Good info
Glad you found it useful! 👍🏼
Nice little pig-sticker
YES!
I just got some of these today. 10.99 on Amazon. But they are 14.99 now. I don't like the hard clicky. Also gets really hot on high. Also doesn’t work with my keeppower 14500 protected cells. Probably going to send them back.
Hey dont be mad. I know how you benchmade fans love being teased
Who would go through the trouble to fake such a knife? Id go with the fake.... More bang for your buck and no less quality
CHINA.
@TheEverydayPilgrim3 lol trump..."China" that's what I thought hahaha. Sarcasm btw Chinese copy's aren't worth the 💰
I like the functions on the Archer but I don’t think it’s worth upgrading from my Saber. If it had a replaceable battery then I would. As it stands if the battery goes bad on my Saber I can just replace it with another 14500 or run it on AA. Unfortunately the Archer doesn’t have that option.
Agreed! I think the Saber is a great option!
I have one luxrul bag I got in 2022, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Had mine for just over a month now. Best flashlight I've ever owned. All my other flashlights have been retired to a drawer.
I like hearing that!!! Thanks for watching.
Outstanding review, I have the THRUNITE ARCHER PRO V2 in the Red color. I love it so much I just purchased another one in the Orange color from Amazon. I only paid $16.99 for each of them and that's a great deal in my opinion.
4:49 what were those edc pliers called (I couldn't make out what you said)? Thank you.
@@jeffkraftchak9623 hey Jeff! Thanks for watching and the question. The Knipex 4” pliers. They are awesome! Check them out: www.amazon.com/dp/B08DL764J3/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_JGAV6VTVEW8P9YAK4B73?linkCode=ml2&tag=thejordanbaxt-20
I bought the 5 inch ones after breaking two leatherman pliers. Thr knipex are so much more useful its not even funny. They are a real tool that can do real work. I recommend the 5" over the 4". Most who have had both would agree. I cant recommend them enough.
Thanks for the review. Why didn't you fully open the compartment to where the firearm is stored?
Thanks for the comment! Some "things" are worth keeping private :)
Need more light, video too dark.
@@vypersoft1 thanks for watching and the feedback! Will do. 🙌🏼
But can you use it to refill the iso tank?
Unfortunately not (different fuel type). However, I have a video coming up that I believe will spark your interest in relation to filling an Iso tank ;) Thanks for watching!!
First 2-½ minutes of this video could be covered in about 10 seconds. It's an adapter for affixing isobutane stoves to a propane tank. There. Done. Good grief.
Copy that. Thanks for watching and the feedback!
Something else I need now. Thanks man

Sweet bags!
Thanks Jacoby! A useful item for everyday carry! 👏
Good afternoon from NC.1st time watching one of your videos. Will like & subscribe.I’m interested in finding & buying a good quality clone.Probably a 940. Not looking for a counterfeit with the butterfly & all.Just want to try out that blade style 1st .Make sure it works for me before making the investment .I usually prefer a drop point blade & a smaller knife. Pretty much the exact one you have there ,with the partially serrated blade is a knife that I’d choose . I especially like/want the small Parkerized deep carry pocket clip.Think that is what you have on your knife.?.correct? I will go back and pay attention to the video and look into the sku # on the website or something.Want a real BM eventually. It’s just not in the budget at the moment.Have been getting a bunch of texts from BM ,so I tapped on the link the other day when they released the newest orange & black models in the 940 line.they are nice looking.A bunch of people complain about the price they charge.I don’t want to be in that category(No one is forcing anyone to buy any name brand premium product,be it knife, pair of shoes or anything else. )BUT ,went back to the BM website a few days later & ,if I’m not mistaken,BM raised the price of the new model by $30 a couple of days of the release. I could be wrong about that.. But if not, that seems like BM sprinkling a pinch of salt on a open wound of their brand loyal followers/customers.Hard to understand is all. Anyway…This all started because I recently (2-3 weeks ago)started noticing & got interested in getting 1st axis lock type knife.Never really noticed them before for some reason.Of course, that lead me straight to BM .They were the ones who came up with that lock type 1st ,from what I’ve heard. Thx for sharing & take care.
Not making the strap long enough for cross body was the biggest mistake the extender the sell is also a mistake it puts a buckle on your back which is not ideal for off body carry. However if they make this bag with a longer strap take all my money. Good video bro.
You know, that’s a great point! I didn’t address the length or cross body carry... The XL comes with the extender buckle, but I took it off because I didn’t like the extra buckle feel either. I’ve settled with the Fanny carry method. Maybe there will be a version two in the feature?! Let me know Eberlestock! 😅 Thanks for watching and the comment! 👍🏼
Be a man, and wear your purse around your waist 😂!!!
@@rlaw2hahahah!
Short guy here and it wear a well cross body for me haha
@@newtypeJP Glad it works for you!!
Too bad the v2 pro can’t swap out batteries.
I FULLY agree! That would make it much more flexible.
Got a fake one, but I like it any anyhow for very light tasks.
Was is an eBay purchase too? Thanks for watching!
Well i would never buy a knive on ebay or Amazon.just won't.
I think that's a wise decision... Unless you get it from the official Benchmade dealer through Amazon. Thanks for watching and commenting David!
The darker OD green on the clone looks better.
I am with you on this...!! haha. Thanks for watching!
Only buy from a reputable dealer.. eBay is full of fakes! I report every one I see.. 😮
Smart move! Thanks for watching!
Why not get your money back from eBay. I just ordered a bugout carbon fiber. As soon as i get it if its fake i will contact eBay. They should definitely cover that
Good point! I contacted the seller first and told him i was reporting him to EBAY if i didn't get a full refund, he immediately did!
