Leafy Greens - The Best Food For Rheumatoid Arthritis?
Thank you Clint 😊
I can’t wait to be able to do that I have been diagnosed with bursitis which limits my overhead and reverse arm movements Just putting my arm in a sleeve is painful I had a steroid injection last week so far no joy Maybe I’m impatient but I so want to get back to upper body weights My joints feel great with 5 days of weight training I’m so happy with the results of weights
😅 true true true!!!
I’m currently going through this. My rad hits my shoulders real bad so I get stuck with “T. rex arms. When I’ve tried working them out with even 12 pound weights, the next day or 2 is absolutely horrible. But stretching (inclined bench and overhead press with no weight, just arms) is helping, hurting but helping
Thanks Clint for these truths
Are you still on any medication?
If there's pain in wrist due to RA, what exercise do you recommend for shoulder like it pains when lifting dumbbell
Checkout his short video on wrists and fingers Clint put out there earlier this month
Your knowledge is impeccable 🎉
Yes, my knee and wrist are the bad joints. I am trying my best to follow your instruction. I use a cane to take the pressure off the bad knee and use a wrap on my wrist. Thanks a bunch.
Talk with your PT- there are “handles” that decrease the stress to the wrist. Most canes etc are able to have the “handle” exchanged-screwed into.
@flea10x6 Thank you so much for the advice. I didn't know about and purchased a very inexpensive one. I wilI definitely look into a more comfortable cane/handle. I don't have a PT as yet and was only diagnosed in December of 2023. 🙏👍
AMEN. swollen knees hurt
If it is from fluid, has your doc (rheumatologist/physiatrist/orthopod, even primary care) considered an arthrocentesis to remove the excess fluid and consider injection (glucocorticoid or hyaluronate) to decrease inflammation? Medication depends upon type of arthritis (etiology: osteoporosis, calcium pyrophodphate, uric acid mono arthropathy, autoimmune as rheumatoid or lupus) will change what meds are most helpful in the long run.
Step, are we absorbing toxins from the modern shoes through the K1 spot?
When using an ambulating aide (railing, esp cane/walking stick) Remember that our arm and lower extremities work ‘opposite “; when you step out to the Roght LE, the LEFT arm goes forward. If you maintain this, the rhythm remains but you also take some of the weight/pressure OFF of the affected side. You also don’t list side to side.
👍
Is RA and OA a mitochondrial dysfunction? My experience lately is that I react to glutamate - both free and bound. Glutamate very high in animal protein, dairy, processed foods, MSG, etc. And if you read Robert Naviaux's Cell Danger Response…it sounds like glutamate is an excitatory molecule along with Calcium. Research says glutamate dysfunction is linked to RA and osteoarthritis…and also linked to genes that blunt the body’s ability to convert glutamate to GABA. And as Roger says, mindset is huge. Nervous System regulation with Limbic, Somatic and Vagal exercises are crucial to get out of this trauma response and out of Cell Danger Response. I think we’re all dragging around 747s of emotional baggage…
What about the protein source for rheumatoid?
Thanks for sharing! ❤ Wondering, if one has recently been diagnosed with RA, instead of taking meds, can one try changing their diet first? Would that be something recommended, instead of having to be be weened from meds.? Thank you!!
Thank God for Clint P. , his program works. Eating highly nutritious food and avoiding processed junk food allows the body to heal. Also exercise is proven to be anti inflammatory . I also incorporate intermittent fasting and Plaquenil , My life is So much better than before these lifestyle changes. Thank you Clint Paddison!
Oh my, I didn't think there was anything I could do to help myself! Thank you, thank you, thank you. The flair ups last sometimes a week before fadeing down a bit, agony! Im not sure what causes the pain escalation? I will try the resistance bands and mention the meds to my doc. I start infusions soon and hoping they help my pulmonary fibrosis slow down also. Have you heard about them?
Thank you Clint I agree you’re our cheerleader Thanks to your videos and consistent guidance and practical advice pain is almost zero unless there’s a flare up every once in a while Working on building back a lot of my muscle strength with therapeutic excercise as my last flare up had targeted my wrists and fingers for the 1st time in a while so doing better now thanks again to your supporting videos I can hang from that chin up bar partially, working on the full grip.
