“Good Sound Affects The Heart”
I don't remember ever doing this, but I see my beard is black so it must've been a long time ago. In those days it was common to do commercials that wouldn't be shown in America. I agree with the tagline: "Good sound affects the heart"

Robert De Niro Auditioning for Sonny Corleone in The Godfather
The great Robert De Niro auditioning for the role of Sonny Corleone in 1971. I was very impressed ... and in fact when the role was given to Jimmy Caan, he was supposed to play 'Paulie Gatto' but then was up for a bigger role in "THE GANG WHO COULDN'T SHOOT STRAIGHT" and wanted to take the sure thing, and yet go for this part. So I told him "I'll hold the Paulie part for you so if you don't get...
The Importance of “The Shot” in Cinema
The “shot” is to cinema what the “sentence” is to literature or the “scene” is to theater. Thank You to @screenwritinginla for originally posting a version of this clip from a @sthlmfilmfest interview with @ethan_riedlinger
The Outsiders - Auditions
42 years ago we cast "The Outsiders" in a unique way. We had all the actors together on a soundstage and would alternate different actors reading for different roles. It was interesting because each of them was watching their competition, so while it could've been a volatile situation, it turned into a very positive one. There emerged the natural respect and sense of colleagueship among them. T...
Al Pacino’s Audition Tape for The Godfather
A piece of Al Pacino's audition tape for the role of Michael Corleone in The Godfather. The interesting thing here, was a reason given to me against casting Pacino was not only was he too short, but also too 'scruffy'. So we got him a haircut and dressed him more non-scruffy and more collegiate, and then the criticism was he so cleaned up, he lost some of his natural appeal. I realized they jus...
Megalopolis - Teaser Trailer

Our new film MEGALOPOLIS is the best work I've ever had the privilege to preside over.
Megalopolis | First Look Clip
"First Look" Clip from Megalopolis. Here is an a clear, concise analysis of MEGALOPOLIS: “A man balances precariously on a ledge high above a once-grand city in the opening scene of Francis Ford Coppola’s MEGALOPOLIS, and the movie that follows is - at least in part - about an entire civilization teetering on a similarly precarious ledge, devouring itself in a whirl of unchecked greed, self-abs...
Caan was better
This shit… is so ass. 🥲
Final Fantasy vibes!
Almost a year and we did not able to see it online what a shame 😢
You aren't missing anything
I watched it I couldnot complete it what a trash movie 🤢@@tidecoldwash8994
I adore Pacino as Michael Corleone. Although he’s brilliant in every role, this one… is something truly special. It feels like it was written just for him. Many people credit Brando as the one who made this film, but to me, it’s Pacino! Every scene with Michael is mesmerizing! He deserved an Oscar for every part of The Godfather.
looks like the movie was crap, and it bombed...
I love this as it looks like it was recorded yesterday even though it was in 1971.
Very lovely!
masterpiece
Hinting at a future album, Francis? But seriously, looks like fun!
Thhis shit sucked MegaCockolis

