Episode 2 of Weird Reverbs: Digital Spring Reverb
Digital Spring Reverb, sounds like a non sequitor, an oxymoron of sorts. But here are three on the more affordable end of the spectrum and honestly, the little pink Moskey has no business sounding as good as it does.

So while I’m decently mechanically inclined I wouldn’t exactly say I’m good at wood working. For starters, apologies on my headstock getting in the shot here and there, at least is mixes it up a bit. The First Act series of pedals is highly under rated. The distortion is a DS-1 clone, the chorus is analog, and the delay is PT2399 based oddity that sits between a boutique pedal and a schlock echo effect. It’d be better than nothing. Guitar compressors are generally more subtle in terms of speed and compression ratio compared to rack compressors but it’d definitely help. Also pedal compressors aren’t usually stereo so you’d have to not use a channel.

Yes-ish. They plug into the back of the amp portion with a 1/4” jack but the cord is only long enough to reach the amp. If you made an extension cord to reach an amp on top it’d work. It’d have to be a 1/4” mono f to m chord made from speaker cable NOT headphone or line level cable.

My AirFX works and it’s a lot of fun but after a while I noticed that the top left corner of the unit gets warm [near the power input but above]. This being my first AirFX, I don’t know if this is normal or not. I also noticed that this brand new power adapter that I bought, was actually outputting 11 VAC instead of the rated 9VAC - could 2volts of difference be the issue? Or is there something wrong with my AirFX? Please let me know. Thank you

Well I can’t say for sure but it sounds like that definitely could be the cause. Most consumer electronics are +/- 10% and this is over 20% which would make the voltage regulator work harder and voltage regulators do get hot when supplied with too much voltage.

I have an FX90. Brilliant pedal! Inside there are trim pots, and it's possible to adjust these to achieve a longer-than-expected delay time, but at the expense of stability, leading to warbling. I suspect the pedal in this video just needs adjusting to reduce the maximum delay length until the warble goes away.

I had a similar problem with my FX96 DOD Delay so I cracked the books on the circuit and learned that the BBD chipsets on that were designed to run at a higher voltage than 9 volts. So I rolled the dice and gambled with juicing my FX96 with 12 volts which solved the problem instantly. I've heard of other folks swapping out caps and even transistors to achieve similar results. I had to repair a burnt out diode on my FX90, so I'm no stranger to a soldering iron, but if there is an easier fix like using the 12 volt off my power supply instead then to me its a better solution as I hate burning my fingers with that iron. Keep in mind that it is still just a gamble to do what I did...
