Saw your vid a couple months ago, and have carried it for about a month and I really like it thanks for sharing. The only thing i changed was I took the split ring on the necklace and connected it to the knife with a fishing clip, that way I don't have to take off the necklace. Have a great day :)

I see where you cut out a section for your handles. I never did that on my pot cozy I put my pot cozy at the top and made marks where the handles would go and then I took a pair of scissors and cut slits so that it slid down through those slits and I could still grab onto my handles and yet it covered up the whole cozy.

Im planning to have this also as a necklace. Do you have problem with rust? Assuming that you use it 24/7, there will be water and soap when you shower, salt water from the beach, and also sweat. Do you need to clean it every single day? And what do you use to clean it. Thanks

I have this on the opposite side, so basically, on the palm of my hand. Imagine how annoying this is since you always move and use your hands.

This is a great tutorial. I seen this video a few years ago and I’m guessing this was re-uploaded, but I’ve been doing this style for a few years now ever since I’ve seen this video, I just add my own style to it.

I carry two 58s; one around my neck with a thin double extendable leather cord, and one cobined alox rambler/rover in my phone case. In the phone case I also have a knipex cobra, a leatherman ratchet driver, 6 bits, pincers, a Spanish shepherd's miniature fire starter, a 10 cm PCB straight rule, 2 different size security pins, a half circle sewing needle and 2 m thread, aa toothpick and a micro punch. 161 g total.

It’s a shame they don’t do an Alox Rambler any more. That adds the bottle opener, Philips screwdriver combo tool which is very useful. However I was able to mod a Rambler to switch the scales for titanium ones. Very happy with it.

I simply love doing that kind of cooking/baking when wild camping! Nothing better than fresh breads on the trails or kayak camping. You did it RIGHT ✅ 👏 🙌 💯.

This was my first SAK, no second as a younger man I did have my first older SAK, and found it the other day(very happy about that) but with a broken scale, looks like a Tinker, but has no scissors but has the pliers only, along with two knives, and openers, philips screwdriver, (sewing hole) awl, tweezers but missing the toothpick as one scales is busted off half way( I wish I knew which model of SAK this was:), thinking its 30 years old or more. The bigger knife blade says Officer Suisse and reverse side has Rostfrei on it) Anyway, I love my Classic SD Alox, great nail file, and very sharp knife( opens envelopes wonderfully) and the scissors are certainly handy for thread cutting, other cutting. I am going to buy a new SAK EDC soon, thinking Huntsman or Farmer X, as I want a saw with it. Thinking. I think a saw would be very cool, too. Hi. I believe now that the SAK that I have is the Victorinox Mechanic. I did some research. Perhaps 1986-1992. Or so. I want to buy new scales complete with toothpick, as that scale is busted off, can't remember how...... its kinda cool finding this after many years of not knowing where I put it, or whatever. Lol