I go to PT three times a week. Thank God. Because I could not do all this at home. Every one of my joints has a problem because I have RA and I’ve had it for over 40 years. I like listening to you. You are helpful and you are somewhat of a cheerleader because sometimes I get discouraged but the more I exercise which is very difficult the better it is, I know. But I do get Cortizone shots periodically which I have to. Otherwise, my pain will be too much. Thank you.
Thanks u for sharing
100% Truth. Love it. Thank you for saying things so straight up and not tiptoeing around this issue.
Oh boy You are hard task master Completely agree Thank you Clint 😅 Looking good 👍🏽
I try that I was sore for a week
Lubricate those joints with movement. It does help soooo much.
Amazing!!! I can’t get organic veggies, can I sign up to the program and eat regular veggies? Hope so
I’m in pain and limited mobility
Ok start at that level and build
Thanks. My boys put up a bar to hang from during Covid. They’ve now moved out but I am now hanging from the bar or at least trying to. Thanks so much. It works! 😅
Yes Perfect 👍🏽 As always 😊
Yes yes yes Love the sun and absolutely love pistachios 👍🏽 thanks Clint 😊
Thank you Clint. 🙏🏽 You are looking fitter every new short you put out there for us. A great example for all of us. And yes again on point and I am not on any meds and yes following all your advice except the meds🤷🏼♀️ And yes I am doing it kind of alone except when I get to comment here even though I know I need a community with me and I think you are that for me for now and thank you for the wrist excercise email which is excellent. My wrists are back to normal almost and trying pull ups every single day now. Thank you, thank you 😊🙏🏽🙏🏽. I do keep tabs on my numbers with help of my PCP
Before I couldn't walk my ankle and my wrist all inflamed ....I used your reels knowledge before u made giving example of aljiona one of your member of paddison program using distraction excercise to reduce inflammation and guess what all my inflammation gone and my crp was 0.5 and esr was also like a normal person although I was taking plaquenil ..but I give all credit to your knowledge and use medicine just as an add on .....thank you so much..lucky I found your shorts abt distraction excercise ...🫡🫡🫡
Sensational! 👍💪
I have major sun sensitivity. Unfortunately I cannot be outside for long. Good to know about pistachios! Thank you
Vegan! is always a red flag as these people have a twisted way of looking on the reality of life and like this guy they’re always smug and arrogant. To say that humans shouldn’t eat animal protein is so ignorant and unhealthy.
GreaT POST do you think Statins increase Inflamation (just being diagnosed with Polymalgia)
I have never heard of this before. But if you want our help, see training in the description below. The same lifestyle strategies we use can drive down inflammation and cholesterol naturally.
Thanks, wonderful advice! 👍🙏💛
Yes, you are right I agree. Stop focusing on your aches and pains, and start focusing on all the good.
So, what should a person in his 70s should eat?? I need to help my aunt!! Thanks in advance for any person who are willing to help us
Can’t wait to get my steroid injection in my shoulder so I can get back into upper body weight training again Just so painful with this bursitis
Thank you Clint 😊
What a complete load of shite, I'm afraid you have been brainwashed by the plant eating guru's
Thank you very much Sir. You are my inspirations since 2015.love from 🇮🇳
Thank you for always encouraging us!
💛🙏👍
Don’t miss any of your tips Clint and winning the battle
What he says around 34:00 is very important for people with indoor cats. Animals produce vitamin D when sunlight hits the sebum on their fur. Then they consume the vitamin D by licking their fur. Cats (or any mammals who are kept indoors) can't make the vitamin D they need. They can lick their fur all day long, and get nothing from it but hairballs. And no, letting them lie by a sunny window does not solve the problem since glass blocks most or all of the UVB rays. Please take this information into consideration when caring for your pets. They are entirely dependent on you for their health. Please make responsible choices.
❤❤❤
Goodlooking
I watch you too! You feel our pain and I see you're fighting your pain with us. Bless you...
I’ve been advised to take methotrexate, but I’m very hesitant and want to heal naturally
Thankyou ❤
