that have the tel link embed to them, if google doesn't find the actual phone number on the button, it will not track the conversion?

    • @ppcmarketingtoolbox
      @ppcmarketingtoolbox 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will only do the swap for the exact phone number that the tracking was set up for, and not other numbers. It will also only swap for Google ads traffic and not all traffic

  • @alexio6205
    @alexio6205 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi, I don't understand the dynamic swap method. If you have only one phone number, there's really no need to swap. Can you please give a little more details for the usage? Thanks and great video :)

    • @ppcmarketingtoolbox
      @ppcmarketingtoolbox 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, the reason you would want to use the dynamic swap, is to track phone call conversions based on phone call duration. The Swap method allows google to know how long the phone call was, and allows you to track conversions only for calls that are above a set amount of seconds that you set (ex. 30 or 60 seconds). This is a more reliable form of tracking than a phone click tracking, because it is not guaranteed that a person who clicked the number completed a call.

    How do I track calls for Google Ads? I have designed a landing page for my clients using WordPress and Elementor. It has two buttons basically 1 - "Schedule your free consultation" and 2 - "The phone number itself". I want to track how many calls I generate for my client through the landing page. I know how to set up conversion tracking through Google ads and the "install the tag yourself" option. But my concern is, will it really track if a visitor clicks on either of those buttons? Or do I have to add some coding or something to the buttons as well to be able to properly track the calls? I followed a youtube channel's tutorial on Google Tag manager and now I am even more confused.

    • @ppcmarketingtoolbox
      @ppcmarketingtoolbox 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! If it is not a tel: link, you can instead use the Click Text Trigger instead of Click URL Trigger. Then you will set your Click Text condition to equal the phone number.

    Good Video. But also u should have mentioned- how to Exclude people who have already taken action like {Submitted-lead-form}. That would fulfill the remarketing purpose - from my perspective.

    • @ppcmarketingtoolbox
      @ppcmarketingtoolbox 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! That depends, if your goal is to capture a lead, then stop advertising to them then yes you can do this. But in most cases, you want your leads to get to sales people warm, and having seen a lot of your ads and messaging. So it's usually better to not do this, to help with the nurturing process. A lead is just a lead. Continuing to market to leads from resource downloaders, or webinar attendees, will make them more likely to book a demo. In summary, you can do this, but in most cases I don't. In large accounts, I actually create a segment for these types of leads more aggressively to give them even more budget for book a demo ads.

    Sucn a terrific explanation, THANK YOU for taking the time to make this! 🤗 A bit more on the topic: say I have three specific outbound links which I want to track within three separate campaigns. Do I then need 3 triggers with separate element ID's (link IDs) and 3 additional instances of the insight tag 2.0? What if I want to have the same setup also for 3 FB campaigns, does this mean yet another 3 Meta tags with these specific triggers? :) I know that GA automatically tracks these "usual" events and extracts classes, ID's and other useful info about the event, do Linked in and Meta pixels not do it this way?

    • @ppcmarketingtoolbox
      @ppcmarketingtoolbox ปีที่แล้ว

      You could create 3 triggers, and 3 LinkedIn Ads conversions (each outbound click has it's own conversion) if that information is valuable to you. You could also have a single Trigger fire on all outbound social clicks ex. Click URL Contains "facebook OR Instagram OR Linkedin, and then have a single LI Ads conversion Tag Named "Outbound Social Clicks" or something like that. Up to your preference for consolidated or granular data! In all cases, (insight tag, pixel, google ads remarketing tag) you need to only install it once, but make sure the tag fires on all pages.