I won't ever could buy a knife off Ebay. I get it people have budgets but come on end of the day your buying a knife just buy it brand knew off a reputable website.
Yeah a lesson hard learned.... thankfully I got a refund, but you are right!
if you say to yourself, oh thats a good price for a benchmade, its fake
Good point!
On the outside of the box of the fake Benchmade you will find the sticker is usually shiny, there are often discrepancies in the data such as no manufacture date, incorrect model number, etc. Always check out the font on the lettering on the outside of the box. Most obviously the “C” in Benchmade. It will be completely round and real ones have “flats” on the left side of the “C”. Most blatantly will be the T9 torx on the pivot screw. Benchmade is always a T10. If anyone looks at the knives in this video it will be quite obvious. I cannot think of anything else that was not covered in this fine video.
Inzide the sides of the box are a giveaway too
Good eyes Bobby! Thanks for watching!
Very sorry to hear about the scam blade some thief sold you, but the blame and shame is all his and, he will receive what’s coming to him for his crimes. The better information is to know where to buy authentic products rather than attempt to decipher a fake from an original. Knowing what to look for in an original is really all that matters.
Thank you! I must naive, as it never occurred to me there would be imposters amongst the genuine! If it weren’t for your vid, I could’ve easily made the same mistake! Makes me wonder about Amazon now!!
I could tell which was fake before the boxes were even opened. For anyone that couldn't catch from just the box then the second the box is opened its IMMEDIATELY obvious. Both the way the booklet is folded as well as the foam inside. Counterfeit companies simply can not mimic the internal foam cutout and style. If you ever come across a fake with the proper protective foam then someone has taken the real knife out and switched it with a fake.
Agreed! The hard think is IF someone doesn't know exactly what to look for. Whether that be their first Benchmade, or the pictures make it look like the real deal. People can and do switch the boxes with a real one, so knowing what to look for at eh actual knife is important. hanks for the comment. Cheers.
eBay is like 50% knockoff Bugouts from what I can tell. One thing you didn’t point out and a dead-giveaway- the model number on the fakes is often or always just “535”. The 535 should only be the basic blue, anything else should be 535-something. Great video, I hate all the fakes out there. And reporting them to eBay like I do constantly is often fruitless as they don’t seem to care about the authenticity. It’s a damn shame.
Thank you for this R2! Great point here. Thank you for reporting these as well.
That's true!
The Archer Pro V2 is close to my perfect EDC light, just a pity it doesn't tail stand
That's a good thought! I think an improved tailswitch would make this the perfect option. The current one is very sensitive and rounded. If they put a modified Saber tailswitch on this, I think it would be perfect.
Good thing is that you can order directly from benchmade and or from reputable online dealer
That's exactly right, Greg! I wish I had been more careful and had this knowledge before buying this on eBay... However, I hope to help others be aware of these copies out there, and purchase wisely. *** I forgot to mention, I reported this fake to the seller, and he gave me my full refund!
Fakes on the right
You are correct!👍
Let’s goo haha tbh biggest giveaway was the box but the fake is honestly really good
who cares for the steel used for the blade when the lock and scales are not sturdy enough for anything serious. I only cut paper boxes with my bugouts anyway. but I am also in EU and do not see the point of importing an overpriced knife from US if I can get something like a Kizer Gemini for half the price that is much sturdier
I believe the steel is super important if cuttability, edge retention, longevity, etc. matters to the end user. I'd agree that it is not the sturdiest EDC knife, but its lightweight feel is super nice for normal UDC (urban day carry) use. My Benchmade Griptilian, or a solid fixed blade would be much better for serious outdoor application.. Yes, I think the price is too high also, it should be $100-125 US range in my mind. Overall a great construction, but I'd be interested in stronger metal (aluminum) OD scales perhaps... Cheers!
I'm glad that you like Kizer knives, I love mine as well. However, I think that you have made a great argument in favor of the Bugout. While cutting "paper boxes" the edge geometry and blade steel are of great importance for efficient slicing and the lock and scales also are standing up to the task. Stay sharp my friend!
Good word!@@jimmiecrowe520
They did a dam good job on that one
Scary! I know. Got to be careful out there.
Good to know! Nice video man 👍
Thanks! 👍
The saber looks identical to a acebeam pokelit
Thanks for the comment! The Acebeam Pokelit does look very similar, your right. Do you have one? Thoughts on it? The specs show that the Acebeam Pokelit has 550 Lumens on High and the ThruNite Saber has 659 Lumens on High. These would both be great in a head-to-head comparison!
@@ThePracticalPilgrim3 yes I have the high cri pokelit! It’s a very nice flashlight I caught on sale for like $16. I also have their tac AA that I like even better. I have an old trunite t10 that I have carried for years I still use.
@@slomango7927 does the Pokelit have low voltage protection or warning? Planning to gift it to a non-flashaholic
Can you bug that extra battery from the manufacture
Ordered some sabers for the kids' packs. Thanks for the review!

What? No precursor scorching light? My attempt at pipe snobbery. lol. BTW, Savinellis are my favorite pipes as well.
Aww...why didn't they include the Three Forms of Unity (Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, and Canons of Dort)?
www.canteros.nz/collections/pipe-tobacco Every pipe smoker has to report this site above as a fishing site , Imagine the 1 tin price is 156 $ nz !!!!! lets cut the bullshits off.
2 years later, let me guess, even at home you mostly use the PSQ and the full-size mostly stays on the shelf. I've had my hands on pretty much all premiums...nothing beats the PSQ!
Ichabod actually, I exclusively use the full size. And rarely use the PSQ. The large font and size in my hands feels so much better than the small bible. Blessings!