Just saw Megalopolis at our little local 2nd run theatre in Wisconsin. Awesome, we all loved it.
Remember when we all thought that he was cooking with this first look.... but then we finally watched the film....
He should have won Best Actor for The Godfather, it was a travesty. The Academy did him wrong really wrong that year. Adding insult, they not only put him in the supporting actor category, but why the hell did the Academy nominate Duvall and Caan? They were the two biggest weak links in the film.
of course this is better, its a minute compared to fckin 3 hours you can only stand so much
First of wow they literally ripped of the same exact thing kenau Reeves (Neo) in the last installment of the Matrix resurrection 😮 that was the scene were Neo is brainwashed to think he made the movie Matrix from making a game and he gets drunk at this top high rise outdoor swimming pool and he suddenly just like that exact clip as a window cleaner see it thant time stops as Neo as one foot of ( now he doesn't shout time stop) but it snapped the woman cleaner out of her hypnosis and then basically you know the rest if not watch it. BUT UNBELIEVABLE Defo stole that whole sence 😂😂. Now last question who thinks Coppella and if you know the lady of who wrote the Matrix and Terminater that both films are linked 🤔 ( research it) but you think there telling us something someone commented that they put up a fight to stop this movie. Why? Are the telling us we have our own unique powers thar most of us aren't a were of. Or they hopping lots of people will try this for Bill kill you Gates and Harris to Depopulation 😂😂 they have to start some were. No those people are Demonic they will wipe us out the most painful way possible. But seriously anyone think there given hidden messages 🤔
We made a little parody of Apocalypse Now. th-cam.com/video/Rj1zYTynMEY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0WS8V0-n8mZLwY12
A masterpiece of a movie!
Currently listening to Al Pachino’s autobiography book
What's this movie offers?
Of course this "fable" is about the Ecological Overshoot Unraveling. "Don't let the now destroy the forever."
The Article V Convention is the logical answer to all the questions raised in the movie (no, a convention does not rewrite the Constitution, it simply allows for formal discussion about our collective situation and future). Ask Mr. Coppola if he would back a documentary about 150 college students holding a convention, as a way to show people what it actually is. I'm a co-founder of Friends of the Article V Convention and would like to pitch the idea.
I have to get back to the CLUBBB
It's genuinely really funny how this trailer is basically just a quick run through of all the only good shots in the entire movie while the rest of the movie looks like a saturated poorly lit hallmark movie
Adam Driver Giancarlo Esposito Nathalie Emmanuel Aubrey Plaza Shia LaBeouf Jon Voight Jason Schwartzman Talia Shire Grace VanderWaal Laurence Fishburne Kathryn Hunter Dustin Hoffman
She was a huge star at this moment, Al was nobody.
Any chance to release a extended cut of the movie mr. Coppola??
I wanted to see this, I didn't know it was for a single day at the theater...The music is excellent, I love percussion and hearing that in this excerpt, I need to see this...for me I bet its grand as the universe!! I am mentoring my daughter on sounds, she has had some great percussion professors, for all the love that art is, thank you!!
I love so much apocalypse now and im scare a i see a big fat in darkness A i love apocalypsis ahora oye el doblaje de 1979 tu film es magnifica guerra en la realidad.
Coppola plis not die make a novel of j j benites adapt to a big screen
Sorry coppola 🧐💔🍷😇
Vanity projects are almost always horrible. They're more about the ego of the filmaker, than making something that audiences actually want to watch.
this one was so bad its good 🤣 we'd have to wait another 40 years to see such an epic disaster on this scale again 🤣 this is a film that is born from an ego that ignores warning signs for 40 years telling you to stop trying to make something... the sheer dedication to making such an atrocity only makes the viewing experience that much more hilarious and unbelievable 🤣
@Hexadecimal_QueenofChaos do you think it's worth watching as an unintentional comedy? I've only seen clips of it so far.
@@LockeDemosthenes2 if you think the clips are entertaining or your type of “so bad it’s good”, go for it, I had a great time laughing at the terribleness, I also enjoyed watching cats for the same reason 🤣 just wait for it to be free on streaming or free on,one which should be very soon 🤣 they best part about all of it is that FFC is dead serious about his terrible decisions 🤣 it’s a once in a lifetime type of awful 😇 hubris unfolding before our very eyes 😇
Mess but Beautiful 😊
Not even worth pirating.
Great and innovative idea for a hotel and the area does look nice and foresty outside of Atlanta, but the cheap box building that was obviously once a Days Inn is just a little distracting lol.
I can see the One World Trade Center in the background, which means that 9/11 happened in this timeline too
just when you think it can't get any worse...megalopolis comes out🎉
Loved the movie! Saw it three times in theatres. Looking forward to the home release!
Megalopolis a great and wonderful film. ❤❤❤
ugh
no se colapse en un momento terrible pero aveces la jente es ruda y molesta pero todo mejora al final i have paranoid ezquisophenia and is learn for me.
Filmed Jan. 7th, 1971. Hands up if Sonny Boy brought you here.
God, how many people were glazing this man’s ego? It’s honestly pathetic that this many adults were worshipping this fart in the wind like a bunch of children.
It's because of the casting this failed. It's because of DRIVER. He is SUCH GARBAGE. when will people wake up!
Sarai ricordato a lungo.
Can't wait to watch this. I was gutted to have missed it in cinema
An absolutely incredible film. I saw it last week. Rumble Fish revealed similar brilliance 40 years ago, and now a lifetime of experience to create this masterpiece. Reminiscent of Stanley Kubrick’s eyes wide shut and Peter Greenaway’s the cook, the thief, his wife and her lover. It might not be a box office blockbuster, but it’s a real treat for true lovers of cinema.
Entitled to?
Yessss
